“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Placed order June 12 for 4 chrome-clad wheels; SEVEN wheels later and I only have THREE good ones. Three arrived damaged and one was the wrong one! Poorly packaged-no bubble wrap or styrofoam-just placed in box and taped closed. No "handle with care" or "fragile" labels either. It is now Aug. 17 and still waiting for fourth good wheel! Customer service is powerless to alter shipping procedures- they are middlemen only. They just keep sending wheels and I keep sending them back. I am getting to know my UPS driver quite well! Absolutely ridiculous and easily prevented with 50 cents worth of packing materials and some stickers! Order# *******

Received front bumper and rear spoiler had nicks and Scratches were poor quality went to three different body shops for installation none would install because of poor quality. Contacted CARID told me to call yellow freight and submit a claim did so yellow freight denied. Shipping cost to return product is more than products even worth. I do not recommend purchasing any products from this company.

Due to the peculiarities of a freight shipment, the part has to be inspected upon delivery and signed as damaged if any harm is located. Only in these cases, we on our end are able to submit the damage claim and proceed with either refund or replacement for you without any complications. If the damage was located afterwards, the only way to sign the package as damaged and to process the damage claim - is to ask the Freight Shipping Carrier to mark the package as damaged in their system.

We want all consumers to know that there will always be minor sanding, shaving, cutting, and/or filling prior to installing Extreme Dimensions parts. Also, It is recommended that the part be installed by a professional body shop that has experience working with aftermarket fiberglass. Extra fees may be incurred for proper fitment.

I have found Carid.com to be a wonderful source of auto parts especially for my 37 year old classic Cadillac. Their prices are amazing with fast shipping. The customer service is top notch spoke with a representative named Mauricio and he was very helpful and quickly met all my needs. I give Carid.com a big Five Star rating.

Ruben took the time out of his shift to not only personally look up each part item we had questions on, but he also heard what we were looking for and helped us by suggesting parts as well. He was very kind and courteous and helpful. I highly recommend his service to anyone.

Horrible process. Ordered 5 part over the phone after verifying stock on hand online. Only reason I called was to make sure based on my vin number the parts are correct.
13 days later + 6 phone call later only 1 part I have received and 1 part is in transit and 3 parts not even processed to be shipped.
No email or phone call saying why parts not processed or anything.
Call the rep and they can't tell you much as they don't know when the DC will ship out.
I am shocked with such poor customers service, and lack of technology to track inventory and shipment by CARID. We are in the 21st century. This reminds me of the mid 1990 when we were just starting to order thing online.
The worst worst worst experience ever. My car is In the shop now for 2 weeks as I thought ordering through cardid I would save a few dollars. I

Call day after placing order and the day after again. Your order will be in la la land if you don’t and you would have paid already.

Products used:
Only slave cylinder that arrived in 6 days. The rest cancelled It was taking over 10-30 days to arrive to my address in Chicago.

Do not buy this product, 4 months and one bulb burns out, factory lights are brighter, they cast an annoying shadow on the horizon from low beams. Customer service is the worst, say they will get back to me. 2 months later nothing yet.
Run as far away from this company as you can.

Ordered a an AC line, arrived quickly, didn't get a chance to replace it until 30 days had passed. Turns out it's the wrong part, looks right, their system says it's correct, but it is for a different engine, same truck. Now I'm out $53.00 and stuck with a useless part that they won't exchange because it's over 30 days since purchase. Avoid these clowns, crappy customer service even when they screw up.

I'll never order from this company again, ever. I had an order open since October, its now mid December. They kept pushing the order date out. I selected another in-stock item, and then I continued to get delay notifications even though it was in-stock.

I called in to get assistance and the CSR Jorje literally screamed over me half of the phone call while i was begging him for some kind of help. He just kept yelling.

False advertising and bad customer service. Avoid like the plague. I've never dealt with such a horrible company in my entire life.

AVOID IT!

Editing a previous review. What I thought was going to be a good experience turned into quite the opposite. Stay away from these guys unless you like spending hours on the phone trying to find out where your product is at. They will not allow you to cancel either.

Tip for consumers:
Buyer Beware read every word of every email prior to agreeing to purchase something. Literally everything is "custom made" therefore non-refundable/returnable, nor can the order be cancelled prior to it shipping WEEKS after they say it will.

Its obvious they have hired people or got their own staff to write a bunch of fake 5 star reviews. Take a look at each 5 star review and note the picture that is used to identify the reviewer, they all look the same with pics of animals etc.

I for one have had a terrible experience with CARid, their policies and customer service protocols have been troublesome for sure. Its been 4 months now that I've been dealing with them on trying to return some side skirts for my mustang. They were pure crap and they have stalled and given every excuse in the book before allowing me to return them. I am out over $400 and ready to launch a small claims law suit if they don't get their act together soon.

These guys suck. Corporate run around and no one wants to help the people buying stuff from them. They didn't have my part even though their website said they did and literally threw another set of leaf springs and shipped it to me. After 2 hours on the phone with these A-holes they tried to say they did me a favor by giving me higher lift springs. I guess the $1000 dollars or so of extra parts i'd have to buy to use them don't come into effect in their $#*!ed minds. It took over a month to get something that worked and they charged me for the more expensive springs still. Total $#*! holes. Never again.

Great customer service... once a negative review was placed. Really wished they would put the same effort into solving issues when they occur, rather than just focusing on the people who take the time to go to a third party site to leave a bad review. Don't get me wrong, really glad i got the issue resolved and too be honest, by some really good representatives who checked up on issues. It just seems weird that most people on this site (including myself) see night and day difference in customer service treatment once the reputation of the company is at stake. Hope next time i am treated this well from my initial problem.

