“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I made mistake by ordering the wrong led conversion kit. I called to cancel, but CariD ships so fast (which is awesome) I couldn't cancel. When it arrived I called customer service and spoke with Robert. He was very courteous and despite the error being my fault, he was able to get me a return label within 24 hours. Obviously I payed shipping, but it was worth it. Thanks a bunch guys! It was great to get rolling again.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM These guys provide horrible service. I bought a set of tail lights from them just to waste my time installing them and finding out that only one worked. Had to install my old set and packed up the new to return it. Called customer service and was told that I had to make a video of it not working. Like I am going to waste another couple hours installing faulty not working parts for video making sake. These guys are insane. Allow the customer to return the product like any other company. It is bad enough that I wasted my time already. What horrible service. No sorry at any given point either.

Tip for consumers:
Do not waste your time with them. You will get better service with another seller.

Products used:
I bought tail lights for my car from them, but from the set of two only one worked. They would not let me return it unless I made a video of it not working. This is after I already wasted 2 hours installing them, finding out that only one worked. Then, had to install my old set and package up the new set for return. All wasted time. No sorry or apology from them at all. Just a refusal to accpet the return unless I made a video. This is theft.

I recently purchased headlights and wind deflectors for my Suburban. The headlight markers immediately leaked moisture and were cheaply made. The wind deflectors would not even fit in the window channels as described. The customer service people were intractable and not willing to exchange or refund. Their idea of customer service was to wish me a good day after doing absolutely nothing to find a solution.

I made a purchase about 1 month ago and cancelled it after 2 weeks. I bought a rear spoiler for my car (car was stolen days after I bought the spoiler). Accordingly, i sent a request for an order cancellation via live chat. To give them credit, they responded on the very next day. Unfortunately, it has been almost 3 weeks since the cancellation was filed and I was told to wait for 3 to 5 days twice already. This Wednesday I contacted then again and was told that I had to wait another 1 to 2 days, which brings us to today. I again contacted carid and was told to wait for another 1 to 2 days.

I bought a turn signal for my boyfriends FJ Cruiser. It was his gift for getting back from Deployment as hes in the military. They came broken, and the light socket was bent. I have spoken to multiple customer service people, all of which are not helpful. One person said they cant be returned as they were taken out of the box, one said they were "Custom" and cannot be returned - which they ARE NOT. I spent over 177$ on these lights and they're BROKEN - not to mention it is still in the 30 days. Do not order from this company, might as well just burn your money instead. I am telling everyone to never order from you CariD. Shame on you.

Purchased twice from CariD, and both times was severely disappointed. The first purchase was a rim for my police interceptor and upon receipt, the item was damaged so I attempted to file a claim. Very rude customer service and it ultimately came down to the fault of the delivery service that they used so I was told to follow up with them. A lack of accountability and care for customers speaks volumes of this site. My second purchase was a thermostat and gasket, thermostat came without a hitch but I have yet to receive the gasket, it has been 2 months now. When I filed a complaint they simply stated that the item had been delivered and that it wasn't their responsibility to compensate for the unaccounted for item. Very infuriating and would not recommend doing business with these shady folks if you can help it.

I wish I could say I had a good experience with CARiD. I purchased a radiator for my car. It took 7 days to arrive and when it finally arrived I installed it and it leaked very bad. I had to order another radiator from Amazon since I was without a vehicle and received it within 2 days, installed it, and was up and running.
After contacting CARiD by phone since the website has no provisions to receive a refund for a defective part... only replacement. I was on hold for 15 minutes... then was told I had to take pictures of the defect that they have to send to the manufacturer for review. Also I had to pay for return shipping. This is a radiator that leaks, what will a picture tell. Well, they got what they wanted. I politely hung up and chalked it up to a loss.
Hope you all have a better experience, but some of the product appear to be poorly made with little quality control in my opinion.

Purchased the wrong headlights for my sons car. Did not fit (of course) and came with completely different plugins than factory which were not mentioned in description. Started return process, received emails from 6 or 7 different people, took about 5.5 weeks to get a partial refund, I've dealt with JC Whitney, Rock Auto, Amazon, and a few other internet based companies all with good results. Based on experience with CARID I will never deal with them again, too many other companies with far superior customer service and return policies.

