“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I ordered 2 brake light switches for a 84 Bonneville. I specifically ordered without cruise control. Wrong parts arrived. I called and stated my issue that parts sent do not match picture. New parts sent and they are the identical wrong parts as before. Company starts requesting photos of vin#. I had part Verified as correct ordered (NAPA Auto) and showed parts received. It was Verified as wrong parts sent. Car is now stuck in an active fire zone in Idaho, Rattle Snake Creek Fire. Do not order here as incompetence on CARid is what you'll receive. I should have read their reviews first, I would have ordered elsewhere to avoid this level of incompetence. AVOID THIS PLACE!

I ordered a light bulb from them but, after taking apart my own dome light, I saw the ends of the bulbs would not work with the part they were offering as a "vehicle specific fit." I called them up to cancel the bulb in my order before it was shipped and the lady taking care of me refunded me the money right away. I mainly order LED bulbs from them and their house brand. The only reason that I took off a star was because they don't quite have their inventory in order. I've had things backordered a few times after placing an order with it saying the parts were "in-stock." If you ever need to contact customer service, the wait on the phone is very short and they pick up usually within the first minute of holding. Other businesses tend to take much longer than CarID. So far I have not had to make any returns, so I can't speak for other people with bad experiences.

Tip for consumers:
Some items are charged for shipping fees while things such as LED bulbs are shipped free. Do check for a cost of shipping before checking out.

First time customer, ordered 3 different items, one was in the box ( 2 front struts) but no ball joints or stabilizer bars, dealt with 3 people trying to resolve, same question was the box in good condition, yes it was, you packer just did not put the parts in the box. If you had a packing list and someone checking to see what was on the order was in the box, this would not happen. Cant wait to see how hard it is to get a refund on the parts i did not get.

dont bother try a1auto or rockauto

I ordered avs wind deflectors for my 2021 ford transit from carid. They did not fit. Tried to return them and they would not accept because I Unwrapped one tried to install it thinking they were a match. After all it said they were a perfect match for my vehicle, they were not. The Customer service person was rude and not helpful at all. Never had this experience with other parts company's so I was shocked. This company is sub-par, I will never order from them again. Feeling ripped off. John H.

Pre fit in the wrapper If you try to install it they wont refund you. John H

I have been buying several parts for my Outback for last four years from CARiD. I have found the price to be very competitive to significantly cheaper and also did price matching when I called in. The support service was very professional also, at every encounter! They do it right!

Bought LED headlights with 5 year warranty. High beam went out in 4 months. They would not ship a new one after many pictures showing it was out. I had to place a new order then show proof I had destroyed both even the good one. I will not be surprised after all of that if they do not issue the credit. Buy from someone else! Their policies are rediculous. I found out I paid twice what I should have and then have to go through all this crap!

Waited longer for my order of rims and tiresthen was lied to by at least three different car id employees finally got my rims and they are slightly damaged on 2 rims all they offered me is 80 dollars back on almost 3 thousand i spent on rims and tired the guy jon jesus is full of crap dont waste your money with them go elsewhere

Do not order from this company. I paid for custom seat covers in feb 2017 and as of june 2017, I have not received non defective seat covers. I was given false information for shipping month after month. Now they want me to pay for seat covers that are defective. I won't ever deal with them again, nor should you.

Any good reviews for this company has to come from their employees. They have the worst customer service I've ever seen. 4 hours of trying before I was able to speak to someone. All I wanted to do was cancel an order I placed 30 seconds before my first call to the company. Was told the item was set to ship the next day but a cancel request would take two days. Even through the order had yet to begin process. From the other complaints I've read they have not intension of processing a return once it's shipped out. It's not worth to little bit of money you may save.

I just wanted to buy a wheel bearing, get in and out of the site fast. For some reason, the bearing wouldn't go into the cart. I clicked on Chat and got Bryan. By that time, I was feeling a little testy. Immediately after reading my brief, badly typed explanation, Bryan sent me a link to my cart with the bearing already in it. Problem solved.

The negative reviews here are completely inconsistent with my experience of CARiD. So far, I've bought a catalytic converter and gasket as well as this wheel bearing from them. In all instances I had occasion to interact with customer reps, and on all occasions my needs were met. Also, all three items were shipped either the very day I ordered them, or the day after.

