“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I ordered an exhaust that said if i ordered within the next 10 hours, it will be shipped in 24 hours. 2 days later still has not been shipped. The price also went up 17$ for the 24 hour shipping they promised. Also, from reading other reviews, i really hope this part actually fits as it seems alot of other people got items CARID said would fit but actually dont.

Needed to return some Taylor Made boat fenders. The carid agent told me if the manufacturer agreed it was a manufacturing error I would receive a refund of "x" and if they determined there was no manufacturing error I would receive slightly less. Ultimately I received even less than the lesser amount the agent quoted, and I have a chat transcript to prove what he told me. carid.com didn't care and stuck me with something less than I was told. Very dishonest, and obviously will not stick to what they tell their customers.

Update - After I wrote this review, their customer service department responded to me saying they wanted the order number to investigate. Absolutely no follow up after I provided the information. Again, dishonest. They post as if they are going to address the issue, and then... nothing!

Not very happy, I placed an order today while chatting with someone. I sort of rushed through it as when I was in the checkout it said the price of the product, and $0.00 for shipping. I figured that was the final amount and checked out with paypal. I rushed through paypal and ended up not noticing $11 for shipping, I still had the chat session open and asked him quickly to cancel the order. He said it may or may not cancel and IF it does I will get refunded in 3-5 business days. I have a hard time believing that they cant cancel an order that was placed under a minute before hand. I just feel swindled by this company and will not be doing business with them again.

This is not a typical situation and we would like to make things right and compensate you for the inconveniences.

The cancellation request usually takes 24-48 business hours to be processed in a correct manner. That is why, we advise our clients that when the estimated shipping date is set on the same day, or the next one - we cannot guarantee that the cancellation request will go through right away, as it is a two step process and the order should be cancelled on manufacturer's end as well.

As for now, we have speeded up the cancellation process and managed to cancel your order before it was shipped out. The full amount of refund has already been refunded to the original payment method.

Worst customer service of any online site I have ever seen. They try to bribe people with gift certificates they will never receive if they leave positive review. You will never receive anything contact artists and liars.

After about a week of purchasing some led replacement bulbs for my turning signals, i got an email that said there would be a delay in delivery due to the product being on backorder. I tried to be patient, but after the third email with another delay, that would have put it over a month, I cancelled the order. They claimed it was not them, but the manufacturer. Just because it says in stock or ready to ship, its not necessarily true. Bad customer service through email as well.

Wow, worst experience ever. After agreeing to a price match for a part that included shipping, I was informed that there would be an additional 125.00 shipping. This was not price matching. The price match included shipping. Before I could refuse and cancel the order, they shipped it. Now Im suppose to jump they hoops to return something I never authorized in the first place, and have been threatened that I would be again charged shipping if I dont do it there way. WOW. Do not do business with under any circumstance. I cant believe the arrogance of this company.

Website pictured the running boards I ordered on my exact vehicle. When I couldn't make them fit I got runaround about these not being intended for my vehicle but tech support would see what they could do. After not hearing back I called and they said there was nothing they would do because it had been more than 30 days since I ordered. CarID is a sham website. Do not order from them, no matter how good the prices are.

I bought rixxu seat cover from carid few weeks ago and installed it on my brand new mazda CX-9. Amazing car seat if you are looking for quality craftsmanship and it skin tight fit as well. Keep in mind this is not full covered car seat type. The back end won't be cover in full.

I ordered signal lights for my truck on February 9.3 weeks later I had not received a shipping confirmation email so I emailed them asking what's happening. They say they are back ordered and will ship April 10. Now on April 13 they email me saying they are back ordered again and the new shipping date is June 22. I am very disappointed with their customer service and will not buy from them again

Carid.com is the worst parts store I've ever had to deal with! Took my money in minutes order stayed in "processing" for a week before they even started the shipping process... canceled order and now it's in "processing" it's been weeks on a 2-3 day order... customer service sucked! I was on hold for over an hour then got cursed at by the supervisor! Absolutely unbelievable service.

I had just found CarID on Google. They had a part I needed for much less then ANYONE on the net. I was skeptical it was too good to be true, but the ratings were good so I took a chance. I was pleased with ease of checkout and confirmation/tracking emails along the way. The part arrived when it was estimated to and was brand new in box as promised. I will do business with again.

I purchased a cable and there was 0.00 for shipping when I entered my credit card. When I recieved my email they invoiced me for 15.33. The live chat person gives you the song and dance. In so many words too bad so sad. The part already processed so I need to ship it back and hope to get a refund at some point maybe... First and last Carid order. Buyers beware. Buy anywhere else.

