“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

They will certainly take your money, for parts they know aren't in stock and will not come in a reasonable time frame, then they will not flat our refund your money when your order is not made, or shipped. They want you to wait for the drop shipped part to ship from a secondary vendor, then charge you the full return Shipping fees th even to return something you canceled 3 weeks ago, before they even manufactured the ordered part, because they never shipped the order when you ordered it more than 4 weeks prior. I spent $3900 and work ever spend $1.00 again with Carid.

Tip for consumers:
The item I wanted was not even available for months, and was backorder with a second party.

Rhino roof rack, missing parts
Ordered a rhino roof rack. The rack arrived in factory packaging for the rails only, the other components arrived in a generic brown box. The components were loose; screws, bolts mounting brackets just dumped in with no packing slip. The 4 foot plates necessary to mount the system were missing. I called immediately and was promised swift action to get them sent. That was over a month ago. I have called 5 times, each time told they were commuting with the manufacturer and I would have the missing parts. They have not arrived, they are only sold as part of the entire system. CarID would not replace my order with new one, offering only a refund. And they would not apply the credit to a new order to be shipped immediately.
I absolutely would not do business with them again.

Are they gangster on website? Ask to CARid.com
Only these guys have no GUNS aren't they? So many victim customers wrote their horrible experience stories on reviews included me. I ordered two brake drums from this site and they send me mix and match parts so only one fitted in my car. OTHER HALF USELESS. Please do some one have power to handle like this should take care of this wrong company. Absolutely need investigate.

I bought a winch and bumpers spending over $5000 and they sent me the wrong winch. I thought no problem it's there fault they would fix the problem man I've been givin the run around for 2 wks now they made me pay the correct winch another $1600 and told me I would b credited for the winch once they receive it well they keep telling me they have an investigation going on to find out who is at fault. I was fine with that being that this is what was recommended to me to fit my truck. Today I was fed up and called to let them kno that I would pay the cost of shipping cause now I'm feeling as this is feeling very sketchy... the lady I spoke to said I would receive an email and hung up on me... now I'm like, wow so I called fab fours and made a complaint against them. Save your money and a headache

Submitted order for wheels, cost for wheels were good until the shipping costs put about $25.00 to each wheel. Which is expected. It's either added to the price of the wheel, with "free" shipping or added on to it. Once the order is shipped, NO REFUNDS! Even if the order has not been received. Once the product is on the truck and "shipped", no refund is or will be giving. If you are looking for wheels and tires, it better be what you want. No exceptions! Otherwise, best to stay with brick and mortar shops.

I just called trying to order seat covers. I have never been treated so rudely when I was trying to place an order. A $350 dollar order! NEVER again! Be mindful of the negative reviews. I was swayed by the good reviews and tried to place an order. Guess they have enough business and didn't want mine!

I went to a different companies web site and for the 4 items the today was 380 dollars. I go an email a day later to say their web site was not up to date so my order would be delayed. I cancelled that order and I placed the order with CARid and it cost 10 dollars more and it was delivered in 3 days, for free. Then a week later I saw they offered a military discount. So I contacted CARid sales and they gave me the discount after i proved my military background. I just placed another order and I will arrive 3 days after order. I will continue to use CARid.

After providing photos and all specifications, they sent me the wrong part. Then they asked for the VIN number and told me to buy another one as it will be quicker than to wait until they process the return.
I paid for another one and they sent me the exact same part again! The return of the first part was easy but its more than a month I am waiting for them to process the return of the second one. Not to mention they don't refund shipping/handling.
To me it seems more like a scam site. Stay away!

I ordered shocks for my car here and found the website to be one of the best looking from the rest of the car parts sites but I did not receive one of the parts in the mail. I got a call saying it would be delayed then called back and they could not figure out if it was delayed because the 3 parts were shipping. Called again and they said it was in stock and sorry for the delay. Called back a fourth time and they told me it was on back order again and did not have an ETA on when the part would be available. I was delayed in receiving the parts and had to order from another sites and could not make my travels to visit my family in time.

I placed an order on feb 15 they took the money they did not even have a product to send me. The product was discontinued they did not try to call me that's called stealing. The manager was the rude and a total jerk his name was martin work id number was 8712 if he wasn't lying about that too. PLEASE do not shop here save your self a lot of trouble.

