The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
Ordered a chrome grille overlay for my wife's 2012 Chevy Equinox LTZ, grille shipped the next day and arrived 2 days later! The fit was spot on aswell, couldn't be happier. Will be a returning customer for sure. Thank you CARid.
Ordered sill plates for a 2008 Cadillac SRX. Web photo looked great. Just received 4 narrow pieces (1 5/8) of Stainless Steel with 3-M backing. No instructions, no printout of installation and not even close to my stock sills. Yep, should have read the reviews first. BUYER BEWARE. Took this one up the a. If there was a rating less than 1 star, thats where I would rate this ripoff outfit!
I looked up a variety of websites last week and gave several a call. I checked a DashMat on the phone from CARiD.com(I presume after looking at pics of you)a young lady named Lisa whom was very helpful, patient, pleasing to work with, and had good product knowledge. I also needed more info on seat covers to investigate and review. Once I have digested and checked other reviews, I'll call back (probably this P.M.) and order the items I need. It's very important to me to have the proper info as I hate the process of sending things back and I want a good product and working relationship with as few places to deal with as possible and a continued relationship with a representative that is familiar with me, my auto, and my circumstances as to not repeat myself and expedite the sale not only for myself but for Lisa also as I'm not the only customer out there. I'm an older guy who hasn't bought a new car for a long time. I have very limited knowledge, so I need people like Lisa... Thanks!
Requested return of fog light online for Car ID on 8/6/17. Followed up with call on 8/7/17. Told would receive return shipping label in 24-72 hours. 8/10/17 still no label and run around when I call. Company will not allow me to speak to a manager and is aksing for additional time to just email a freakin shipping label. Would NEVER purchase from this company again.

This company and their customer service is absolutely horrible I wish I could give less then 0 stars. I ordered and paid $1,049.11 for this product one month ago and 2 of the 4 products came damaged. I contacted the customer service center by phone and email multiple times and I contacted the person who helped me make the purchase (Jarred, extension 8178) and nobody has even contacted me back for the replacement, I waited over a month for the replacement and I got fed up and called them back and said I want to return my purchase for a full refund back and I still have gotten no response from them to replace or refund my money back. I advise everyone to not waste their time and money with this company, I wish I read the reviews before I made a purchase because it really Is true how bad their customer service is and the pictures speak for them selves on the damages you receive with your order.

Their whole website is very well laid and and easy to use which is amazing! Another thing I really like is their guaranteed fitment for their products. So far Ive been very impressed by how well everything is done!
I ordered wheels and tires for an old sports car. They came in as promised, but they didn't fit. They were "guaranteed" to fit. I emailed them back to see what they were going to do. Nothing. They are doing nothing about it. I have wheels and tires that don't fit my car. I paid for brand new wheels and tires from a company that "guaranteed" them to fit. My customer service reps name is Bradley Vosper. He keeps sending me the same email over and over again. Don't believe anything that they say. This place is a fraud and I will never buy anything from them again.

I recently purchased a set of wheels from carid, when they arrived I had them mounted only to find out 2 of them were warped. I called the company with the report form tires plus that the wheels were defective. They told me I had to go back and have the wheels measured again at the tire place that I would have to pay for just to see if the company would warranty them. Plus I would have to pay for the shipping back if they could do anything at all. The customer service representative was rude and unhelpful and the manager was dismissive. This company is terrible I would not recommend doing business with them.

Car ID really sucks I had a bad experience in Nov 2016 with parts taking close to a month to receive and then opened package part damaged, 10 days for a refund. Fast forward I said what the heck let me give them another shot. On Monday March 20,2017. I placed my order over the phone with Rep on one condition that I receive my products by the end of week, I promise your parts will be their. 2 days later no tracking number I call CarID again no worries you will have tracking no later then Thursday your parts are on the way. I called Thursday because I desperately need these parts, rep picks up call sorry Sir that item is no longer available. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Stay away it appears they don't have any parts in hand, they take your money and then deal with manufacturer to get the parts out to you sounds like Drop Shipping to me. Definitely stay away. Garbage.

