The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
For any questions I had concerning the product I was looking up or bought, all my questions would be answered quickly. Havent had any problem where they couldnt fix and very friendly. Great service but better products!

So far I've had to contact this company twice. There was no core return slip in the box when the new part came, as they stated in their first email. I contacted them and they said they would send it via email in 3-5 business days. Two weeks later still no email. So I sent them another email. Waited for their reply but a simple core return absolutely should not be such a problem.
I purchased a custom hood for my car and when it arrived it was clearly the wrong part. After and unbelievable amount of emails and 5 hours of hold time I was told that the $420 part could be returned at my expense with refund for purchase price only. This meant I would lose the $170 shipping cost from them and the $150 + in return shipping costs. Getting roughly 100 back for something i never used, or could use. On top of that after all of my interaction with the company they modified the site so that part would no longer come up in the search for my vehicle, telling me it was all my fault and they could not help me out in any way. So if you chose to purchase from this site, buyer beware that you get exactly the right part or you are screwed...

I have ordered a few things from CARID and they are very attentive to your ordering needs. I ordered a tail light for my light truck on Tuesday. By Wednesday I already had it in my hand and installed. Now, that is what I call a great company to order from. Will definitely be ordering from them again. They just became my 1st stop in any orders I do for my vehicle. They have pretty much anything you need for any model. And good news they have Boat Accessories too... :) I am a very happy customer.

Never ordering from this website again, we spent over 400 dollars & they can't seem to help us out on THEIR mistake for sending out the wrong color of the product we ordered! Seriously, I know we passed the 30 day limit but they need to make an exception on their policies when it was their mistake to begin with!
I received my rear wing spoiler damaged in shipping. I notified the company, they agreed to pick up the damaged part and replaced it with another. I asked that it be expedited based on the situation... they were a little reluctant but then agreed to next day it for me. The next day turn to three days then seven day. I called to find out what was the delay. They apologized and told me it's in route. Later the next day I received an email that read your rear wing is on back order. Will you like to continue this item order or cancel. I was not sure what to think at this point after spending a total $4000. 00 plus on parts wheels and tires. Bottom line this company was not consistent with the info they provided and they were very quick to reply with dead end order updates thats always prompted no reply. Please contact customer service.

Put together a cart of brake rotors and pads, but didn't order them. Later received a phone about the uncompleted order/full cart and was asked why i didn't go through with the order. I explained i was just looking for a quote on parts and that shipping was too much compared to amazon prime. I then received an email from Victor Calvo with a link to a cart he put together for me. Better brand and the total was $20 less than my first cart. Even added a $6 discount. Best parts service i've experienced
Long story short, I ordered a bumper grille for my wife's denali. They shipped me the wrong one. I called they emailed me a return label to send it back so I did it. About 2 weeks later they email me saying that it was cut and was my fault. Without knowing it they debited my account the full price of part and didn't send this ruined, no good to me part back to me. Their customer service has been terrible through this whole situation and now I'm getting screwed. Order somewhere else!
I would not recommend this place, especially if you order anything that needs to be painted. This is from the box with chips and orange peeling. They claim it's a shipping issue…I'm not sure how orange peeling happens through shipping but thats their logic. And looks like from looking at their BBB, they have a history unsatisfactory reviews and their lack of willingness to help customers. So I would highly suggest looking at other options

I would NOT recommend buying anything from this company. Unless of course, you prefer to pay for a brand new product that you receive in worse condition than the one you are replacing. If we wanted to have the damaged product replaced and sent to us quickly, we would be responsible for the fees. If a business wants to succeed, they would replace the part that was sent in terrible condition in an expedited manner so the customer doesn't have to wait an additional 2 weeks. We will definitely never buy products from CARid.COM again!