I never had to repeat myself not one single time. Both customer service and sales department are respectful, attentive, outgoing and even the automated system that you listen to while on hold has a sense of humor. Speaking of being on hold, was never on hold for more than 5min. The representative once on line with you doesn't put you back on hold and doesn't rush you or try to push you towards something else. The best part about CariD is, no matter when you call, you speak to an American and they speak very clear English. Great company!

CarID still has the greatest concentration of products and ease of use website than anyone else, even Amazon, and unlike Amazon they always ship to Alaska.

However as theyve grown through the years the quality of their customer service has dropped proportionally. When I began ordering products in 2013 I received prompt and timely service and no hassle deliveries.

Now their customer service reps seem relieved to get off the line with you, disinterested in solving issues you have and will leave you on hold for ten minutes at a time.

We purchased rotors and calipers. They squealed constantly, the rubber boot on the piston ripped and the rotor wore pre maturely. Less than 15,000 miles. We ordered Monroe Struts. They came in a box marked Monroe but were not marked on the strut itself as Monroe and did not properly fit our car. They claim easy returns. They made us jump through hoops to get a return and then kept part of our money. It took 3 weeks to get them to approve the return. They falsely advertise parts and sell poor quality in place of the real thing. Will NEVER buy from them again.

I purchased replacement fog lights for my 2012 Ford Focus. CARiD's lights were much cheaper than buying them from the dealer and I found them to be of equal quality. They arrived quickly and fit perfectly. I'll be shopping at CARiD again.

Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service and shipping! Stay as far away from them as you can. I placed an order 17 days ago and it never shipped, every time I ask about it I get "give us 24-72 hours to find out" and they still have no answers. I cancelled the order 6 days ago but they still won't give me a refund because they say they don't have proof it was cancelled and I should give them "24-72 hours to figure it out". Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere!

I have used CARid multiple times and have yet to be let down by there service. Using their site is easier and quicker then going down to a part store and dealing with somebody who has no clue about anything to do with cars.

They received core back Aug. 4th 9:04am and signed for it per fed ex records. 2 chats and 1 phone call to rectify the problem and its still not corrected even when I proved with receipt and fed ex tracking number it was returned to their own fed ex print label location. Have turned them over to visa and my bank for rectification to get the $300 dollars they owe me back. Would not recommend this company if they cant correct problems as simple as shipping.

Ordered new strut assemblies, shocks and wiper blades for my truck. Prices on the strut assemblies were close to 75$ cheaper than competitor websites. Shipped the next day I believe and arrived to my door in about a week (across the country). Thanks again!

Saga begins 6/26. Order placed. Order billed on 7/7 with NO TRACKING. Order finally arrives 7/26 after multiple inquiries. 7/29 at dealership for install and find tires mounted incorrectly. 3 Left, 1 Right. 7/30 discover wrong mounting kit sent. $148 later we get that corrected. Jump to 8/21, multiple TPMS errors only to find there are NO sensors, bam another $298 to correct. The only thing they have done is issue a $50 credit. RIDICULOUS! Order #******* And here I sit waiting once again for a return call!

Tip for consumers:
Don't!!

Everything except mounting kit. Keep in mind, we had to buy sensors that were suppose to come with tire/wheel package and in order to mount the tires we had to buy all new lug nuts. Suppose to be free...free but incorrect. Solution, we will send correct light nuts if you wanna wait.

I am encouraged to give a bad report of this company because since October 25 I placed an order for a value of $ 1175. 70 ord # ******* and today is December 7 and I am still waiting and it does not arrive...

Ordered seat covers for my new truck late May of 2020. It is now mid July and i still do not have them. Contacted non customer service mid June again on June 29 and was told it would ship by July 9 and i would receive a tracking number. Today I was told they still did not have a tracking number and would be notified in 24-48 business hours.
No time was wasted debiting my account. Now i have to see how to get my money back.

I have always ordered through CARID because they always go out do their way to make sure I am a happy customer. Ive always been offered discount codes and the best customer service anyone could ask for. If youre shopping anywhere else for your car needs youre moving in the wrong direction.
