“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

These guys are great I just have to say, always extremely helpful. CarID actually does more than needed and thats hard to find. They contact the parts companies for backed information and have great items as well ad discounts. I will definitely be recommending to friends!

I have bought several items from these guys and Im very satisfied overall. Like any ecommerce business they are busy and focused on moving product but they have the best customer service when things dont go as planned. Like any company they are only as good as your worst experience and no matter what that is, CarId will do whatever they can to make things right. Ill continue to buy from them and recommend them.

I placed an order for some seat covers. The rep went to great lengths to make sure they would fit my vehicle and to go over the time it took the company to make them since they were custom fit. He also promptly after the order sent me receipt info and tracking info within less then 10 minutes of the order being placed. He also provided contacted information in case I had any questions regarding the order. I have never before placed an order with this Company; but I will purchase from them again based on my experience. Maria

Ordered a large, convex rearview mirror for my car. Delivery was very quick, but the package was damaged in shipping. The mirror was cracked and unusable. I contacted CARID via e-mail about the problem, and received a reply the same day. CARID filed a claim on my behalf with the shipper, arranged an immediate replacement part/order and gave me crystal clear instructions how the process would go and what I should/should not do until further details were available. Replacement arrived promptly and in perfect condition, my credit card was not charged for the replacement part and I am one happy customer! The entire process was efficient, dignified (no questioning how the package was damaged, etc.) and informative. 5 stars out of 5 stars. Thanks CARID!

Ordered 4 parts. Never said it was shipping separately. Received starter in 4 days acceptable.
Had to wait for other 3 parts. Received by ups on Saturday before memorial day. NO PACKING SLIP Alternator ( box damaged) and water pump.
NO POWER STEERING PUMP!

Called immediately. Not much help. Was told they couldn't do anything because of holiday, until Tuesday but issue a damaged claim.
This is Tuesday, call again. Said I took order to ups store and box weighed 17 pounds as the shipping label said and No way does the two items equal the weight of three items. My part was not part of the shipment!
4th call and told that the missing part was coming from North Carolina not Colorado. I asked how could theirs be as their web site said the part shipped with the same tracking number.
Customer service said they will try and contact the place( they couldn't contact them as they were put on hold and no one came back).
May be up to 3 days before I hear what is happening.

My package was claimed as delivered yet was missing. Car Id said they will need 3 business days to contact the courier and after they will sent out a replacement. ( This was finally said after talking to few representatives) Days pass and pass and no news yet from UPS or any update on Car Id's side. Now they are telling me the part is out of stock yet I can add it to my cart and order it again - but why would I want to try that risk again? Waiting for a refund if I will ever get it - customer service shows no sympathy or even acknowledges for being a loyal customer. They can't even provide a refund confirmation number - email - incident or anything for proof! Never ordering from them again!

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother wasting your time with customer service. They don't let you finish talking and give you misleading information every single time.

Ordered tires and wheels that said in stock ships in 24-48 hours, 14 days later they shipped to be delivered 6 days after that, to discover the wrong install kit, first phone call was told I would be contacted in 24 hours to get right part out, its now been a week and several phone calls later and still have a set of wheels I cant install and no help in sight. Terrible service, unable to tell the truth and zero chance they help with any problems. Would have picked a zero if it was an option!

By far the worst experience I have ever had! I ordered a set of rims for my truck in December of 2014 it is now May 5th 2015 and I still have not received my rims. Everytime I call to find out what is going on with my order I get a completely different story then I heard the time before. I've been lied to so many times I can't even count. Finally just cancel the order pray to God I get my money back. Absolute worst customer service I have ever seen!

I ordered a somewhat difficult-to-find switch for my car, which I needed quickly shipped to my remote work location. I didn't find out until the next day that the order was being held because of the difference between the billing and shipping addresses. The instructions for resolving the problem seemed complex and time-consuming. However, one quick call solved all the issues and I received my part on time. The native-English-speaking customer service agent could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful, which is refreshing.

My recommendation to customers is that if you are planning to have a part shipped to an address other than the billing address on the credit card, note this during the order process and things will likely go even faster.

My recommendation to CARiD is to inform customers early in the ordering process if a business rule is tripped that could potentially delay shipment.

I've been waiting for my headlights going on two weeks now. First package they sent, I thought it was a joke. Arrived with stickers and markers. Not my $175 headlights. Got a hold of customer service and they asked if they didn't fit and if I could install them Finally got them to look at the email I sent, and even the woman on the phone laughed a bit and said sorry. She was really nice. They replaced' my headlights. Fast forward to yesterday, when they sent the wrong style of headlights. If they weren't so expensive and I didn't need them in my van it would've been different, but man this sucks.:(

Can't get through to customer service now.

