“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I have never put in a review of any kind before. I think they are kind of meaningless. However, I feel that I must share my experience in order to help others to avoid making the same mistake I did. I ordered a set of Black Rhino armorys on November 29th of 2021. I understood that these rims were back ordered and was given an estimate of about 6 weeks until I got them. The only reason I chose this company was because they gave me the shortest estimate for the rims. Looking back, that was probably my mistake. Nonetheless, I trusted them. Eventually, the estimated delivery date came and went. About a week after, I got a notification that the rims were being shipped, but was given the wrong tracking number. I called and thought everything was sorted out, but then the company canceled my order. I called again and they said they had to redo the order for some obscure reason. I got a new order number and thought everything was ok until they told me the delivery date would be pushed back another month. WTF happened to the rims that had been "shipped out." I eventually called and decided it was time to cancel the order. I am hoping I get my money back, but we will see. They were shady about the entire process, making my life very difficult and overall buying process a nightmare. I am a 17 year old kid who had saved up a bunch of money in hopes of buying new rims for my truck. If I had turned to some other, more reputable brand, then my rims might be here by now. Since I chose the shadiest company out there, now my dad is mad at me and I still can not drive my truck. Trust me, save your money and time! Pick a brand that will not just straight up lie to your face.

Bought two sets of ventshades from Carid. For my 2017 Ford truck! The first set was damaged when shipped. The other set three of the four ventshades fell off after four days. Luckily the one that was still attached didn't damage my vehicle. When I removed it because it was senseless to leave on without the other three.

I never in my life had this much trouble returning faulty merchandise. You have to take pictures! Give them your vin number of you vehicle. Give them a statement of what's wrong with the product. Hoop after hoop! Email after email! Just to get a return label to ship them back. It's ridiculous! Most companies send you a return label with your merchandise. I have spent hundreds if not thousands with this company. But no more! Too much hassle to return faulty or damaged merchandise. Then on top of it you talk to a person who barely speak English!

Basically, Carid is a third party company who takes your order then orders directly from the actual manufacturer. Who sends it to you! It would be better to order from the source directly. Instead of the middle man! Two weeks have passed since these ventshades fell off my truck! How long will it take to email me a return label to send these junky things back. Or credit my charge card!

I bought new ventshades from Ford. Took the ventshades that fell off with me. The Ford technician told me EGR uses the wrong 3m tape! They would have all fallen off. I was luck it happened when I was washing my truck. Not driving on the highway and couldn't retrieve them to return them. Imagine that dilemma! Trying to return an empty box.

Be smart buy from a reputable direct party company. Not the middle man!

A few months ago I purchased some new Cray wheels and nitto tires for my Corvette. Once I got the wheels onto the car and started driving it I noticed that one of my wheels kept losing pressure slowly while i was driving it. I ended up taking it into a goodyear store had them try to find/ fix the leak which they couldnt find either. When I called Carid.com to let them know that there was an issue they would not just take my word or the written word of the Goodyear shop for it. After about 3 weeks of going back and forth with them on the phone and email to try and get this issue resolved, which even included me sending a video spraying the tire with soapy water, they tried to tell me that because they couldn't see a leak there was nothing they could do. This prompted me to get a little loud with them. Which led to them agreeing to take the tire and wheel back. I didn't spend close to 3700 dollars to have defective merchandise. However, here is where it gets so much worse. After about a month of them having the wheel in their possession and countless unreturned phone calls and emails, they sent me an email saying that they couldn't find the leak and we're going to send it back to me at My Expense! This prompted me to get VERY LOUD with them explaining that I am NOT doing this for fun, there is a legitimate problem and it needs to be fixed. This is when the sales rep, George Daskalothanasis, got a random and mysterious email from his warehouse stating that they were going to replace the wheel for me. All in all from the time I shipped out the wheel and tire to them, until the time I got it back was close to 2 months of summer driving season gone. The whole ordeal was about 3 months total. I have the new wheel and tire now and everything seems to be holding pressure, but I will never do business with this company ever again. They need some serious help in customer service.

