The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Attempts to find out what is going on, I am now told items are on back order. I have now asked for a refund. They either have no clue on how to run an online business or they are extremely unethical.
I have recently acquired a pickup that I am going to make my personal hot rod. I was so impressed with my recent experience with CARid, that I plan on many more purchases with them. Plus I will tell all my motor head buddies. Keep up the good work my friends. You will be hearing from me very soon.
This is the worst company to deal with, waiting for a month already to get my refund. Every day they say wait another 3-5 days and it goes on and on. Terrible, I'll be disputing that transaction thru my bank, it will be faster and easier to get my money back. Avoid them as much as you can, safe your time and money.

Bought seat covers for the two front seats and one bench seat cover for the back of my brand new 2016 Hyundai Sonata from them. First of all, installation takes hours. Second, you have to take your whole bench seat out to put on the back seat covers. Third, the front ones look like $#*! and don't even fully fit my seats around the sides (looks nothing like the pictures I ordered). Wanted to return them, but shipping took so long the 30 days were almost up, so I'd have to pay expedited shipping, and the seat covers were supposedly "custom made to fit my car" so I'd have to pay $60 return shipping and a 15% restocking fee. Now I'm out $300. Don't waste your time or your money.

CARiD.com has great customer service, I don't understand how they got such poor ratings. No matter who's fault it was for a mistake with an order CARiD always made up for it (money back, exchange for a different product, and/or gift card's).
Do not order from here. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They have no problems taking your money but they have a whole lot of issues getting you your product. I am on hold for at least 20 mins every time I call and every email goes unanswered. This is the absolute worst site you could order from.

This co. Is an example of pathetic customer service. You order, you are told you will be advised of any change(s) to the order and then NOTHING! Delivery dates are changed without notice or explanation. This company should be bankrupt; it's customers must be amongst people who have no self-worth. I ordered a bug visor it came in on time but it was fairly damaged it wasnt there fault. I talked to them and sure enough they are sending me another one with no problem. They have great customer service skills and there products are very good.
We just started using Car ID, was using Parts Geek. Eddie is a parts sales representative, very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful of your women customers. He returns your call right away, if you don't want to wait on hold! His extension is 8978, please call him up if you like to be treated like a valued customer!
Connor was my sales rep and he did a fantastic job not only with finding the parts that I needed but also getting me the lowest total price on all the parts and shipping! As of this writing one of my parts arrived damaged (Definitely the shippers fault!) I immediately contacted CARiD with the required info and was promptly taken care of! I will definitely be doing business here again in the future!

After receiving and installing a new set of Lumen LED replacements it was determined that one light was defective. I was directed to destroy the installed light before a replacement would be sent and I explained that this would require disassembling the lighting, wheel liners etc. 3 times and requested that a new light be sent out to allow for removal/replacement at one time and then provide pictures of the destroyed defective light. They refused to accommodate so I requested a full refund for a return due to their lack of customer service and was directed to send photos of both units destroyed. Ordering another pair of lights from another retailer and will change out once I receive and destroy the product from CARID for a refund.
They will pass you form one person to another and never follow back up.
Sure they may have competitive prices but if your order has an issue good luck... this was my last order I'll ever place. Buyer beware their customer service is awful

They got me! But lucky for me, not too bad. I ordered a grille-guard for a pick up truck and was told 2 weeks to ship. Then they changed that date 2 more times. Blamed it on manufacturer. In all it took over 9 weeks, Finally got it, A GO RHINO WRANGLER GRILLE GUARD. I drove all the way to my brothers house so he could help me install it. But guess what? No instructions in the box at all, and with 6 pounds of parts i could have used them. I know thats not carid's fault but over 2 months got me upset. I drove back home and printed the instructions from online. Try again tomorrow.

This site boast great quality, long term performance products that meet or exceed OEM requirements. NOT TRUE! I purchased headlights, they started peeling just after one year. Called and tried to get some type of warranty credit and all I received was an apology. The customer service rep, Pam, blamed it on Eagle the mfr and said CARiD is not responsible for the inferior quality of the products they sell on their website. Do not expect anything you buy to last much more than one year. Beware! JUNK!

We ordered a set up side steps and they told us the wrong ship date, could not tell me the shipping company for 3 weeks and when they finally did, it was wrong. The steps were damaged in transit and we noted with pictures when we went to the delivery company dock because they could not make it to us. CARiD then took no responsibility and blamed the manufacturer.

My Boss wanted to order Brakes and Rotors in advance for his 2018 Range Rover Sport. I called around for pricing and then went on the internet. Could not find parts so called CARID direct. Have VIN number to CARID agent and he looked up the parts. They were ordered in June but we did not try to install them until early October. The parts were wrong! They will not take them back or exchange them. Parts cost was over $1000. They offered a $25 gift card. The Boss has put CARID on our Do Not Use Supplier List. Not many companies on that list.

30 Day return policy No Exceptions. Will not even exchange. Talking to management makes no difference.

The 30 days return policy was designed to give a consumer enough time to test-fit the product, make sure it meets their expectations and to report defects/ flaws if located. Unfortunately, after 3 months from the moment of purchase, it becomes very complicated to return the product, as it is far away from the regular return period.
In some particular cases, if the return period has passed just recently, we can still check if the product could be returned as an exception. We are currently working with the manufacturer to see if there are possibilities to approve the return.

My initial contact with carid I was very optimistic I had found a decent site to deal with. I should have known something was up when I originally found them through google and then when I contacted them they said they could do a better deal if I went direct to their site. I ordered a set of rotors and pads. Pretty simple. Told them my timing was the critical factor and if they could not perform in my time frame just tell me. Well the contact told me no problem they would ship immediately and I would have Friday at the latest. BOTTOM line is they lie and tell you what you want to hear instead of being honest because all they want to do is make the sale. Once your committed they don't care. Based on tracking they will be at least 4-5 days late. I want a site that I can trust. Choose another online vendor there are plenty to pick from.

Blaise was great to work with, but unfortunately that was the only thing good about this transaction. I was told 5 to 10 days for delivery and three weeks later I am still waiting for my order. I also asked to make a follow-up purchase to an order I made last year and was told I had to go through a different sales person who still hasn't been able to help me. I believe that she doesn't have the interest to do so.

I've always had a positive buying experience with CarID.com. The products are well described and competitively priced. When you place an order you are immediately informed as to the status of your order and I've always gotten my packages on time.
I would highly recommend CarID.com to anyone looking for vehicle related purchases.
First ever order from CarID was a set of 4 wheels. Purchased a set on August 3rd. 4 weeks go by and no shipped wheels. Tried talking to customer service and they just kept saying that they can't get the manufacturer on the phone. I asked to buy another more expensive set instead, which they gladly took more of my money. The ship the wheels and only 3 are delivered. It turns out they made an error in the shipping address. The 4th wheel just bouncing around the east coast. I tried calling UPS to correct the address but CarID would them call in and change it to something else. I caught them in several lies with me on the phone. Now the wheel is sitting in KY on hold requested by CarID. I had to file a fraud claim with my credit card to get my money back.
