The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
I ordered a set of 08 g35 sedan headlights. Hey arrived on time however after installing them they did not fit in the bumper properly. I did some research and found the headlights were for a 2010+ g37. I contacted CARID and told them about the issue to which the said they would contact the manufacturer. A week later I got a response stating they were the correct headlights. I can personally guarantee they are not the right lights having installed them and looked at the discrepancy myself. Selling incorrect products to customers and telling them they are wrong... good business model
Honestly, at first i was always buying from auto parts stores like Autozone and Advance Auto Parts, but the frustrating part was not finding the right help, all the parts i needed/need, AND at a good price. With Carid not only did i find good pricing and all the parts i needed/need but the best part is seeing known brands like Tein and other well known performance parts. Not to mention customer service and timing was always on point. I already recommended others to Carid and they're just as satisfied. If your thinking about trying Carid out, please do. You can speak to David, which is the guy i speak too. Have a good one guys and enjoy.

As many reviewers have noted before, the prices for shipping are most outrageous, but this is only half of the shipping issues.
Items will frequently be marked as "in stock" only for you to receive an email after half your order ships, stating that it will be an indeterminate amount of time before the remaining "in stock" items ship. If I would have known that, I would have canceled the whole order.
When they do ship your order, you might find that not everything that should be in there is. When you call their (outsourced to India) customer service, you get very poor service, and then they want you to send them a whole bunch of information, including pictures of the issue. Hey idiots, how am I supposed to send you a picture of the stuff that didn't come, you just want a picture of the void where it should be?

Terrible company worst customer service ever. This company doesn't even try. They sent me a used cassette toilet for my camper that smelled of urine. It was so bad UPS person warned us. So bad that it would be impossible for the person in shipping not to notice the smell. Now that I'm reading their reviews, I see this is just who they are. Management is aware of all the complaints, so the problem starts with Antonino Ciappina, the CEO, and runs straight down to the person in shipping and all the rude people in customer service.

I purchased some headlight assemblies last month and received them about 10 days ago. They were not the same assembly I ordered nor do they match the part the email stated I purchased. I have been asking for a return the last 10 days and have not been allowed to. They take up to 72hrs to respond so I am now 4 replies deep with customer service working with their technician to figure out why the headlights are the wrong ones. Honestly I don't care why they don't fit my car, they're not the ones I purchased. If I am still denied a return today I will have to contact my credit card and pray they will delete the charge from this bull$#*! company. Don't put faith in their reviews or if you contact them prior to purchasing and are assured they are the correct assembly for your car

Id ordered an $800 cargo carrier for the top of my car. Waiting weeks for delivery and tracking information was never updated, only "pending". After three calls, I learned the carrier returned the parcel as undeliverable, claiming they "called" to schedule delivery. Oddly I work from home and never once received a call to schedule delivery nor were those details included when I ordered. CarID refused to refund the $185 for shipping, even though i as never contacted and worse off, they assessed a $185 "return fee", which again was never listed during the purchase process. Of the $800 I paid, CarID refused to refund more than $350 of the purchase. NEVER AGAIN!

Would not recommend CARid. We are on our 4th try to get the correct and non damage wheels. At this point we have 3 good wheels, one scratched and one replacement that does not match the other 3 wheels. Now they are saying that we have to wait for RMA shipping labels before they send the correct 4th wheel. It has taken over three weeks to get to this point and we still do not have a matching 4 wheel set. Do not recommend CARID

Manager calls me a racist when I asked if she was located in the US... like if I wanted to speak to an American we only have one race. She still had no reason why after I paid for items in my cart it added an item I didn't order that was for a Nissan truck and not my Toyota Camry! I called to delete the non ordered item within five minutes and two days later i'm told the stop request wasn't processed in time and I may have to ship the item I didn't even order back and wait for my refund. I will never order anything from this terrible company again!

