“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Ordered a lighted spoiler for my 2019 Corolla on 7/22/20 and was charged immediately. Didn't receive until 8/15 and there was missing paint from a small area. Contacted them and and after almost 2 weeks was finally given a small credit (had to purchase paint and when it arrives will have to try to touch up myself). So finally today I'm having it installed but there are no screws! I contacted them and they will contact the manufacturer and get back to me in 2-3 business days. Every time they were supposed to get back to me, after waiting the specified days I have to contact them again and they have done nothing! I am assuming I will have to find screws myself that will work. Absolute worse customer service!

Ordered handle cover for Yukon xl salt. My car look changed to nice looking, the price was cheaper than other competitors, customer service outstanding, helped me with my order that lost and sent to other address. It was my mistake when lplaced the order on line. Thanks card Id

I ordered a part that was suppose to work my car. It didn't work for my car. Requested to return the part. Got an email two days later asking me unnecessary questions like the VIN number which should have been asked in the first place. And I showed them the proof. I got a second email a day later. No progress made, just another email wanting clarification on my problem. I got something that doesn't work and I want to return it. Simple as that. (I got a partial refund out of nowhere... and now I'm stuck with a piece of plastic worth twice or three times that partial refund. THEY TAKE SO LONG TO ANSWER EMAILS, or dont even reply at all. I'm still waiting to know why I only got a partial refund and what I should do now.

I see the other comments here and can agree with the fact that they sell products they don't even have in stock. If you order something, make sure it's in stock or else you will be waiting for months!

Had to call customer service 3x so far:

1) when preparing my order there was no delivery listed in my Orde summary prior to submitting payment, Customer service was little help

2) when I received my order it didn't include instructions on returning parts for score deposit of $95.52 and a shipping email was not sent as promised online, this was Tuesday night a week after placing my order. I was told to expect an email by Friday

3)Saturday I talked to customer service again, was told to be patient waiting for email... was not given date to expect email.

I'm convinced they stole my $95.52 core deposit, don't be like me and go here for the low prices... they will draw you in with low prices and then tack on ridiculous shipping cost and fake core deposits and when it's all said and done you will end up paying the same for a company that offers terrible customer service...

They don't communicate well. They're fairly rude on live chat. They can't get any information. They don't warehouse their stuff. They have to contact the manufacturer for everything. 2 day wait for any question. Pathetic.

UPDATE: I just got an email saying it will be delayed until 4/6/2017. I ordered on 3/26/17,3-5 day turn listed on the site, then they had no information, now (4 days AFTER it was to ship at the latest, they tell me they need more time. What a horrible experience. $1,500 order canceled. It's 2017 folks, I would have made in less time!

UPDATE 2: You can't cancel online. I had to call them or wait to have them call me. I got the call and they offered me $50. I said it's not a money thing, it's a confidence issue. I don't trust you. He kept trying to sell me on keeping my order active. Finally, he canceled the order. What a horrible company. All that effort should have been invested in getting me the order I placed in a timely manner. Sad.

If I had read the reviews before I ordered my floor mats, I never would have ordered from them. Anyway, the floor mats did arrive earlier than expected and were delivered fed ex on a Saturday, no charge. The mats were just as they described and I am quite staisfied. Now... the big question is, do you think that they changed their ways because of all te negative reviews or was I just lucky?

We bought a Curt 4 person tray style bike rack. 2 days from 1 yr of purchasing the arm broke at the welding, allowing one of our bikes to fall onto I- 95. Now this is not their fault, it is the manufacturer, but there customer service replacing this has been horrible. They have asked for proof that the bike rack is no longer usable and the damage. We sent them pictures of the arm laying on the ground and the area where the welding broke. They still insisted they need more proof that it is unusable and they want us to destroy it. How much more unusable can you get? The arm is broken off. You can't put bikes on and use it without the arm. They actually want us to CUT UP a big steel bike rack into pieces... this is stupid and ridiculous! We would need a sawzall with a metal blade which we do not have. Then they told use we could use a hammer and make dents in it... like that is going to make a difference. I am just stunned at their logic!

Tip for consumers:
The logic if customer service/returns is horrible.

I broke A small carpet anchor for some Auto mats I purchased at CARiD and looked everywhere for a replacement to no avail. I contacted CARiD customer service (Bruce) to see if I could purchase one. He said they did not sell them separately and that is where most customer service reps would have left it. Bruce however went above and beyond for my small need and said he would contact the manufacturer and see if they would provide the part. Within 24 hours I received a call that I would be receiving to my home at no cost the part directly from the manufacturer. That is above and beyond customer service! Well done. You have just earned a loyal customer!