I ordered a new emblem for my car and had a few odd questions in terms of application and compatibility with other products. The representative who helped me, Amanda, was quick to respond and very kind, although she didn't know the answer to every question I asked, she quickly researched the answer and got back to me within minutes. There was no difficulty of explaining you see with many other customer service departments, she understood exactly what I wanted.

Brought many items for all my cars from carid.com. Super Fast delivery and Excellent customer service reps. Couple of the parts I ordered had to return cause did not fit the truck correctly but hey it happens when you buy a used car and you don't know the entire history of the vehicle but called that customer service number and they took care of anything I had to return or any questions. Today is 11/4/2019 this has been a long process but with the help of this site and many other sites. CARID paid for the package to be returned. Reversed their hold on my card for the second bumper and then credited me the difference of the first bumper minus the second bumper. So finally this issue is resolved. It is just unfortunate that this all started in August and it finally ended in November. Good luck everyone I hope you have better experiences with on line stores. Well today is November 2nd and as promised here is an update. CARID did send me a ups freight return paper so I did not have to pay for it. That was in my email. So we sent it back.
I was told that when they receive the bumper i should have a credit to my credit card of the difference between the two bumpers and then a refund of the second bumper. They received the bumper on Oct 30th. I checked my credit card today and i only have a refund for the difference of only 444.38. I will wait for Monday to see if they credit the remaining. Again this should take this long to get your money back. But I will give another update on Monday especially if i do not see my refund.

As promised. Well i finally heard back from CARID and they sent me the paperwork. And then when i called to get the bumper shipped back. Guess what the price is 1400. 00 dollars. You guessed it. It is so much money that it actually is cheaper for me to keep the bumper and try to recoup my money on my own. I guess now i will need to learn how to sell the products. CARID makes it so hard to send something back and put it all on the customer. And they never even tell you about it until the end. Lesson learned. Make sure you know the return policy. Specifically when you have to pay for it. All I know is I will never ever buy anything from CARID again. And Now i will search and post my story on every site that i can. I hope my story helps you. Because i am about now out1700 dollars. Hopefully I will recoup some of it. Good Luck Everyone.

I recently bought a bumper from CARID. After speaking with a representative and explain that I have a 2019 F250 with an aftermarket receiver the 30K magnum the customer service rep suggests to purchase the Addictive design bumper. So all is good I order the bumper.
After waiting a week or so we received the bumper. And to our dismay the lights that the customer service person helped purchase do not fit the bumper when you have your license plate light on the bumper.
We called CARID and they said that they are the wrong lights. But still after discussions the other lights won't work either.
Then my husband measured the bumper and realized that the bumper won't fit the 2019 F250. It is off by 9/16th
MY husband did another search to find a bumper that will fit. He did find another bumper and called the manufacturer to verify that it would fit our truck especially with the magnum receiver and the manufacturer explained yes it will.
Well unfortunately we could buy the bumper from the manufacturer directly. So, my husband called CARID.com and spoke to a customer service rep explained to them our issue. That we need to send the first bumper back and need to then purchase the second bumper. And the customer service rep said not a problem. She will put the paper work in and when they receive the first bumper, she will then send out the second bumper and give the credit for the first bumper and charge for the second bumper.
Customer service rep said you should receive an email 24-48 hours with the return information.
So we wait 24-48 no email.
I followed up with CARID again. And they said they would need pictures etc. So, I did sent them an email with the pics.
They said let us review the email and we will send you another email 24-48 hour. OK.
I wait 24-48 hours nothing.
I call again and then they said they contacted the manufacturer and they will need to see pictures of the packaging. So, we took pictures of the bumper already to ship.
They said ok give us another 24-48 hours.
So, I wait 3 days.
I received nothing in email.
I call again.
Then I receive the 2nd bumper in the mail.
They charged my credit card for the second bumper.
And I still have the first bumper.
So, at this point I am so confused. But was like no problem. I will just send the first bumper back.
So, I called CARID again asking customer service the status of this email I need to receive to send the 1st bumper back to them.
It has been several weeks to get this done.
And they said well the manufacturer never received the packaging pictures. So they will need 24-48 to send me the email.
I asked for a supervisor and now the supervisor said she will personally take care of this and will contact the manufacturer and send the email to me by tonight or tomorrow morning. We shall see.
Then the supervisor says oh by the way, you do know that you are responsible for shipping this product back to us. You have to find the fright carrier and pay for it yourself.
I said NO. I was never told this. Why should we have to take care of this since the bumper doesn't fit and the what is on your website that shows the lights and the lights do not fit with the license plate lights in. Which by law you need. This is false advertisement.
She said that my account doesn't show anything about the bumper not fitting. And she will need pictures. So I sent them the pictures today. We shall see if I have to just eat the shipping cost.
Had to call again and they still they still have not been able to get me what they want. They will not give me the presidents of the company email address or any Vice President.
What do they have to hide.