Initial impressions of this company was a good one until I needed help with a part that was not working. The customer service by far has been the worst ever experienced. I have been working on a warrantied issue for over a month now and there is no end in sight. Was told to go buy a cheap part to replace it until it could be replaced. No one will answer a phone so issues could possibly be resolved in a timely manner and if they do they are nasty. On at least #30 email

I ordered a simple replacement grille for my classic truck. I entered all the correct information (per their ordering specifics) and even received a confirmation of this, being accurate. I received the grille - to an entirely different vehicle! No biggie, just send back and get a credit and correct replacement, right? Not even close! I had to take pictures of the product and labels of packaging, email to them as proof and wait. And wait. And wait. After nearly 3 weeks (and talking with 3 different CS Reps), I finally received a return shipping label. I was told this is a necessary process due to all the fraud they deal with. Anyway, VERY PAINFUL return process despite there site contending a "simple return process". Apparently all their customers are dishonest until proven otherwise. There are lots of other on-line parts resources. I do not recommend these folks. Just sayin...

If you are looking for the worst experience of your life try doing business with this sham of a company. I'm sure even this horrendous review will not prompt them to be responsive. Once they have your money the honeymoon is over. Your parts can come in a pile of debris and you wouldn't get a response. RUN!

Bought a product online. CARID shipped the incorrect product. Order was incorrect, and they refused to compensate for wasted duty charges, etc. No communication. After not hearing anything for weeks, and only AFTER a message was sent asking for a refund, did they then communicate saying the correct product would be another 4 weeks. Save your money and time. Buy your car products elsewhere.

The customer service personnel are rude and disconnect the calls. They also tell you in the form of emails that if you give the customer service representative you spoke with a good review on Facebook then they will email you anywhere from a $15 to $25 gift card to be used on their site. This is the only reason they have a high rating.

I recently purchased about 5 products from this company. As I was getting ready to purchase, I searched the web for a coupon code to no avail. So, I decided to call customer service and ask if they had a military discount and to my surprise, they offer 10%. I had the pleasure of speaking with Edward from NJ. He asked me for all the SKU numbers of the items which were easily seen in my checkout cart for each item and repeated back my order. Applied the discount which took off $60! The items were ordered two days ago and have yet to be shipped, but I'm not in a rush so it's okay with me. I would recommend this company again. Edward told me that if I want another discount for further orders to just call back and they could help anytime.

Tip for consumers:
Call in for a discount. Even if you're not military, they may offer you something since they have excellent customer service.

Please tru to avoid this business, they have if not the worst, one of the worst customer service and business handling ever, they take too long to ship the orders out, they don't have a straight answer, carrier company doesn't even deliver to door, had to drive about 30 miles to pick up what I ordered, as I said before, please try to avoid

Had to file dispute through paypal. I requested a cancellation. They said it takes about 3-5 days to receive an e-mail confirming that order has been cancelled and then 3-5days for a refund. I placed order three weeks ago. I have not heard nor received any updates from them. My next step is filing Fraud charges through Justice Federal Credit Union. Don't Buy From These Scammers! You Have Been Warned! The Federal Government Needs To Investigate These Crooks!

I ordered a tire and rims package. When I put the tires and rims on my vehicle. It shook tremendously. I immediately brought them in to get balanced. They still made my vehicle shake at speeds of 30-50mph. I called them to let them know I was having trouble with my purchase. They told me they can not do nothing except I need to get more testing done at my expense. I got them forced matched and road forced tested. Drove my vehicle again to only be let down with the shaking. I don't know what's worse. They won't honor any warranty and they basically sold me rims that were so out of round that they cannot be fixed with any amount of tricks of the tire trade. Discount tire manager said the rims were out of round to the point where they are junk. So far Carid has failed to help with any of the testing fees I've paid in addition to the tire package I purchased from them. Take it from me and invest your money where you will be taken care of righteously. Thanks for reading.

Ordered a pair of window visors for my suv and ended up receiving countless email communications stating that my purchase was on back order due to manufacturer delay. CarID reps provided me with so-called "discount" codes for my future purchases, but they were no good because they expire within days. I was offered more "discount" codes which i never received, and was given more excuses. I ended up receiving my order 2 months later. My second purchase was not any different. Best to go elsewhere to purchase your automotive parts, at least a company with good business practices!

I ordered parts that their site "guarenteed fitment." Its been nearly 10 days since contacting them and they still haven't resolved this even though they also claim "easy returns."
I will be contacting my credit card to dispute the charges. Avoid these crooks and goto a rock solid online autoparts store.
If these crooks want to dispute my review, my order from them was *******.

I was given a full refund.

I've read some negative comments about Carid, but I've purchased many products online and I found Carid to be very customer oriented, professional, and highly responsive. Other online merchants can learn from them.

I placed an order March 4th and after 16 complete days of numerous emails being sent on my behalf and patiently waiting for my parts I get an email (on March 20th) stating the parts I ordered have been discontinued. If their customer service was anything to brag about I would have been notified a lot sooner, not 16 days later. Absolutely unacceptable service. I will not be ordering from CarID again. I advise you to proceed with caution when placing an order through this company.