People make mistakes, we are all human. There was a small problem with a part I ordered as it was not what the website said it was. After agreeing with my complaint carid essentially gave me a gift certificate to cover the cost of the part. It was not an expensive part and carid made it right! Since the first order I've made 2 other purchases where the parts were exactly as described and absolutely at the best prices available. I will shop here again. Good prices, good service, and parts shipped and received in a reasonable time at a reasonable price

This is obviously a middle man business that drop ships their items, so most problems customers have are with the 3rd party. That being said, the companies they use are a reflection of them so take that how you will.

I ordered a fog light and waited 2 weeks for it to ship. It never did, then I got in contact with CARiD and they said that the items should of shipped already but it didn't and will email me with update. Got an email saying estimated ship date TBA, so I replied with a cancel order request and got a cancellation request confirmation. The next day I received an email stating that my item had shipped. When it arrived I see that they sent me the next higher priced item instead. So whatever, glad I didn't buy another one in that space of time.

Can you get the correct item and undamaged? Maybe
Do you have to try a little harder than on Amazon or local stores? Maybe
Do you roll the dice?

Not sure why so many people have left negative feedback after dealing with CariD. I used their very simple yet functional website to place my order for custom floormats. I placed the order on a Sunday night and received my item literally 4 days later (with free shipping)

They look and fit perfectly, identical to the ones sold at the dealer and over $100 cheaper. Also important to note the tags attached to the new product show GM as the manufacturer therefore most likely the exact same product sold at the dealer. Great product, great service highly recommend.

So i ordered some summer tires and rims at the beginning of April. I waited until May 5th for them to ship. I finally received them and put them on my car. From first inspecting it didn't look like anything was wrong with it. After putting them on i started driving on them. I instantly noticed my car was pulling to the right. I took it in (assuming it was a alignment thing) turns out they sent me a defective tire. After 5 days of very little responses and a long time waiting on hold they told me to send it in for them to inspect it. I bought a new tire from somewhere else and now its pulling to the left. I think they sent me 2 defective tires! I can say from this experience i will NEVER order from CarID again. I just wanted working tired and rims. After spending $1000 you think you would get high end, non defective products. But i guess not

I bought a brand new car and wanted some vent visors. The way this car is I decided my best option was to get in channel vent visors - even though they are not favored by many (because the way the chrome is on this car). I had them professionally installed and at the first opportunity I got to use them when it rained - water got inside my car on the front drivers side (I only cracked the front windows). I called in about filing a warranty claim since they were professionally installed a couple weeks ago - they had me send them all this stuff (pictures, VIN, problem, etc) and then sent a condescending email stating that I obviously had my window lowered too far. Funny they were both lowered the same amount and I have always had vent visors (never in channel before this vehicle) and this has NEVER been an issue. While their shipping is quick and prices are reasonable their customer service is lacking at best. I would shop elsewhere that would honor the warranty.

Why didn't I find this place sooner? I told them what kind of car I had. What accessories I wanted and how much I could afford and the customer service representative was awesome at giving me my choices and comparing options. This is my go to store from now on. Excellent service. Excellent prices. Excellent products.

There are a few things that I have learned from being a member with CARiD. I have learned that they never fail with getting you the best deal possible while also giving you great and reliable customer service. Whenever my dad and I need something for our trucks, the first place we look to is CARiD. I would strongly recommend this store.

I want to share my experience about my call to CariD. I called to get more information about purchasing a Instrument Cluster for my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. My associate Lisa was very helpful in answering all my questions and finding the panel I need. She even sent me an email with the details and product numbers. I have since gone back on CariD website and found some other items I plan on purchasing for my vehicle. Lisa has sold me on returning and sharing with friends and Family about CariD. I'm very happy with you service.

Ad states there will be MINOR imperfections in spoiler. Took out of box and really poor mold quality. Will take hours of work to be able to put a coat of paint on it. Talked to Car ID who pretty much told me to get lost.
Poor business, and poor quality part. They should be ashamed.

Their products and pricing are very competitive but their customer service is above anything I've ever experienced. I had to make a return and was amazed by their communication from several departments. A huge thank you to Megan and the rest of their crew for making this a seamless awesome experience. The customer service is exemplary

Buyer Beware! They get you with reasonable pricing & free shipping but once you buy from then you are stuck with your product. NO customer service no matter what your issue is. No refunds no returns no customer care. Won't be buying from them again & will make sure all friends & my auto mechanic know.

Customer service rep just kept telling me the same thing that they could issue refund thru a check. Would not listen to me that i can not have a check issued under my name for the refund because this is for a Business Account. I asked to speak to a manager multiple times and she told me the manager was too busy to talk to me. Horrible customer service, will never purchase again.

I ordered everything I would need for the rims to show up and bolt on. Their guaranteed fitment is a joke. Their lugs stripped and screwed up my hub assembly I had to leave my main vehicle on jack stands. I spent a week with emails getting nothing done finally I called customer service and all they could say was it wasn't their fault or their problem. They could send dif lugs but the damage to the car was my problem. I order a lot online but never again from these people. Lesson learned.
