“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

As many others I am a very unsatisfied one time only customer. Carid took my money and then took two weeks to fulfill my order (which I haven't even gotten yet). Emails went unanswered, requests to cancel my order denied. I am simply taking my order when and if it gets to me (and hope they didn't screw it up like so many others) just so that I don't have to deal with this POS company anymore. I will never do business with Carid again and I will spread the word around so that others don't fall into their scams.

I do not know how to put this but carid is the worst they will take your money and make you wait months for your product, I really don't know how they are still in business, its all my fault should've read their review before I order from them... all they say is watch your email you should be getting confirmation number soon but its been months now... stay away its a hassle dealing with anything with them

Ordered tires and rims for upcoming trip. Was told they Would be delivered in ten days. Finally called cause now it's just a couple of days before I leave. Now they are saying it will be after I return in 10 days before I get them. Have no choice but to drive 10 hrs on bad tires there and back again. I can not go somewhere else to get tires until they credit my account which is gonna take up to 7 days. 2 days for the order cancellation and 3 to 5 days to credit my account. They suck.

I had a question about whether or not a part would fit my car. Although the person I was chatting with via instant message didn't seem to be very knowledgeable on the specific car, she was still very helpful and looked up information that helped me later on. Great experience.

Purchased an item which it said free shipping for this item. Two days later I get an email saying that they are unable to process my transactions because I have to send and additional $82 for shipping, horrible business cancelled order, and will not be purchasing anything from here again.

Update. Was contacted and told to email them with order numbers and The basic random talk. I did and surprise no return conversation so that was flawed as well. Was told to wait for my refund it'll be there in 24-48 hours it's been 3 days now and counting. I know this seems as I'm complaining but it's my money, my time, my sanity so save yours don't deal with these unorganized people.

Crap they are

I ordered my quarter panel and soon as I placed the order realized I made a mistake on shipping address. So I contacted them asap within 2 minutes to change it. It was done to my surprise that prolonged shipping 3 whole days. Then upon receiving after 3 days of original due date I received a piece I didn't even order. Was to big and aicel acted as if it was a problem with helping me get my return straight. Now have to wait 3 days for return label and on top of that I must pay 10.00 for there mistake. Please please do not use these folks. Rock Auto, Amazon, LMC anybody can do better than a third party company.

After waiting months to recieve my Jeep seat covers I finally had a chance to put them on only to realize they sent the wrong covers. Now I know I missed the return window shame on me but now I have expensive covers that I don't even know what vehicle they go to for resale on ebay. I'd stay away from this company as they can't get a simple order correct or deliver in a timely manner. Good luck all.

I ordered a set of wheels and tires. It took 1 month for them to arrive. When I called customer service for updates, I would have to wait for a rep every time 40 mins plus. When the wheel set finally arrived, all 4 wheels were damaged. Scratched, chipped and scuffed. The wheels are black so very noticeable on all ends of wheels. All the company used to package was a piece of cardboard between rims which rims ripped threw during shipment. Then just shrink wrap on outside. Do not order wheels from this company.

To add on, I also ordered a lug wrench and socket set. Wasn't added in my shipment package. Waste of 6 weeks waiting and returning wheels.

Although these issues happened. CarID wanted to make it clear they don't personally pack and ship the wheels. They did try to help me instantly with my refund, it was just a process. They also gave me a $50 gift card for my troubles towards the website which was cool.

Even though we do not pack the parts on our own, the shipment docs at the warehouses are equipped with all the proper tools and material packaging, as well as all packages pass final quality control prior to being given to the carrier. Unfortunately, even such measures cannot be 100% guarantee of safe delivery due to possible complication in transit.

I ordered a fuel rail for my 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier on 10/9/2017 evening. The CARiD website let me know if part was perfect fit for my car. Ebony, customer service representative, also emailed me to help me complete my order. I got the fuel rail on Friday, 10/13/2017 (4 days later.) I compared the new fuel rail with old one, they were perfect match. Installed and tested it. No problem at all. I will definitely order parts again from CARiD.

Bought a carbon fiber hood, didn't get the chance to open it upon arrival because I was in a hurry leaving. Opened it late at night and notice there's 2 small cracks. Messaged them the next day and they said there's nothing they can do since i signed the delivery without any damage. Didn't even try to help at all. Lesson learned, anything fragile always check before signing anything. Never happened to me before, all items I get are always in perfect condition didn't think any of it. PS: this was the first item a bought from them.

According to our terms and conditions, all items shipped via Freight Shipping Service are required to be inspected at the time of the delivery prior to accepting the package and signing for it.
If the part arrived damaged, the receiver needs to sign the Proof of Delivery as "Damaged", refuse the package and contact CARiD to report the damage and request the replacement or refund.

