The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
They were very helpful with my wheel purchase for my 1984 El Camino. They had the best prices of anywhere that I checkeg online or at my local aftermarket wheel store. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is shopping for wheel and tire packages.
Ordered a ring filer and upon submittal they tacked on $15 shipping cost. Call to cancel said it would take 2 days for the cancellation request to go through and 3 to 5 days for it to clear my Bank. Will never order from them again.

I canceled an order on September 23,2020. It is now October 9th, and I have yet to receive an email issuing a refund nor any hope from the "customer service" representatives. Buyer, BEWARE! I've called them several times, and they keep jerking off as to where the refund is.

I found the website very easy to navigate with an wide selection of products to choose from. Fast shipment with great quality products, easy to understand directions and great customer service response time. The company seems to care about the customer and the service provided with personal emails to confirm your satisfaction. Greg Dunlap made attempt to contact me and was interested in knowing that I was happy with the product I purchased (3" in round bar side steps).
I will be returning for all my aftermarket vehicle supplies on a routine basis.

I ordered a car stereo from their website for my boyfriend for Christmas. They sent me the wrong one and we didn't realize it until he tried to install it. So we couldn't return it. Not only is it the wrong stereo, but it's a complete piece of garbage. I wanted one with Bluetooth. So that's what I ordered. I was sent one without, and told I didn't order the Bluetooth when it clearly says on my invoice that I did. The USB doesn't work so I wasted my money completely. They offered me a 15$ Gift card for further purchases. What a joke. Don't buy from this company!,

I recently purchased two air filters. The price was fair and they were shipped right away. I was kept aprised of the shipping as well. They filters work great and I can feel an increase in the lower end horsepower with both cars. I'll never go back to an oil filter again.
You can always rely on CARiD to have pretty much any part youre ever looking for to customize your ride. No matter what year the vehicle is, they have the part that youre looking for including tons of color customization options. Their website is extremely easy to navigate and whenever you have any issues, customer service answers the phone almost instantly and provide you with the answer youre looking for with ease. The parts are always of great quality and well priced. Theres no reason to go to any other website!
We called in to order, gave the man on the phone our vin. Ordered our hood for a 2020 jeep gladiator. Waited 2 months... received a JL hood not a JT. The customer reps had us send pics, we did. Then send vin, we did. And now i have to wait for the manufacturer to approve a return/refund. And their customer service reps are RUDE, not like a little RUDE but straight up MEAN. After the last rep said yep we will send and email with a return label, today they say i have to wait another 3 days for this approval. For 1900. 00 dollars, and sent pictures, vin. You would think that they would be a little more accomodating. I will turn it over to the fraud department on my card. They are very eager to help.

do not believe them when they say "easy returns", or whatever else they say. this company is a scam based operation. they are going to do whatever to keep you money. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY PROMISE GREAT SERVICE, BUT DO NOT PROVIDE IT.

This company holds itself out as having custom rug sets for cars, including my Bentley Arnage. After paying for the rugs and waiting over a week, I am then informed that I must provide "tracings" in order to obtain the rugs I already paid for! So, CARiD pretends to have the ability to make the rugs but then, after collecting my money, then "oops" we don't really have the ability to make the rugs unless you provide a pattern. Amazing! Who knows if I will even get my $600 back - what a complete joke - not worth even dealing with this company!

I ordered a couple parts but when I got my email invoice it read "Freight cost to be determined" I was lead to believe shipping was $99. That was for the smaller of the two items. They would tack on additional freight at their discretion without my prior approval. I contacted them, but they said they could not give me a freight quote but would add it in at time of shipping. RED FLAG! I might as well have handed them a signed blank check. I requested a order cancellation, and full refund. They replied that they would review my request, and IF they decided to, they would refund me my money. The refund process would take 24 to 48 hours. It has been 48 hours, and still no refund. When I contacted them again they said it would take 24 to 48 MORE hours to process my refund should they decide to approve it. No refund, just excuses. I feel this outfit is screwing disabled, unemployed senior citizens like myself out of what little hard-earned money they have..

Sent me wrong parts. Return process was and is awful. They give wrong and miss information. They made one error after another. Called and emailed them many, many, many times and they still got it all screwed up. They return / customer reps were ignorant. Still do not have my money back.

I have tried to return an item 3 times. They told me to wait 24-48 hours for the email with the shipping label. I never received it. I called them back and they said I was out of the return date by 2 days. They said they would review it and email me back in 24-48 hours. Never received it. Called them back again and the exact same thing happened. I texted customer service in live chat and they gave me the same run around. Do not do business with these people. There are much better companies that will not give you the run around.

I bought some calipers for a 1998 Jeep. Before I opened them I determined that I did not have the items for the core return. Below are their exact instructions.
4. Locate the plastic packing slip envelope that was included with your product.
5. Print the prepaid shipping label (sent to you via e-mail) and insert it into the plastic packing envelope.
I did not get the envelope or the email for the core return... as per their documents on the web.
So before I installed them I called CarID and inquired about the items... since it was Sunday, I was told to called back Monday. So I installed the calipers on Sunday. When I called on Monday asking about the return process, I was told I had to wait 3 days for the form. PROBLEM: I performed the repairs in Chicago and live in Colorado. I would not be here when these electronic forms showed up... Learned my lesson, threw the calipers in the trash and wrote CARID off as a responsible vendor...

Edward was so helpful. He had patience and took his time helping me. I had an issue with a gift certificate and he kept working at it until he got it corrected. I was given a price match on the item I ordered. The shipment in a timely manner as well.
They have stolen over $420.00 and I gave them 5 months to ship my steering wheel.
When I asked for the refund, they wouldn't issue it because they do not issue checks.
Feel free to reach out to me if you had similar case. Would love to sue them!

Purchased custom made Dub Tremlo for my Lexus and was told it would take 8 weeks to be made. A week before they are supposed to be done they send me an email informing me it will take 2 more months. Is this a scam? I paid $3500 and I was told there are no returns. I reported CarID to the better business bureau. Somethings wrong here.

Received a order I had ordered for a Christmas gift. The box looked good but the item inside had many severe scratches...(a hood deflector for my new truck)... It was a return that was repackaged? I was obviously talking to someone in India (the English was horrible) and I have to send them pictures now? For what?... There website says "return for any reason... Why the pictures? Why not "sorry for the inconvenience and we will send you a mailing label"... Now I should pay $7.50 for return shipping...? What did I do wrong?

I've ordered multiple products and they have all been great and arrived on a timely manner. I love shopping for my vehicle here. Also if you have any questions they are always available to answer your questions which they have done for me and multiple occasions.
I ordered headers from CARiD and when I unpacked them I noticed one header is made wrong and would not mount to my truck, very poorly made. I am now on my 2nd week of trying to get defective parts shipped back, evidently now I'm waiting on elusive shipping labels that have not arrived in my email after a week. Customer service is very poor, quality from what I can see is very poor also. I will not be buying from them again.

Ordered rims almost two months ago and they still have not shipped. However, i have ordered smaller things from them (tail lights, seat covers, mud flaps) and they shipped within a week. I would not recommend buying rims here unless you don't mind waiting for months.
