“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I would not recommend to my worst enemy! They are horriable! Good luck trying customer care because most of them barley know English! Never again for me and hope u guys don't make the same mistake I did!

Total incompetence, lost paperwork for returns and blamed every issue on management, accounting, vendors, shipper etc. tons of emails delaying action.
2 of 3 items didn't fit. What happened to your 100% fitment guarantee?
6 weeks later no action. Now I have a PayPal claim against them.
Never again will I deal with them and it's too bad since their pricing is good and in the past things were smooth. Granted they sold what the mfg claims would fit, but they need to argue the case with the supplier and not force the customer to wait while they take their time figuring it out.

Ordered headlights, adjuster was broken and would not allow to align lights for proper beam display. Notified them, thetvwanted pics of box, parts, explain what was going on vs. just accepting that I have 45 years of repairing cars and a poor quality adjuster was the problem. They make it difficult to attempt to return there junk. Buy your lamps from someone else.

I wish I read these reviews before purchasing an item from CarId.com. I purchased a hitch extender over a month ago which arrived, but was missing the bolt to attach to my car and doesn't even fit properly. There site says they accept returns and will even pay the return shipping costs. I started the return process a month ago and they took weeks to get back to me and when they did they requested photos of the item not fitting properly. Even though I think this is extremely poor customer service I sent photos anyways then was ignored for weeks ago. When I submitted a poor review they contacted me promptly and are "trying to fix it", however the customer support specialist can't even get emails correct and has sent me emails intended for other customers. I still haven't returned the item!

Purchased car seat covers steering wheel cover as well as floor mats and trunk mat. Purchase was in late November. It's February and I didn't even get an apology. Just a matter or fact attitude that it's on back order and scheduled for mid February. No follow up and it's now late February. If I hadn't already installed the rear covers and like the product I would tell these SOBs where they can take their lack of customer service. They have failed twice that's enough for me to never do business with them again.

Purchased struts and bellows for wife's car. Shipment arrived earlier than "delivery date" and in excellent condition (always a plus!). CARiD's website was easy to maneuver. No issues to report, so I can't comment on Customer Service. Prices were competitive relative to other websites. Overall, a very good purchasing experience.

Very disappointed! Placed an order with special delivery. Spoke to team member to make sure they have it in stock ect. Was assured that goods will be sent on spec day. After a week when I asked for update thay said it is not in stock! No one contacted me either... nightmare. Waste of time!

We ordered a muffler and tailpipe through this company.
The site asks you in-depth info on your car, so you will be certain it fits.
Got the parts, took them to our mechanic ( 12 miles away) and guess what?
They don't fit. Today, I have been on hold with their customer service number for 1.5 hours---you heard correctly--1.5 hours! This is unheard of---what kind of a company are they, taking hard-earned money from unsuspecting patrons--the majority of whom are young people.My next call is to the Attorney General of New Jersey.

Pretty sad when 205 reviewers only give one star. Horrible customer service, they don't respond to emails, 800 number called and they don't even pickup. Website may look good but this is a drop ship internet business. I picked them because they were located in NJ, thought I would get my product quickly. Ordered 12/21 and now 2/3 still don't have the correct product. Spent 1/2 again today via live chat trying to explain the mixup and yet I still have to wait 24/48 hours for an answer. If I don't hear by Friday morning I too will call my CC company and dispute the charges. STAY AWAY.

Purchased a radio online which came defective and the wrong radio. Cost me $133 to get into Canada. They admitted the website description was wrong. They admitted the part was defective and they agreed to send new radio and compensate for the $133. Instead they reimbursed the radio money and pretty much told me I was screwed for the $133… actually said they don't have the money to send back to me. Customer service was ignorant. I warn every classic car owner to stay away from this company. I am now openly on a vendetta to spread the word about this company being the worst rip off scam out there. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM unless you are willing to loose in the end. I have a piece of junk radio and out $133. When asked to speak with supervisor I was told they would call back… I said no I will wait and sat on hold for 40 minutes to get nowhere. When I asked that supervisor to speak to someone higher up then him, he stated no one but HR was higher. What a scam company.

They are good about telling you they have a product in stock to get you money but hate to return it. I had one product that was returned for a refund and sent on a signature receive after they receive it. They didn't contact and when I call they said I would be getting a full refund. Four days later they said it was damaged and would not return my money. So at this point my out a $1000. 00 plus part. I guess it time for a lawyer which its now going to cost me three times as much. My advice is stay away from them.

Somehow my son borrowed my 97 sonoma pickup & unknowingly tore by the driver side mirror! Amazing i thought not to notice this happening! Anyway, ordered a replacement from Carid & it fit like a glove! Just like original! Awesome! Thanks sooo much! Great price & shipping was quick! Perfect transaction!