IT's the worst website to order off the market accessories. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VULTURES! I have very unpleasant experience with them and I am not ordering any parts from them anymore. BEWARE of HASSLE FREE RETURNS coz it's not true. They will always email you back and forth for same old redundancy email and end up you'll not be able to refund your shipping and handling cost eventhough the fault is in their end. You'll end up paying the return shipping AS WELL for the product which DOES NOT fit in your vehicle despite the fact it's clearly before at check out that shld be compatible in your car. In later part when you received the product it doesn't fit and they want you to ripped something off just to make the product fit for their satisfaction! As far my understanding was, when you ordered a product on certain website we make sure that it's compatible and it fits and doesnt need any altercation bcoz most of us purchasing it are amateurs in installing it. Any products fits signify mismatch and you can't just say to you customer to rip a hole to make the bolt fit it... What kind of customer service is that? Don't tell me that it's factory defect. It's massive production and each every corner of the said parts are standardized and none of it was different from the other so don't make it a reason because of production defect it doesn't fit. IT'S HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH... I REGRET I ORDERED WITH THEM... PLEASE STAY AWAY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF BY THIS HEARTLESS AND OPPORTUNISTIC COMPANY.

In my original review I explained how CARiD advised me to purchase a strut kit for my wife's Cadillac Escalade. The kit was terrible and did not work. After talking to the manufacturer, Arnott, they agreed to let me return the kit, get my money back and purchase a kit that would fit my wife's truck. Unfortunately, the labor to install the wrong first kit was $700. I asked CARiD to refund my $700 since they sold me a kit that would not work, resulting in the labor cost. All they would do is offer me a $150 credit. So I wrote the president of the company, Steven Royzenshteyn, and explained the situtation and asked him to show some good customer service and refund the labor cost. Three days after I mailed my letter to CARiD, I got a response. They called and offered me $124 back on my credit card, or the original $150 in online credit. REALLY! Your advisor sells me the completely wrong product, causes me $771 in labor costs, and you think I'd accecpt $124 back in return? What a joke! Do not use this company for your auto parts. There are many others out there who offer much better advice and will stand behind their advice. Even the president of the company could care less about his customers.

Bottom line is you trust companies to know what they are advising and what they are selling. You trust them and send them your hard earned $$. But when they screw up and send you something that really doesn't work, and it costs you an extra $771 in labor costs, you'd think they'd do a tad more to try to fix it than offer you $126 back. I've seen my fair share of good and poor customer service and this is one of the worst I've dealt with. It's been an awful experience for me and I'll take my business elsewhere.

My husband and I were about to go on a long road trip and needed tires. We found that CarId had a good deal on a tire/rim package. We went for it, along with a few other odds and ends to add to our tahoe. We paid with our American Express, best thing we could have done! Immediately after we made the purchase we received a phone call confirming payment and to insure all is well with the order. My husband said yes, but wanted to make sure we were on a very strict time contraint and if we could not get the tires within the given time frame, then we needed to cancel the order immediately. "Oh yeah, yeah" they said "should be no problem, that we will receive the delivery time in the next few days". We received the the delivery schedule a few days later and it was not going to work for us. Everything but the rims/tires were processed. We immediately called them and requested to cancel our order. We are talking within a couple days of the order. The money had not even processed through the credit card. They no, sorry all sales are final! That is bologne, the customer is not satisified, nothing had shipped, we are canceling this order one way or another. I called American Express and disputed the charge. As of now our money has been credited back to our account because American Express agrees with our dispute. It took weeks for the items to ship to our home. The shipping company just left the tires at our door without a signature. We already purchased the same items locally, instead. Now I want to return all items to CarId, they are refusing to give me an address to return them. Terrible customer service. Not sure how they are in business. I know they are about to be without merchandise and without payment from us!

I ordered a suspension lift for my truck but before I place the order, I decide to call to make sure everything was in stock and also asked couple question. One of those question was if the shocks i need them comes in pair. The sale representative name "Jared Woolley" ensure me they come in pair. I asked if he was super sure, and he said yes. What is my surprise when i got my package. They did not come and pairs. I call him and he said Ups must have my another package with the rest of the shocks for me. Called Ups they said there is not another package for me. Call him back he transfer the call to customer service this was around 9:30 am. I talk to around 10 people and everybody said no they do not come in pair and that he was wrong. I decide to talk to a manager guess what? Nobody is going to let you talk to a manager or supervisor. It seem like there is not manager in that company. I desperately i stared call every body to see if anybody can solve my problem. Talked to " Karla Mora" no luck, then " Anthony Lesco" no luck, then he transfer me to one of the supposedly manager " Simon" wait for 30 min never answer, them called my sales representative Jared Woolley again and told him I would like to talk to his manager, this dude put me on hold for 59 minutes nobody answer!. At this point I'm upset!. I got to talk to another dude called " Hector Ventura" he said her going to transfer my call to the manager on duty, no luck. Finally i got to speck with "lady garcia" she was helping a little but, they want me to pay more money for another product I don't want, I asked to let me speak with the sales manager named "Ben Mulley" and she said he was gone for the day! I asked the customer service manager or some manager she said " Ryan Gronlie" he was gone for the day also. This is just a big scam!. Be aware with this people!

