“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I bought step bars for my new truck. They arrived damaged with a dent in the driver side step bar. They are refusing to replace the damaged product.

Once the product is installed, and the shipping box is gone, there is no way for us to prove the shipping carrier that the damage was done during transit and not during installation. Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot proceed with the damage claim.

They charged me an exorbitant restocking fee. For a $45 part a $15 restocking fee is outrageous. If you're not sure it will fit don't buy it here

Had 2 options free delivery for 4 days or extra $14 for next day. Paid the extras only to get email I'll receive the part in 5 days

Worst customer service to deal with. Period. Ive ordered brakes over 2 month's ago and they dont reply to anythimg you send and very limited hours

Cancellation is a two step process and requires confirmation on the manufacturer's end in order to avoid any further complications. As the normal turnaround time for cancellation is 3-5 business days, we are unable to guarantee cancellation if the product's shipping date is set on the same day or the following one as sometimes products are shipped faster than expected. However, we are always ready to assist and provide the return documents to return the product back for refund or offer compensation if the client will decide to keep the product.

From what i see, your order was successfully rerouted back to the manufacturer and refunded in full as of 3/11/21.

This may be the first review I have ever written. I am shocked, disgusted, and downright APPALLED at CARiD.

First the "tire and wheel specialist" said our wheel didn't come in a staggered fitment, so we placed an order with all 8.5" wheels for over $2300. They sent all 9.5" sized wheels - mind you, I'm a pretty understanding person, but the front two rubbed against our strut towers and didn't work.

I went back online and noticed that they did actually sell these in staggered fitment - and very simply wanted the front two wheels exchanged with the proper size that WE ORDED and we would keep the back two no problem since it's what we originally wanted anyway. We were on the phone for over an hour, and they refused to let us speak with a manager. I guess that right there was a telling - enough sign that we were in trouble of being victim to a scam. We then opened a case that was supposed to be solved in 2-3 day. Day four - still nothing other than asking for more photos which we always delivered.

I even was proactive and reached out to Chester because I saw him responding to all these angry customers saying, "this is not how they do business and he wanted to make things right." Well... since then I have sent many pictures of the actual measurements of the wheels, comparison pictures of how wide the stock wheels are and how the wheels we received should be, photos of the tire rubbing against the strut tower, and the latest (and my personal favorite) - a video to prove that we didn't install the back tires on the front of the car lol.

They said we didn't measure properly and they actually sent us the right size, but the tape measurement just looks deceiving the way we measured it.

This company is true trash. I have never in my life posted a negative review, but then again have never been scammed like this before! STAY AWAY! I will NEVER buy from this company again and am urging everyone to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I am sorry if you didn't see these horrible reviews in time before you purchased from these scum bags.

Unfortunately at this time we would not be able to take the wheels back because everything that was sent to you was sent to you correctly.

You can even remove the wheels off the vehicle and on the back of the wheel will be stamping to indicate the wheel width. It will show the proper width was sent.

Ordered quarter panels from CarID and told them they are for a 71 cutlass S holiday hardtop which is a coupe. They heard hardtop and decided a cutlass supreme hardtop was good enough. But anyone who knows anything about cars knows a supreme hardtop and a cutlass S hardtop are COMPLETELY different. I messaged them the next day to verify that they didnt not send the supreme parts because there is two different types of hardtops and she sent me back a message rambling g of a bunch of part numbers. Which of course means nothing when they have one part number for 2 different vehicle quarter panels. So I went to the manufacturer website and figured out they are sending wrong parts now and they still are trying to get me to pay for shipping them back! Theyre now saying they have to go back and listen to me orderin the parts to make sure its not my fault? Even though I asked before they shipped them out they were for my car and the right ones!
Still waiting for them to stick it to me one more time! Do not order from them as the people there are not car people and just look at numbers! Imagine ordering a quarter panel for a mustang fastback and getting one for a coupe! This is how ignorant they are!

Tried to cancel the order within minutes of placing the order. Though, cancellation request had been placed in a timely manner (nothing had been shipped), I was told it would take 3-5 days for that cancellation to go through. Somehow, even though the items had a shipping day for the next day they managed to create a shipping label right after my request to cancel. WHAT A SCAM! This was my first time ordering from them, and WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN. I did reach to them again after the shipping label was created (nothing shipped yet), customer service basically refused to do anything about it. BUYER BEWARE! DON'T BUY FROM THEM. Don't read the reviews on their website as they seem to only show only positive reviews. Search the web for independent reviews such as the ones reviewed with google.

UPDATE:

June 10th, 2021

Mila at CARiD Customer Experience Center reached out to me, and went above and beyond to resolve this matter to my satisfaction. They provided me with a full refund, along with a gift certificate good for any future purchase I might make at CARiD.com.

In all fairness to CARiD; they made things right! And that's important to me as a customer. Although, my initial experience with them was not a pleasant one, I can now say that I am very pleased with the outcome; Customer Experience Center (Mila) listened to my complaint, and acted promptly to resolve the issues at hand.

I am changing my initial 1 star to a 4 star rating for their efforts. I will certainly consider giving them a second chance in the future.

The claim process always resolves for you to lose your money. If fedex breaks the piece, you are done.

They provide a return policy that at the end wont work.

I Called And Jorgio Answered The Phone. I Told Him What I Was Looking For. Jorgio Then Gave Me Three Options, From The Top Price To The Bottom Price. I Asked Him What The Diffrence Was Between The Three And He Answered All Three Qwestions. I Will Order From This Company In The Future With No Problym At All.
