“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Customer service is worthless. All they say is wait 24-48 hours for the manufacture's response. A month later no item, they refuse to cancel my order, and told me to wait 10 business days for an update. Yeah right! I HAVE BEEN WAITING A MONTH! They won't get my business again! I reported them to my credit card's fraud department.

I found just the car seat covers I wanted. I tried placing an order using my credit card. My credit card company says the charge was approved, and my credit card account was debited. Car-Id, on the other hand, said my card was declined and no order was placed. I tried it again the next day using a different credit card, different computer, different browser. SAME RESULT, card was charged but Car-ID says it was declined. After being on hold for an interminable period, I hung up. They called me back later to tell me they don't take credit cards, only PayPal.

Please accept my apologize for confuting situation which occurred with your potential purchase. Your account was never charged for the purchase you did not make. The payment did not go through for some security reasons. When you submitted the order, the amount was authorized. This means that the funds were put on hold since the payment verification needed to be done. The verification is required to protect you and all other people from frauds attacks which are not rare today.

Unfortunately, the verification failed and the authorization was reversed. Sometimes it takes up to 3-5 business days for the bank to release hold. Please check this information with your bank.

To avoid such situations in future, we recommend to use a Pay Pal account or Wire Transfer.

We truly hope for your understanding and believe that such unfortunates will never happen to you in future. We also would love to retrieve your trust and would like to offer a Gift Card with no expiration date as an apology.

I ordered an $800 T top conversion for my jeep wrangler. What was delivered was an $80 lock box that goes under the driver seat. I had to ship it back before they would ship the correct item. Then they shipped the correct item and it was damaged. I had to send that back. I received 2 email notifications stating that my item was going to be shipped on Monday. That Monday I get a phone call from one of their representatives saying that Best Top quit making Item. Then I get an email telling me that per my request they cancelled my order and they are refunding my money. Me being me, I had to clarify they canceled my order because it was no longer available. I went to Xtreme Wrangler's website order the top it was shipped the next day in perfect condition. Do not waste your time or money, you cannot even get a hold of a representative. And they lied saying that the top was no longer available

Ordered Spyder LED Headlights and when I received them, one had no bulb retainer. Called and was given the usual run around. No refund, part no longer available, there's nothing we can do. Told them them that they had sent me a product that wasn't complete for $240. They told me there was nothing they could do. I'll never buy anything from carid, onyx, or Spyder again.

Bought a rear diffuser on May 15. They said it will be shipped out 31st. Then they said 4th. Then 5th. Then 11th. Every time I call oh we will send you an email on the process tomorrow I dont get why the $#*! it takes more then a month to make a product and ship it. Worse place I will never buy from this website again

I order a set of rims, wheel and locks it took them 3 weeks to ship to me and another week for me to receive them on top of that they came back all dirty.one of the wheels have a slow leak. Charge me for locks I never receive and now they said that I don't need them so why charge me for the locks.it's has been a nightmare with this company. I will not recommend them to no one - 0stars

I had a self inflicted issue which was resolved quickly and without any pain. I ordered an exhaust and muffler and Carid shipped both without anything to protect it during shipping. Shockingly they both showed up damaged. I have ordered an exhaust from other place for a different vehicle and they packaged it in a fashion to prevent any damage or movement inside the box during transportation. With how much I spent in shipping and handling it should not be that hard for them to package these so that they could be usable but instead have to turn around and pick them back up and resend a replacement. Just a smidge of effort would have been nice.

I ordered a mach 2 style hood and paid $420.94. I received this hood damaged. So obviously I sent it back and did a charge-back to get my money back. I lost the dispute and asked for CarID to ship the item I paid for back to me. They responded saying that they had disposed of my item that i paid for. CarID is a terrible company with TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT order from them because this just my happen to you too.

Good luck ever trying to get ahold of them. They will not call you back. They will not return your emails. Update: trying to get a refund for a set of headlights they sold me that were sold out. Waited on hold for 1 hour and 10 minutes before they answered my call only to put me on hold once again. Do not recommend at all.

Just avoid these guys and save yourself your valuable time band money.

I was looking for a roof basket for my Jeep, found the one I wanted on their site and it clearly indicated "InStock". This was my first purchase from carid.com and to make sure it was indeed in stock I called and spoke with a rep. The guy told me "Yep, we have them in stock and ready to ship", I immediately placed my order and was told it would ship in 24-48 hrs. 48 hrs came and went, called them back and was told " Sorry, that item is on backorder with no known eta"

What a joke, it took them 2 days to process the refund and another 4 days for the charges to be reversed on my credit card.

What a Hassel!

I got a brand new car (2017) and I was having problems finding a bike rack that would fit. I spoke with Monica and she was doing her very best to assist me. After about 5-10 minutes of searching and sending me links, I decided that I needed to do more research. So, I hung up and did more research but came back to CARiD to make the final purchase. After spending the time with me, I really felt Monica wanted me to have the right solution, not just one that would make her (or CARiD) more money. Because of that attitude, I came back to give my business to CARiD.