I am sorry for doing this, but here I go, i placed an order on February 18th 2018, today is may 8th, i had order a new exhaust for my 04 mini S, the pacesetter 88-1382, well the manufacturer and carid played around with me for all these time, and updated my order to be shipped on July 18th, well not acceptable, I had accepted the 1st 2 delays, but i was not happy for the 3rd time around, instead of taking care of me, their bast solution was to refund my money, If i was trying to keep a customer happy, i would have given the next available part for no extra charge, but no, they were trying to sell me another one, and pay extra 400 dollars, If you are about to buy something from CarId, think twice about it.

So, i was contacted by Alison, from CarID, and expressed interest on what happened with my problem, i noticed that the did not offered the item that order, not a bad thing at all, and not only that, they offer me to take care of me if i want it to order something from the, and they did, now i can say after that they care about their customers, and i guess its never late to make a customer happy, Thanks Alison fro taking the time and correct the issue for future customers wont experience what i had to experience.

TO SUN IT ALL UP, I PURCHASED SOME TIRES AND WHEELS. THEY CAME TO ME UNBALANCED/BALANCED WRONG. THEY FOUGHT WITH ME OVER AND OVER TELLING ME THAT THERE WASNT ANYTHING WRONG AND THAT THEY BALANCED THEM USING THE LATEST MACHINES. NEEDLESS TO SAY, MY TIRES WERE DAMAGED AMD I WENT BACK AND FORTH WITH THEM ON THE ISSUE. THEY TRIED TO EVEN BLAME THE MANUFACTURER AND TEIED GETTING THEM TO WARRANTY THE TIRES. THIS WENT ON FOR MONTHS. STILL ZERO RESOLVED ISSUE. THEY WOUOD EXCEPT MY CALLS ANS DIDNT RETURN EMAILS. I WAS A CUSTOMER WHEN SPENDING THOUSANDS BUT NON EXISTENT WHEN I HAD ISSUES CAUSED BY THEIR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE BALANCING THE TIRES. I WOULDNT BUY MY LAST BREATH OF AIR IF I WERE SUFFOCATING!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AMD LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR ANYTHING YOU MAY WANT TO BUY. BEWARE OF THIS BELOW SATISFACTORY COMPANY. I HAD MIXED REVIEWS IN THE BEGINNING AND HEARD HORROR STORIES... BUT I WAS TOLD THINGS HAPPEN YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. WELL I SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH MY GUT.

Hey, beware, I've had VERY BAD EXPERIENCES with Carid. They shipped my tires and wheel's, mounted and balanced WITHOUT TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor's), which I paid for. They wanted me to dismantle all four wheel's and send them back in order to receive a refund. You know, I can see if one or two was working, which would have been a clear indication that the TPMS had been mounted. But Nooooooo, all four were NOT working. I have a 2020 Camaro. I had taken my car to AutoNation to have my car service, plus have the TPMS relearned. The service department said that all four TPMS would not relearn. So, to have me dismantle the wheel's and ship TMPS back to them, when it's quite obvious that CARID forgot to install them would cost more time and money, I told them just keep the mesely $150.00. They could have at least offered to send me new ones or a refund without hassle or hesitation. So, my advise to you all. Find another custom wheel site. I promise you, there will be problems. You will regret that you ever dealt with them. The first time I dealt with them, I paid over $2,000.00. This time I paid $2,750 and still had problems.

I purchased nfab nerf bars from carid.com. I received the item and I attempted to install the passenger side first. I immediately noticed that the mounting tab was welded in the wrong place leaving a 3 inch gap between the mounting area and my truck when it suppose to be flush. I phoned carid in an attempt to exchange the product, but I was on hold for ever, I then had them call me and told them about the manufacturing defect. They told me to take pictures of the item indicating the problem, I did and emailed 6 pictures. A week goes by and no contact from carid, once again I have them call me. 6 hours later they phone and said they did not receive my pictures, I told them I got an email thanking me for the pictures received. Another week goes by, I call them long wait time so I have them call me, 3 hours later they call and said they wanted more pictures, I told them I already packaged the item and it was ready to ship, at this point I demanded a refund because I was tired of the runaround, the representative said they would talk to their supervisor and call me back.