Promised a Core return, never provided the measures to Return it

So I ordered a Rack and Pinion Assemble back in late July, which cost me $300, plus $50 shipping, plus a $150 Core charge. Good price since I'm going to get my $150 core deposit back after I return with the provided return shipping label... Well, after receiving the Rack and pinion assembly on August 10th, I installed it, tested it, and everything worked fine. So naturally I went to return my core. I noticed I never received the shipping label, which was promised, so i emailed customer service for my return label, waited a week thinking Covid was causing delays, but never got a response. Decided to then chat with a Rep and was told that he resent it, and I would receive one in a few days. Get the email a few days later. Return authorization form, but no shipping label. Again decide to chat with a Rep, This time I'm told that because I live outside of continental U. S, Carid wont provide a return label... You mean all the times it was mentioned in the description of my the product that I would receive a return label, all the emails I received telling me to send it with the "provided shipping label", even your own rep telling me they resent it, was wrong. That I was somehow supposed to research your return policy and check that if i live outside continental US, i would have to pay for it myself, and that the normal(unsatisfied) return policy, applies to core returns? YUP Its my fault for letting myself go with the info I was provided in my order and emailed, and not do further research to search for contradictions. Ok I'm not gonna argue with you, just send me the return address so i can return the Rack and pinion and hopefully make $20($150-shipping cost) back out of the original $150 I was promised... "you should receive it in 2-3 business days". Its been 3 weeks... I'm done talking to these guys, its been over a month so I doubt the manufacturer will accept my core. I've kissed my $150 core charge goodbye, gonna see if my bank can do something since I feel like I was scammed. Save yourselves the headache guys. Spend the extra money and get some quality customer service, and a business that accepts their mistakes.

Don't make the same mistake I did. They just plain suck. Promise a ship date and then have no clue where your order is for weeks and then want you to pay for the return if the item ever does show up. Absolute worst online experience of my life.

I have been looking for Seat covers for my 2004 Ford F-150 for several years. Because this is the first year this model came, out not even Ford could get it right. After three attempts with three different companies I kind of gave up hope and resigned myself to having paying a huge price for professional shop to custom make them. Well, one day I saw an ad from CARiD and called. Aaron is who I reached. He was very patient, and informative with me, an old skeptic. He walked me through the process and I ordered a set of covers. They are perfect. Thank you Aaron.

CarID claimed that my wheels were mounted and shipped back to them damaged. Without providing any pictures or artifacts, they are claiming that someone had repainted the wheels with a marker. Seriously inappropriate response. The wheels never were removed from their original ship packaging or mounted. For refund purpose, CarID instructed me to send them tons of photos in which were sent. After about a month of back and forth with their front end support team, no response from anyone in management, and just trying to get my refund on these wheels, I will now have to the extreme route of bringing in the Better Business Bureau and a lawyer. Unbelievable.

CarID is horrible with refunds

Ordered from this website because it was a few dollars cheaper than rock auto and autozone. It seemed like I would get my part in time. It's been two days since the "estimated shipping date". I have yet to receive a tracking number. Customer service is unable to provide me with any information, they said give them 48 "business hours" to find out what's happening. I told them I want to cancel but guess what, but they're going to charge me fees for restocking. Thanks for punishing me CarID. They have me by the balls here. I can't afford to pay restocking fees and buy the same part. After reading the reviews, I see that it was a mistake. Now I'm going to have to spend extra money on Uber while my car is inoperable. This is becoming a wildly expensive mistake.

Do not buy from unless they have in stock got run around for month on dash kit was given 4 ship dates each time date not met they claim to have called supplier and would add a week which kept repeating based on responses they have no clue on getting accurate information from their supplier poor customer care can't imagine buying from them plenty others firms that deliver on time or with proper followup

Horrible customer service. Paid a lot of money for 4 rims, 2 were damaged upon receipt. They insist damaged during transport but not possible. Had to fight with reps to reorder to get timely, and still not delivered on time. Seriously the worst.

I ordered headlights that should not even be on the market - the light is so bad I can not even drive at night. I've been back and forth with them over 2 months sending photos, adjusting the light and everything else. I'm so tired of dealing with them I finally gave up. When I ask to be able to leave a review on that particular product so someone else does not make the mistake of purchasing those lights they denied me. Basically, their custom service sucks & they could care less that some off the products they are selling are crap. I would definitely take your business elsewhere if your concerned with good customer service. I cant believe they do business like this..

Ordered a pair of strut assemblies. Got online chat help in selecting which ones to buy, order received as promised, great price. Ended up needing a pair of sweat bar links to go with the struts. Again, excellent support via chat, great price. Monica even went so far as emailing the manufacturer to get my question answered. I picked this outfit because they had one of the highest ratings on ResellerRatings.com, and they completely lived up to that reputation. My first online stop for all auto parts needs from now on.

I placed 2 orders the same day. 1 that was a painted rear spoiler, turnaround time was amazingly quick, and looks great on my car. The second order, did not come as planned, it was on back order from the manufacturer, no fault of Carid. They handled my situation, as all places should so but don't. We resolved my issue in one phone call, and am very pleased with the outcome. Can't wait to place more orders in the future.

Ordered front mats for a 2015 Honda Accord. Paid premium $70. Got mats with attached tags that say Chevrolet. Quality of the mats is worse than Walmart at three times the price. When I called to return and get credit, They said "This is a custom made mat. No returns." Worst product and worst customer service. These people lie and steal.

Very frustrating experience. Got incorrect parts and having great difficulty trying to return. They want me to pay again and reimburse me when they get the old parts which they can't seen to send me return authorization for. I never heard of this in 34 years buying parts for our shop. No one at CARiD seems to care about my problem as 9 emails and 11 phone calls haven't resolved this situation. I'm going to do a blast and stop payment on cc if it isn't resolved soon.