First order was placed on 4/08/2021 and order was delivered to wrong address. Finally received that order. Secord order that was placed on May 2nd, still have not received. Every time I call you get some other answer as to what is going on. Like, the UPS truck has no room for you order. Bull$#*! -- UPS trucks have plenty of room. It is now May 14th and still nothing and still no update on tracking numbers from company; tracking only says a label has been created since May 3rd. The customer service people are rude and can't help; they just say check back in 24-48 hours for an update. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Next step is to get a lawyer involved? Highly ticked off!

Bought an HPS Silicone Air Intake for a 2015 Honda Civic Si and it was delivered free and fast. The representative was professional and gave me a discount on the product all while processing my order over the phone. Definitely going to buy more parts from this website.

I placed an order and at checkout it showed 0 for shipping i fiinished placing the order and all of a sudden it was a $10 charge for shipping after the order was placed which was more than the product that I was purchasing. I went on their website and there's no place to cancel the order keep in mind this is all within 10 minutes of placing the order I was told they would cancel the order but it was already scheduled to be shipped the following day and said the cancellation process takes three days. They try to bribe you with a gift card at first to keep the order but if this is the way they want to do business I wish them well. Shame on me once shame on you twice. I'm not saying don't do business with them just be very careful

I'd have to say, I'm pretty discouraged with this company and their vendor (Carbon Creations)! I bought a Carbon Fiber hood that was nearly $1000 for my Mini Cooper that was listed as OEM style, but the headlight rings would not attach because the guide holes were off and even missing holes, which made the hood look very awkward as each headlight spot is recessed and cutout to receive the headlight rings. The hood also wasn't pre-drilled for the stock OEM guides or the windshield water tubing. So after 3 attempts of contacting Carid and over a week later, and the hood already being on, are telling me that the only option is sending it back and waiting on another…. Once they get a return authorization from the vender. None of this even takes into consideration the carbon fiber separations in the finish, or the bubbles in the clear coat.

Due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Duraflex products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other bodywork. We highly recommend that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation.

Lumen® - Black/Smoke LED 3rd Brake Light Item - came to me in used condition. I was told on saturday that a new would be sent on Monday. I called on Tuesday to get a tracking # and was told that it as not been shipped yet. They wanted a photo sent of the box, a photo of the light, my vin number and an explanation of the damages. I returned the light and order from a different company. Very poor customer service.

Received a refurbed pump timely,returned my core to get deposit back,issue part sent had bent pulley sent back with photos no issue,then replied we no longer have stock and refunded my money. However when i requested my original core back trouble started they keep stating i was paid back but all they did was refund the deposit i paid them no compensation for the core they kept,i contacted their supplier and they showed me the refund of my core and the bad core however they are keeping those funds and refuse to compensate me for the core they kept so i now have no core to return to rock auto who has been awesome to deal with.Please avoid these folks they are terrible.

I ordered a grill emblem for my Mercedes. The one they sent did not fit. I called and asked for an exchange. They said that I had to send pictures of what they sent. I sent three pictures. Then they wanted my VIN, which I provided. Then they said they needed a picture of the original. If I had the original, why would I buy a new one? Then they wanted a picture showing that the one they sent did not fit. How do I do that?

This company is garbage. It takes too long to ship product out. And when u call for eta your put on hold for 30min to hr. It's almost as if your ordering from china. This is crazy. I ordered hardware. And the operator tells me they are manufacturing them? Hardware isn't a part its screws and nails and thing of that sort. The delivery dates are miss leading. Will never order from them again and recommend everyone else go to eBay or anywhere else to get there "products". I'm still on hold as type this little note. It's rediculous. Never again. Never never never never never!#!#

Worried with the rep. Appreciated the information and easy link to assure I purchased the part we needed. Didn't expect the cost of the bulb to be that high and the shipping to be that expensive for regular shipping a light bulb. Ridiculous.

I was looking for brighter headlight bulbs for my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. Was told a set of Putco bulbs would fit my vehicle. I purchased them. I have since went to several websites that say they will NOT fit including the Putco website. I have had several chat sessions with Carid agents. All they ask for is pictures of what's broke. I've told them I haven't even opened them because the Putco website says they will NOT fit. So I sent them my VIN and the part number and am waiting for their answer. All I want is my money back and not have to pay the $17.00 fee for returning. It is not my fault I was given the wrong information and I should not have to pay any fee's.
Sept 23,2016. After being contacted by Carid, I received a full refund of my purchase after returning the headlight bulbs. Thank you to Greg at Carid for working with me.

Ordered a dash kit on 5/23, said it would ship on 6/28, it did not. Called Carid after I did not get a shipping conformation, they said they called the manufacturer and there was a delay, which is fine, but they could have let me know. New ship date was 7/09, did not receive an order conformation, called carid AGAIN, every time I speak with customer service they say they cannot get ahold of the manufacturer! Really?
So, nobody has a clue as to the status of my order. Guess I just donated $250.00 to Carid. Never again!