Not a good company,. Com or whatever clearing house they are to deal with. Explore your options but steer clear of Carid, they don't have your best interests at heart. Not willing to work with you on a defective parts 3 days beyond its warranty period. Worse and lazy customer service. Eventually the other guys will win over their customers that provide better service and satisfaction to their customers, Carid just doesn't get it. Spyder Headlamps purchased spring 2021.

Ordered some fog lights. They shipped wrong Qty. Argued with me that's what was shipped. Next I ask for refund do they gave me the run around unprofessional to the max. Supervisor never gets v back to you. He did once and said he was busy. Every other customer rep didn't read the emails back in forth and kept starting me from scratch. I hate this place. They are liars and should be closed down. Rip off. Also did I mention. The product didn't fit the description at all. So they told me after oh I'm sorry it says that we are currently making changes to our website.

World class service, Diana feedback and communication was awesome I wasn't expecting it. I stumbled across the website while searching for a replacement exhaust system for my Saab. Clicked on the chat button and writhing minutes Noelle had placed everything that I needed in my cart for me. Absolute easiest online shopping I've ever done. “These guys are pretty much a joke. I wish I had goggled them before buying from them. Item was defective or missing parts. Still not sure. After two customer service reps, multiple pictures sent, two calls, ten emails, and try still couldn't tell me what was wrong. They kept telling me I needed these "clips" but could never provide me with a link, image, product number of anything that would help me get them. This of course we never mentioned on the listing of the item I bought. "Quick and easy" it said. They also refused to refund, not that you really get a refund anyway because of their ludicrous restocking fees on returned items. So, luckily for me, I said yes to Google purchase protection, and google saved the day and refunded me. CARiD really doesn't care about customer service. Don't be fooled by the slick website and false promises on their site. A quick google shows what they are really made of. ”

I have made a few orders now and discovered that it pays off to double check. Even though the CARiD website is easy to navigate, I like to use the chat feature just to make sure that I am ordering the right parts. My last order was some custom floor mats for my crew cab truck. Kristy was the associate that was helping me. I can only imagine how much experience it takes in this industry to navigate your way through a fitment guide within a certain amount of time as to not keep your customer waiting, thus keeping them happy. Great job Kristy! Thanks for all the help.

Ordered a set of tires and rims. My order was place on 01/30/2017. Today is 03/15/2017 and still nothing. I keep getting emails about the rims being on back ordered and that its not their fault. I was also told that its the manufactures fault. When I placed my ordered it showed all items were in stock. LIES LIES. Its been weeks now. Last week when I emailed them and asked about my delivery they said the tires that I ordered the DOT# was out of the date. I honestly think its just an excuse that they are using to hold up my order. I was given a new delivery date of 03/31/17. Lets see probably next week I will receive another notification that my rims and tires are delayed again. If you want to save yourself all this frustration I am feeling right now just skip CARid.com

Bought custom covers for our new Chevy Equinox last year. The idiots sent the covers in the wrong boxes. Had to get our grandson to install them. Had no idea you had to go through so much. Now a year later... Called to say the seam separated on drivers seat. 1st the call center is in Phippines. No way I'm struggling to understand whatcthey're saying. Thanks you greedy company for outsourcing. I was told basically tough luck. Normal wear and tear. Are you kidding me!?. Before I even finished talking. Avoid these crooks at all costs. Terrible product. Terrible service. They SUCK!

I'm very disappointed, will probably not use again. Was the first time using and was told shipping would get to me Tuesday or Wednesday, probably Wednesday. Thursday comes nothing so call and get told that no one is answering the phone at the main office in Canada. Got them to give me the number so called myself and was answered! The lady there told me that freight was only shipped once a week, on Thursday, since they received the order on Friday it was a week before shipping. Meaning it was not shipping out til today and I would not receive til Monday or Tuesday. Would have been nice to know it was a two week ordeal to begin with that be surprised. Will use a local place and spend a little more on the next trucks we set up

I recently found CARiD while shopping for a car top loading rack and Jason answered my call. Now I'm pushing 80 and only marginally computer savvy so there are times when I probably test even a saint's patience... not so with Jacob. During our lengthy (probably too long) conversation he went to great lengths to explain options and, at the end, carefully reaffirm my selections and individual prices. I was (am) particularly impressed that Jacob never, at any point, tried to "sell" me anything, he simply answered my questions and kept track of the optional items I added. He was also a great help with shipping charges. There are at least two more items I will order later and I intend to ask for Jacob (ext. 836) when I do. I ordered one set of rotors, charged $47.00 shipping, ground, NJ to PA!
A set of brake pad clips (sheet metal) were $6 but they charged $12 for shipping!
No quote on shipping before placing the order so I cancelled immediately. Ordered identical items and received free shipping elsewhere. The first and last order from CARiD!

I've ordered an intake for my car that so far has already been delayed once, and here 3 weeks after purchase and 2 days after the delayed esd I still have no tracking info. However, when I called about the issue they were really helpful in helping me figure out what was going on. And they price match so that's a pretty big plus.