I purchased some air intakes for my nissan 350z, after they didn't fit I tried to return them and it took over a month to hear anything back. After I heard back they said they will put the refund back on to a card I don't have possession of anymore. I told them not to make the refund and they told me it was too late and that I'm now $300 out of luck with "nothing they can do". I have spent over $2,500 with this company and I will not spend another dime. I highly suggest not making your car purchases here.

I ordered a hood for my car. Paid for the hood plus $150 shipping. Hood was shipped and arrived. The hood was junk. Warped and bent and full of chips. It was so bad the body shop refused to paint it or put it on my car. CarID's web site has a 30 day no questions asked easy return policy. Unfortunately they are full of it. The web site gave me an error when I tried to create a return label and initiate the return. I called customer service and got a call center in India or Pakistan or some dirthole country. The operators made me jump thru hoops, even take photos of the hood I wanted to return. I got an email saying they would contact me in 2 business days. Well it's been 2 weeks and no contact!
So despite what their web site says about returns, they will NOT honor my return!

CARiD shipped the wrong hood and is taking way too long to correct. My vehicle is in the body shop waiting on them to commit to their wrong doing. The website is way cool and easy to use but evidently not accurate of when they order from the manufacturer. I have sent pictures three separate times now without anything from them of when the correct hood will be shipped. To me the customer is NOT important to them. I have about $10,000 more to spend and I will probably not use them moving forward.

They are selling products that. Even their help line can't even tell you if the parts exists. They do not stock these parts they rely on the manufacturer to stock the part. And they can't even tell you whether or not they even have it in stock then they charge you for shipping even though it could be up to 10 days or more before they eben get confirmation your order has been shipped.

1st I ordered neosupreme seat covers for my 2016 Subaru. They were perfect, as a matter of fact, people couldnt believe they were covers. So I ordered a set for the second row. I ordered Tan, and they arrived an off shade of greenish. Called the company, they said to send pictures which I did immediately. Waited a week and no response. Emailed the lady I had spoken with and she said she didn; t receive any pictures. Sent them again and waited. Finally called, got another guy that said they were waiting to hear from the company that made the covers. Said I should know in 2 days. Waited a week, called again, got another lady. She said the company wanted another picture. Sent that immediately. Still waiting to hear if they even opened my email. Not getting very good customer service.

As a point for me to be serviced as quickly and efficiently as possible, I try to ask very specific questions and expect very specific answers. I got exactly what I asked. Amanda was 'on point' with helping me determine the Running Boards I wanted to buy for my truck. She was "right to the point", professional, polite, and patient. The pleasure was all mine. I plan to frequent CarID 'on the regular basis' for all my truck needs. In addition, I 'surfed' other MAJOR sites for the same Running Boards, but, to no avail. CarID had what I wanted, and the price was 'on the money'. No pun intended.
So I have redone a few cars in my life. I found Carid.com and thought, "wow, these guys have it all". Well they do. Except it's mostly junk. Total junk. I ordered seats, fenders, hood and more. And guess what... NONE OF IT FITS! The fenders have a huge gap and poorly shaped. No way to actually attach them. The hood has holes drilled in it... IN THE WRONG PLACE! The seats fit inside but the mounting hardware I "had to have" does nothing! I spent over $1k on this stuff and I get junk. I plan on calling the credit card company and letting them know I won't pay for it. They can deal with them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They rip you off!
On 4/15/2019 I ordered a set of Coverking seat covers. Long story short, Coverking and CARiD blamed me for either not reading the description completely or faulty installation. After countless emails with both Coverking and CARiD it was arranged that I was to get a full refund. Minutes later I get another email telling me that shipping and handling would be deducted from my refund. I'll never do business with CARiD ever. What should have been a simple return and refund has turned into nightmare. I guess I'm stuck with a crappy looking set of seat covers from Coverking that was purchased from a ripoff company called CARiD.
It's a shame I can't post negative stars. They don't deserve a one star rating.