I am very disappointed from costumer service! I can't believe what they thought my and how they can speak with costumer! Please if someone cares call my back! I was very surprised after everything good I rode and recommend your side! That wot s happen is very very bed! I don't be stopping rating until someone contact with me!

Carid does not honor it's advertising! Beware! FALSE ADVERTISERS! Do not use this site. Carid refuses to send ALL parts in the package description and still refuses to taken action to remedy the situation! If you like throwing your money away give it to a foreign country!

I purchased mats and custom seat covers in the last week of November as a Christmas gift. They just arrived January 11. The company didn't notify me on ordering it takes almost 8 weeks to send them out. When I asked them around a week before Christmas they didn't care in the slightest that my husband wouldn't have his gift to open. They offered me a ten dollar gift card to use on their site which didn't help in the slightest. I also got dinged $125 in customs charges and UPS were the absolute worst delivery company ever they have a local depot open 3 hours a day Monday to Friday only, at times when I work and they never left cards when they attempted to deliver. End result my husband had to go collect his own late Christmas gift AND pay over a hundred bucks for the privilege. Not worth the money at all.

So i order my product and after i paid. They told me it would be a month before it would ship out. Ok. Not something I had to have right away. Well a month goes by and still hasn't shipped. I call. They said they would let me know within 48 hours. Guess what. They did not. I call to cancel and no there tell me. They may not be able to cancel my order and have no idea when i will get it. So it this point. They just stole my money.

Well first thing I ordered my headlights for my car in November 2014. A Christmas present and the website said in stock, but a few days later I get an email stating estimated ship date is January 5,2015. No explanation of why because according to the website they were still in stock! Then it was changed to 1/7/15 and I tried ordering a different pair same style different price. They too had the same in stock availability but could not be shipped any time soon. Well 1/7/15 came and went no change in order status. So I once again tried to contact the customer service reps to ask about my order. The only way I got a live person was by choosing the sales option on their automated line. The guy was nice and cheerful until I told him I wanted to cancel my order. He placed me on hold for at least15 minutes, but I got my order canceled but no word or confirmation on when and if I will get my money back! Save your money and time and skip these jerks at carid.com

Go on the website and buy what you want spending a bunch of money and what they sell you doesn't go to the vehicle bunch of bull$#*! I say! They are complete scammers I would never recommend or by anything from them ever (They suck!).!

They carry quality products at competitive prices. My purchase was pleasurable and the Customer Representative was very knowledgeable and helpful with ideas. I would definetly return and I recommend them. I normally dont give 5 stars but the earned it.

I sure wish i found this first. I ordered two items, both were send tirectly to my mechanic, he was delayed in installing and found therey were the inccorect parts and much like everyone else here there is no option for return.

Tip for consumers:
Check for another site first, that has a decent return or exchange policy, if there is notheing else, then check your parts ASAP so you dont get stuck.

Purchased a Dorman drive shaft on 3/6/21 and within a few days received the shipping confirmation and tracking number. After several days of monitoring I noticed the tracking was not changing. After many calls to CarID and about 1 month of time I realized I was never getting the product and requested a credit to my card which they basically refused saying they needed to file a missing product claim (not my problem). Still fitting for a credit of about $450 for a product I will never receive. Stay away from CarID!

Beware. If you DO have to call them you will be dealing with off shore (I think) support team. But the on hold music and the IDIOTIC "funny" guy recording is like torture.

Ordered a set of wheels that were said to be in stock. Card was charged, but got a "backorder" email and "Estimated Delivery date" about one month in the future. Turns out that this is just a date they pull out of their $#*! for them to check in with the manufacturer to see if it's available yet. The date is based on NO USEFUL DATA. They are just putting you off for a month.

So.
1) You can't trust that they have stuff in stock
2) You can't trust their deliver estimates
3) If you have to call them, expect a 20 minute on hold experience.

Worst company I have dealt with in a long time.

I ordered a set of pretty well discounted wheels on 11/28/19. On 12/16/19 they notified me that they had no more of them in stock. I asked if they could ship me a similar set at the same price or that same set in a different size and they refused. Instead they tried to up sell me. Then on 12/31/19 without notifying me they refunded me and stopped replying to my emails.