After speaking with about 4 customer service reps and being told nothing we can do because you are outside of the 30 day warranty period, I wrote a review on this site. It's a shame you have to write a review for a company to listen and try to fix a problem. Nevertheless I was contacted by Alice who wanted to work with me. After some back and forth emails we came to an agreement. I didn't get a full refund, but they also didn't dismiss me. They agreed to return a portion of the purchase or process the return of the front bumper since I didn't install it. I would have to pay for return shipping and the front bumper costs me $103 so I thought it was a good compromise. Still beware that IF you decide to purchase parts this big that there IS FINEPRINT. Please read it all and let my hard learned lesson save you some time/money/headache.
I bought a bumper cover for my car. The bumper was cracked when it came. Car id took a month to replace because they thought I was lying. I had to cancel all my install appointments. They took over a month to correct it. New bumper finally came. Had to reschedule my appointments. Finally get car/bumpers to shop. Shop says they don't fit. Contact car id and the first thing they say is it's outside the 30 day warranty period so we can't do anything, but still let us know what's going on. Back and forth with carid crooks and they say the manufacture said that I have to remove the impact bar to make it fit. My shop won't do that. Plus it's dangerous because that's what absorbs the IMPACT... ugh. They say they won't take it back because 1.) it fits if you take out the impact bar 2.)I'm passed the warranty period and offer me $25 refund from the $400 I spent on the parts (plus I had to spend $450 at the shop) and they tell me to have a nice day.
I reply: "So even though it was carid's fault that I wasn't able to install in a timely manner and had to subsequently change ALL my install appointments and take 2 days off to get the freight shipment and then was one day late of informing you, which was because of a holiday. AND I have to take out a reinforcement bar to make this fit, which is what protects me in an accident... You can't take anything back and you offer to give me 6% back in the form of what you call a partial refund...
I would like to know if you would take out the reinforcement bar from a car you and your family was in for a bumper that you guys sell? This is terrible customer service... and I'm out almost $1000 and you tell me to have a nice day."
I check their website and they are protected because it says in the fineprint that the bumper is for cosmetic/show only and you may have to remove things from your car to make it fit.
CarID is crooks and they do not honor their policies even when it was their fault.

Ordered items that nevered shipped. Cancelled order and requested refund. Was told 5-7 days 04/28/2021. On 05/07/21 request confirmed. As of 05/12/21, was told to please wait another 5 days. They don't have a reason for money not being sent back. Will have to proceed to the next step. They take your money fast however, don't want to give it back.

After numerous emails, and several customer representatives later, the tires were returned and full credit was issued. For the record, CARiD, it should not be this difficult to do business with you. Your earning power would be substantial if you improved customer relations and service.
It will cost me $145 to resolve this issue by returning all of the tires and going elsewhere and that is well worth it!
Update... After being told no supervisor was available, and despite tires still being in original packaging (I received them on FRIDAY) I was told could not return them AND IF I did there would be a 10% restocking fee plus the shipping both ways as the error was not theirs.

In the past few years, I have made many purchases through CARiD, and was always thrilled with the results. The products always arrived as expected and quickly. If/when I did ever have an issue of any kind, customer service was not only knowledgeable and top notch, but the best I had experienced anywhere. I used to rave about CARiD to everyone who admired and asked questions about my car.
NO MORE. They are no longer the same company. They either sold the company or simply outsourced everything, and now the last two recent orders have been complete nightmares. Customer service is now the same outsourced garbage you get with every other company and they are about to lose me as a long time customer. I also no longer recommend this website to anyone. CARiD has become a joke.

Update to my situation with Carid... with a little back and forth ( lets call it negotiations) Carid has given me a full refund. What I dont understand is with the competitive world we live in why they would not have just done the right thing in the first place... nobody wins. Lets see what they do from here.

I ordered WeatherTech floor mats for my vehicle (almost $400 worth). One package came that contained a K&N air filter. I called to report the problem and holy cow! What they make you go through to actually get what you've ordered and paid for is insane! One week after calling them and waiting 15 minutes on hold to speak to someone, and then having to send photos of the filter I got to prove that they screwed up, I finally got a return label. Still no confirmation on the floor mats that didn't get shipped... Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this company again and I will advise others not to order from them either.

They said the tires were in stock, and would ship following day. Three days later, I called and was told they would be dropped shipped from Manufacture. I wanted to Cancel order, but he said it would take five days to cancel. They charged my card before they even shipped the product.

That annoying "chat girl" came up on the CARiD website... so for a little humor, I engaged dialogue. To my pleasant surprise, AMANDA was extremely helpful and courteous --requesting permission to take time to do some research on my behalf -- regarding availability, shipping estimate, paint/appearance, even following up by e-mail with a prepared order based on our discussion.