Never dealt with customer service like this before. Went above and beyond to answer my questions and getting me the best deal possible. Even took the time to contact the manufacturer of one of the products in question, just to get me the exact correct information I was looking for and believe me I hit the representative with numerous questions. Great Great customer service. Will stay loyal

Refund process has been a nightmare. Product was ordered 10/19/2020 and still haven't received my money back 11/20/2020 and after countless reps you get the same 24-72 hour solution assurance but never hear from them. NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered an intake from carid. They took funds out of my account but it said the payment declined once I got to checkout. I called spoke with an rep who stated the payment never was accepted on their end and to contact my bank. I contacted the bank an they wanted to know what was the transaction # because the funds were definitely taken frm my account so I call carid back get another rep on the line who states she see my funds were taken away but doesn't know why it declined. I asked for my funds back on my card she says 1-2 business days and goes to say I can order the part again with another method of payment. I ever. Spoke with an supervisor who advised me of the same thing. I will never order from them ever again! Horrible horrible horrible.

The charge is a two-step process which consists of an authorization (which is often confused with a charge) and charge itself. When the translation is declined, it means that the funds were authorized, but for some reason, never charged. If the translation is failed, the reverse of the authorization (return of funds) will happen within up to 3 business days from the day of the transaction.

Although, we would like to learn more about your issue in particular and make sure your transaction has been reversed properly.

I recently got my new car and decided to do some car part shopping as most of us instantly do. I saw some nice bags for suspension and had a lot of questions as the description wasnt as clear as I thought it would be. I booted up the live chat and got connected with the best employee I could have been connected with. She was answering my questions as fast as I could send them. If I go somewhere customer service is crucial and this website has the best you could ask over. I will definitely be spending a lot of money on this website and id recommend it for my friends

Bought a set of headlight assemblies for 468.00 and in 6 months the turn signal bezel that holds the bulb in place came un glued and dropped in the headlight assembly which made it useless. Called and was transferred 6 times and was never allowed to speak to a manager to get it resolved. I knew the 30 day warranty was out and I just wanted to purchase one headlight and not a pair of headlights. Needless to say they just gave me the runaround until I got frustrated and hung up which works out to their advantage... I will never purchase anything from them again

I have made many purchases thru the years, but when it came time to return and get refund well that a whole different story. There Sister company ONYX are the ones that handle it. I had to fight for RMA. Can not return with out one. Then the refund is another fight. What ever you buy make sure you do not have to return it. That's my experience

This is the worst site in the world, I ordered two air shocks $625 for an 04 Navigator after I installed them found that the rear passenger side would not inflate because the clips that hold the air spring in place had broken off or were broken when shipped not completely sure but like I seen in other post they made me send pictures and wait 24-72 hours. Waiting to hear back still will update when I do, however Im not expecting any progress after reading these reviews

Living outside the US there are not many aftermarket parts for a BMW where I live. I tried CARid and found the site and parts perfectly identified and CG headlights to match OEM parts. The order was shipped in one day and arrived in perfect condition. No troubled have the shipment as a piece of luggage. The headlights were easy to install and made my BMW look years newer, plus the improvement of seeing at night over the dull original headlights made the car much safer.

Was shipped damaged running boards! One side had a dent the other had a deep scratch! Did not see the damage until unpacked and after mounting brackets were installed, Called Customer service Spoke with a very apologetic Lady who put me on hold for 10 minutes or better and came back with Since you installed brackets we cant do anything for this claim! So beware of damage on your parts and DO NOT INSTALL any part of them without looking each and everything over! I guess I have learned a valuable lesson!

My last 2 orders in the past I received the order with 2 days from CA to Nevada free shipping and returns was EZ and without issues. This third order, they charged $40 for shipping. It's has been 6 days before I see the shipping email but UPS has not even received the package from tracking... so go figure.

I ordered these very specific to my car. When they arrived they were not as pictured or explained. I even emailed them to ask them specifically "were the headrest covers seperate from the seat back cover. The assured me they were seperate. They were unreasonable on the phone and refused to pay return shipping even though it was there problem. I would not buy from them again. They need to revamp there return policy!

I purchased a part that explicitly stated designed to fit a 2009 Audi Q7 which it absolutely did not and was clearly not a match. Customer service wanted to give me a $10 store credit and wouldn't accept item for return. Never again