3 days later I phone again I spoke to Robert bolado from carid, he viewed the images I sent and he saw the defect on the bars. Mr. Bolado said he would work to try to get my refund. By then I filed a claim with paypal regarding this issue. Later that day, I received an email stating I would only receive 229.00 out of the 414.00 I paid, I emailed why the 229.00 got another email stating that the item was because my error, meaning because I ordered the wrong product. I checked with nfab and according to them I had the correct item number.

I phoned again, I was told by the representative in order to receive my full refund I needed to cancel my claim with paypal. At this point I felt they were trying to pull the sheet over my head, I told them I would. 3 hours later I received another email stating I would only get 229.00, good thing I didn't cancel my claim with paypal. Paypal ruled in my favor and returned my 414.00 back to my account. BUYER BEWARE OF CARID.COM

When you call an order and you ask for complete strut a second is for complete strut assemblies complete is fleet upper a arm assemblies I ordered bilstein strata assemblies that were not not complete I called back they said certain parts were not in part of it's in part of it so I reordered to get the parts I needed they sent them to me still were not complete when I asked for a refund they told me I had to pay for the shipping due to the fact that their salesmen and their experts if experts have no experience Salesman goes to the expert expert tells the salesman what you need and you do not get the parts to complete unassembly then when you talk to a When you talk to a manager they get very rude it's very rude they say that you have to pay I have to pay for shipping because they don't accept responsibility for not sending you all the parts that their experts say that you need When you talk to a manager they get very rude it's very rude they say that you have to pay I have to pay for shipping because they don't accept responsibility for not sending you all the parts that their experts say that you need When you go to your mechanic take them all the parts that their experts say you need they were still not complete pleat parts missing

So you call this company and are placed on hold. While on hold this recording comes on with this guy giving random facts which is amusing Well thats as good as it gets. I have placed two orders with this company and they struck out twice. First time I ordered left and right front calipers. They sent me two lefts. Had to prove to them with pictures and then wait a week for them to send a replacement. Since things eventually got worked out I thought hey I'll try again. This time ordered rear calipers they charged my credit card and the next day got the tracking number. When checking the tracking number they system showed my package was delivered in another state and was delivered two months before I even placed the order (obviously it was the wrong tracking number). Well trying to work with CARID to get the correct tracking number was where things went from bad to disasters. Carid are not the ones shipping the products they send the orders out to a 3rd party vender. Over the period of 3 days (daily calls) they were unable to contact the vender (via phone or email) to get any information regarding my order. Since I needed the parts and wasn't getting any info from Carid I decided to have them cancel the order. They said I would be getting an email in 3-5 days when the credit was processed. 10 days latter still no refund so call Carid again (again learned interesting facts while on hold) and the service rep said they still have not heard from the 3rd party company regarding the cancellation of the order and can't issue a refund until the vender refunds them for placing the order. Again the rep said once they process the refund I will get an email, which will be 3-5 days. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. After going around and around with the rep regarding the lack of communication between CARiD and the 3rd party vendor and being placed on hold (to learn new random facts) they finally came back to me and said they just heard from the vender and would process the credit. They were hesitant to send me an email while waiting on the phone to confirm receipt, but they did. I guess we will see if I do get the refund in 3-5 days as the email states or if I'll be calling back to learn more random facts from the Hold Guy.

Changed my ESSTIMATED shipping dates 16times! Even lied and said it was mailed. Said I Would get tracking number in 24hrs. Then they email another lie 2 days later that there another delay in ship date! Been waiting 4months! Wont let me cancel or refund my 500 bucks! CARID says it a custom order. They said 2-4 weeks! LIES! IF I KBEW IT WOULD BE 4MONTHS PLUS LONGER TO GET NURF BARS! TRUST ME! I WOULDNT HAVE ORDERD FROM THESES IDIOTS FRAUDULANT SCAM BIZZ STEAL MY MONEY! THESES IDIOTS EVEN OFFERD ME A 25 DOLLAR FREE GIFT CARD! LMAO! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM AGAIN! I DONT EVEN WANT YOUR FREE JUNKY ITEM OR GEAD ACHE! DO NOT ORDER PARTS HERE! They'll send the wrong part, then charge you a restock fee and shipping! Their "no hassle" "easy return" policy is a bull!

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother ordering from here - I made that stupid mistake - shop ANYWHERE else but here!