Fog lights advertised at $77 turned out to be $114 when I ordered. Tried to cancel the order immediately, but they said it was too late. If I try to return them, they will deduct $25 from the refund for the original shipping. Of course, it will cost me $25 to send them back, so I would be out $50 just to return them. Will not be dealing with them ever again.

I understand your frustration but the shipping cost varies on the destination as well as the taxes. After adding the parts to the cart you put the shipping address. The system not only calculates the shipping cost and tax, but it also checks the nearest location where all the parts are available (the closest warehouse to get the lowest shipping price, the availability of several items at one location to have the shipment combined for free). When the address is filled in, it shows the subtotals for the item, shipping, tax separately and the grand total. If the total does not work for you, the order is not processed, no fee is hidden, just close the page or get back to the cart.

Only if the grand total works, you can proceed with the order and be redirected to the page where the payment information is required. Taking into account all the diversity of products, warehouses and final shipment locations across the whole US and world this is the most accurate way for us to provide the best competitive prices (of course, if you find the same part for less we match the prices for you).

They state their parts are "in stock" and ship within "24-48 hours". They're not, their customer service rep told me they don't stock any items, they get them from the manufacturer who stocks them. And their shipping times are a lie, because my "24-48 hour" parts still haven't shipped after ordering them a week ago. But if you ask for a status update you have to wait "24-72 hours" for them to get a response from the manufacturer! This company is a joke, save yourself the hassle and order from the manufacturer (or any other company that's not CARiD basically) and you'll have a much easier time.

This was my first time using CariD but far from my first time ordering auto parts on websites. Luis was extremely knowledgeable, patient and made sure that I could receive the part for a customer vehicle in the allotted time frame. Then an email from the shipping department the next day stating there was a delay, but I would still receive the part, one-day prior to my deadline. I will use them again, many times this year. I was kind of hesitant about placing an order for seat covers for my car on line, but Danielle assured me that the seat covers would be an exact fit to my Mustang. She also got me a discount for being a retired Vet, with 20 years in the service. Its always better to deal with a person in this tech world we live in now a days. Can't wait till my seat covers arrive I will post another review when they arrive.

I ordered several small parts for a total of $17.64 and then was charged $65.64 for shipping, The parts could have fit in the palm of my hand and the shipping was $65.64. I could have had the parts shipped from around the world for that price. RIP-OFF don't do business with this company.

I gave carid a try because I felt that other suppliers I had in mind had lots of bad reviews too. I also believe that people usually don't bother writing good reviews, most people only find time for writing complaints. I decided to give it a try and ordered some $70 accessory from them. Well, I'm pretty much satisfied. Everything was smooth and fast. I'm about to buy more from them and I will report my further experience with carid whatever it is.

Delivery date was posted. Didn't happen. I had to called them to find out what was going on. I felt like I was being spoken to like a child, " let's just wait until everything gets here and we send you your shipping notice". The second delivery date passed and I sent an email stating I was disappointed in the service. Got an email a couple of days later stating rims and tires had shipped. They were delivered two hours after the email. Get everything mounted and I have a flat valve stem leaking at the rim. Now one of the tire pressure sensors is malfunctioning. So I made a claim on warranty. After 3 days I am told they need pictures. I spent darn near 2 k, I have no faith in this company and will never use them again. I can't even get a bloody phone call from them. One more train wreck on this purchase and I will call my credit card company. Epic fail...

Ordered car mats on March 15. Back ordered on April 2, May 2, and now June 2. Called for refund. 5 day processing period and IF the manufacturer magically comes up with the product they will NOT refund money. So you have to wait for more shipping time and whatever other "delays" they can come up with.
UPDATE: Received full refund after one day (June 3) and an apology from company rep.

Make a phone call and make sure product is IN STOCK before ordering

I purchased from Car ID, Bosch wiper blades on the assurance that they would fit my vehicle. I contacted them after their 30 day return period as I had an emergency and had to go overseas, which I told them. I was not asking for a refund, I was asking to switch them out for a different manufacturer's blades that fit. Their site falsely advertised these particular wipers as fitting my vehicle and so regardless of their 30 day policy, they did not work as promised. I went back and forth with their so called customer service dept and all they kept doing was quoting their 30 day return policy. Then they finally offered me a $10 gift voucher. What an insult. I will never use Car ID again.