We instruct all the clients about this process at the checkout stage. If the above has not been followed, it is impossible for us to initiate the damage claim and proceed with the refund or replacement and we ask customer to contact the shipping carrier to process the damage claim directly.

We do care about you and your business with us and sincerely want to remedy this situation. I have sent you an email with an offer of compensation due to this situation.

My son ordered a hood for his car, after checkout they added another 100 for free shipping on their own, after receiving the hood complete garbage, to describe it the best it is like the plastic top to a peanut can, complete trash and unusable. Try to return it, ha yea right, this place should not be allowed to rip off customers and be based in the USA. Beware go to a well known site or dealer for your parts

The shipping cost varies on the destination and it is shown once the shipping address is specified. As for the hood, some parts we sell are aftermarket and they require professional installation and professional bodywork (cutting, sanding, shaving, etc.) and disclaimers notify about extra work needed prior to adding the part to the cart. I spent 750.00 with this fake company. It is only a "sell other's products on CARID website" outfit. Bought wheels and tires from CARID supposedly together, but actually from two separate companies. When they naturally wouldn't fit my car that I had been assured would, I got four identical return labels. I had two boxes of wheels and two pairs of two tied together. I shipped but tires went to wheel company and they tell me I should be more observant when buying stuff. Wheel company charged me 56 bucks to send tires back to me so I can "pay a fee since nothing is wrong with the tires" that fit wheels that don't fit my car. But now no one at wheel company knows where tires are. Two months jacking with this sham of a company leaves my Beetle still up on jacks.

While comparing parts on various retail auto parts sites, I came across CARiD and never looked back. It was a combination of website look/feel, the same day processing counter and price/selection which drew me in. It was the price match guarantee and the excellent customer service which sealed the deal. I mean, I got a person right off the bat and they even saved me from ordering the wrong part. After 7 min or so they had my part on its way.

Called CARiD to make sure I was ordering the correct part. Even after hanging up with the representative I was hesitant. The order came today and it was completely the wrong part. I'm being told that if I want the correct part (what I ordered) it'll cost me another $100. But wait it gets better, they are going to do me a favor by expediting it to me. I'll never use this company again.

Ordered a chrome bumper got a non powder coated black bumper. The supervisor said the pictures on the site are "generic". Unreal.

Do not purchase parts from this online retailer. The customer service is horrible and they have no knowledge of the parts they are selling. I had a professional mechanic try to install the parts I ordered over the phone from a sales "specialist". When we realized the parts did not fit my vehicle CAR-ID would not take them back even thought they sent the incorrect parts. They say they have items in stock but clearly don't. Stay away there are plenty of other retailers that know what they are doing.

Had an issue with one of their shipments and the correct destination. They're over the phone customer service did them no justice. They addressed my problems via email in a prompt manner. Definitely changed my mind about them. Good products, good service.

The fact that you have provided the new address to Pay Pal does not mean that it will be added to your account at CARiD automatically.

Please check what shipping address you have in My account. When you place the order, you should carefully check both shipping and billing address at the stage of checkout since orders are submitted by the system automatically. In case you have processed address change request through My account you should have been sent the confirmation email with the interaction ID. If you have this email, please provide me with ID number, so I could check why the request did not go through.

Do not purchase anything from this company. If for some reason you need to make a return and get you money back they will make that impossible to do. There are many other online retailers you can deal with that have much better reputations. STAY AWAY

My first order was a shipping nightmare after paying $18 to ship a small item USPS priority it took weeks to arrive. They offered a gift card to make up. So my "gift" order they charged $7.15 to $12 for each individual item regardless of cost or weight because apparently they all come from different places. The shipping ends up costing more than the product and Even with the gift card cost more than the local auto parts store! Beware the shipping charges are hidden until you purchase.

8/28/20 placed the order for For projector headlights for 2017 Tahoe cost of $422.00. When I was notified of package on the way I called immediately and tried to have it intercepted because it was going to the wrong address. Still was delivered To wrong address. Been calling everyday for about a month and they stall by telling me to call in 3-5 business days. Everyday I spend average of an hour each time. They blow me off by telling me they are gonna forward to internal team. Whatever that means. I have no part and looks like I'm out $422 dollars. Will never purchase from there again they need to be shut down or someone should call a news channel to conduct an investigation

These guys are great I just have to say, always extremely helpful. CarID actually does more than needed and thats hard to find. They contact the parts companies for backed information and have great items as well ad discounts. I will definitely be recommending to friends!