I purchased something from this company, and paid for it and also payed for shipping. One week later they sent me an email telling me I owed them $211 additional shipping cost. I told them there must be some mistake they told me you either pay the $211 or canceling your order. They did not try to help me at all. I contacted the manufacturer where the top was being made because it was a special order, I ask them for the size and weight of the package they will be sending it in. I then contact UPS with the addresses and got rates from them. UPS told me it would cost $32.34. When I called car ID back they told me that the shipping cost was $221 total. They would do nothing to help me or to find out why the shipping cost was that much. Do not purchase from this company because if something goes wrong they will not help you

Was looking at some lights ruben hooked me up and now im hooked for life. I am definetly buying all of my parts from this website from now on. It also helps me find parts that i can not find else where.
Ordered parts for vehicle. Items do not fit and they are duplicates. Smh. U are unable to get ur money back. POINT. BLANK. PERIOD. So now ur stuck with parts u have absolutely no use for. Bad Business that's what they are
We have ordered on several different occasions without any issues what so ever. Products have always been shipped in a timely fashion and products have always been in perfect shape. Looking forward to finally being able to install our WeatherTech window deflectors.
I called to ask questions about a set of rims. Ashley informed me that she would she would have to call the manufacturer in order to get the right answers, and that she would call me on Monday. To my surprise, when Monday came, Ashley did follow thru. Ashley is a asset to your company!
Charged me for my order before it was correct. Talked to multiple different people to get fixed and was on hold for thirty minutes everytime only to get transfered to someone else. I would not recomend carid to anyone. Terrible customer service.

Absolutely ridiculous! Worst experience ever... I went back and forth with them on live chat 8 times, no exaggerations. Cancelled the part because it was on back order and they still shipped it a week after it was cancelled then it was already on the way.

I purchased my dream car a 2016 Dodge challenger. I wanted to put the red caliper covers on to dress it up a little so I shopped around and decided to make my purchase at Carid. After verifying the part order with my dealer I placed my order. Upon receipt I found that I had the wrong item because of the wrong information provided by to dealer. I contacted Carid for a return and spoke to Antonio about what happened. He was as disappointed as I was that I had the wrong part. He took care of the problem and couldn't apologize enough even though it was not their fault. I like that there are still people out there that provide great service. Thanks Antonio.

Ordered 3 things over a month ago. Car id shipped them with a "unknown shipper" what does that mean?!? They shipped it shouldn't they know with who... anyway ordered a month ago and every item was shipped separately between the 21 of July to the 5 of august. And I ordered on the 1st of July. I've been hounding them with emails and live chats but have never gotten a straight answer as to what I've been asking. I don't want anyone else to order from this site because it's just plain terrible. 9th of august still no sign of any of the items

I needed to return a product ordered. I spoke with Wendy who very quickly processed my return and even waived the return fee. She didn't waste anytime with questions and was very pleasant. I felt very comfortable speaking with her.
One of their customer service members was able to help me. I am happy she took the time to help me out. I just wish their customer service was open more during the weekend. That would be my only critique.
Tried calling 30 minutes after cancelling the order. They were not open.
I had emailed with someone over the weekend and he said I would have to call on Monday to cancel. Called on Monday at 8:00 AM CST, right as they open and they will not cancel. Awful shipping prices too.
Or over the hood for a 98 Tahoe got a 98 s10 Chevy pickup Hood Cal Induction 2 inch black they told me it will cost me $99 to send it back I think its b******* that I will pay the shipping to send it back when they messed up on the order is www.carid.com they suck
I needed new headlights for my Jetta so I contacted Carid and they suggested a pair in my price range. I asked lots of questions because there being shipped to Canada and I was assured they where. So I ordered them.
They arrive and I payed brokerage fees on my lights which I understood. I open the box and they are not the right ones for my car! Great. So I send them back then a few days later I get an email stating they found the right ones for my car... I asked are you sure, and they replied yes. So I ordered them and when I received them they were the exact same ones I sent back...
Now Ive paid brokerage fees twice and there company policy is not to reimburse for international shipping. Ive argued with them for months and nothing has been resolved.
