“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I bought a carbon fiber spoiler where it was damaged, the part took long time to get to me. So, I opened a claim with CARID along with UPS, but never got an update on my status. Contacted them 2 weeks later, and they told me that UPS closed the claim due to the fact I did not send the part to them. I sent the part and had a tracking number on it. Now, I think it is going to be so hard to get the part back. The other thing you have to be aware of is to check the package and see any damages and refuse to receive the item. UPS left the item on my door and did not even knock even though I was waiting for the item inside my house (UPS do not care about customer)-The package came to my door totally abused.

Called to make sure they had a part instock, after about 10 minutes, they came back and had the parts in hand. Placed the order and paid for overnight shipping. Checked the order today, and now it says they are backordered till Dec 26th. I called, and all I was told is sorry we are out of stock now. Very unacceptable.

This company has terrible Customer service and lied to me several time on status off product, don't trust them lied to me for 2 weeks then just cancel my order because they couldn't get the product, they lie, lie, lie just to get business. Would never use this company again. Beware and don't buy from they very untrustworthy.

Promised shipment within 2 days when order confirmed, but found out shipment date of 5 weeis out after credit card charged.

Who can wait 5 weeks for brake pads and rotors? Or most any carrepair part for that matter?

They should have never taken my order and given me s chance to go elsewhere for the part.

Was not notified of the delay either. After waiting 5 days I finally reviewed the tracking site provided to find out when or if they have or would arrive. 5 weeks until expected ship date people, 5 weeks!

Then had to call, but they should have called me, thier " customer service" to determine if anything could be done. I got through to thier 1st line staff who could not answer any questions so the asked to a Supervisor. I was connected to a Supervisor named Raka who was extremely rude, spoke to me with attitude, told me I was being antagonistic, and hung up on me

I ordered a REMIN dash kit from them. Do not buy one. The description says lasar exact fit. Every piece was smaller than the trim it was designed to cover. It looks terrible. I contacted CARiD Customer Service * and was basically told that they don't take opened returns.

I hope everyone has a helpful, polite and we spoken guy or girl to help them with their parts order. I was able to get parts for my 1954 oldsmobile 88, witch can be hard to find or over priced. I was able to order the parts I needed at a reasonable price, glad I called!

I was described a certain spoiler and I what I received was completely different! It was not a flush mount it stuck up it had these ridiculous wings and it was twice the size I wanted. When I tried to return the item promptly in the original packaging I got told five different things from five different people and the shipping label never came. I got a complete runaround and then they started telling me finally that I could return it but I had to pay the shipping even though I had manufacturer description of what I was supposed to get versus what I got! I gave them multiple pictures everything they requested and they still wouldn't accept the return and pay the shipping! This company is a joke! Their customer service is horrendous! Go elsewhere and save your money! Do not do business with this company!

Three orders that I had place with CarId were on back order when I called to get a status the representative stated that she would call me back, and we know how that usually goes, but to my surprise she called me back and assured me that they would be shipped by 12/9/17 and I received an email that they were shipped on 12/7/. Awesome customer service and the products that Carid sell is of good quality, worth that wait.

I bought a stainless steel muffler, flowmaster super 10 to be exact. Policy states if all stainless steel then it has a lifetime warranty as long as it is still placed on the 1st and very own vehicle ever installed which it has been. The last few years the rust is getting worse and worse. So I called them in July and we are now in August 27th, 2020 and they give me THE SAME EXCUSE "we will send the internal team another urgent message sir, just wait 24-48 hours" the internal team has to have like 20 urgent messages by now not they don't care 1 bit to help their customer out. I'm never shopping on carid

I ordered chrome mirror covers which were advertised as just clean area, use 3M tape and press in place.
What I received was mirror covers which required a complete disassembly and replacement with the new chrome mirror cover.
When I tried to explain the problem to the support personnel (Monica Turke) it became very clear that she had no Idea what see was doing or how to fix the mistake. After more than an hour they finally beat me into submission and I decided to trash the product and told them to stuff their refund where the sun does not shine. $60 is not going to change my life.
Do not do business with CARiD usless you enjoy confrontation.

Very bad experience! Will never try to buy anything from them again. The Wether Tech Deflector page said "in stock, ship in 1-2 days", I got 2 emails, weeks apart of dalay of shipping. When I finally got tired of waiting, called and cancelled. They agreed to refound me the full $55, but only gave me $35 because days later the product arrived and they shipped it to me anyway (their mistake), I've alredy purchased locally (by the way, cheaper) so I called FedEX and told them to return to sender. These guys are disorganised, and dishonest. Tried to talk to a Manager after this mes... you guessed it... busy.

Ordered HSE wheels on July 10th, informed me it would be 2-3 weeks for wheels and tires for Porsche 911 C4S. No problem. $7200 paid then but never heard to any follow-up, updates (all initiated by me). Not COVID problem. Then, no center caps nearly three months later, see pics below. No paperwork, warranty, care instructions, tires half-filled with air, a mess. Called numerous times, hours on hold just to talk to someone, then forwarded to another, more hours on hold. Asked for management constantly, no return calls treated very poorly. Management call, forget it. Get your wheels elsewhere like from HSE direct. Finally, HSE took care of it in 24. Hours after calling them direct. Center Caps cost over $100 alone, wheels look like junk without them.

Tip for consumers:
GO TO ANOTHER RETAILER, YOU HAVE A CHOICE ON ANYTHING THEY HAVE, SOMEONE ELSE HAS.

Products used:
Shipping time, they are not sure, told 2-3 weeks, was two to three months, but took payment of $7200 July 10th.
Wheels for Porsche 911 came and looked like a mess, you think someone at CARID could wipe them down, including the manufacturers (HRE) paperwork, and serial numbers. The bragged about Nitrous Oxide filling at no charge was about 20 pounds light per tire. Worst of all, no response or concern when you call about a problem, never a return call, never a call or ability to talk to management, who said through the first line caller they would not talk to me. Just a disaster, save yourself time, money, and hours on hold time get the same wheels somewhere else, there are other providers. Let my mistake be your resource of a bad operation.

I found CarID online and out was the best find ever! Real customer service is rare these days, not only do they have everything we need for our older vehicles but they have amazin CS! Prices are very reasonable but I honestly wouldn't mind paying a little higher than average if I needed to with tgem simply because of the way they handle their customers. You have to try them to believe it! Call them, go a head, you'll see and then you'll always shop with them!

I called CAR ID and had question about my purchase. Ruben answer the phone and explain me about the product and also help me with my purchase over the phone. Ruben explain me that if I purchase over the phone with I will get extra discount and some gift card. He was very helpful and knowledgeable person. I will recommend to call CARID and talk to Ruben. Im a consumer advocate that specializes in business law. I will be creating pages specifically for upset customers who have been mistreated by this company. I will be contacting every upset consumer and consolidating a focused marketing strategy to reveal the truths behind this companies violation of the bill of lading and carmack amendment. I suggest the first action to everyone is file a report with the better business bureau.

Absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. I ordered a black Chevy emblem for my truck. I ordered a T-Rex Grille emblem for $55 for a 2005 Chevy, I got one from AMI stylings for a 2014 Chevy. Wrong brand, wrong year, and a much cheaper part. I've talked with customer service 4 times, still can't get an RMA number or return label to ship it back. They refuse to do anything until they get it back. They told me that they would ship the replacement once they have tracking that I shipped the wrong one back. But again still no Rma or return labels. Each time I talk to them I get informed that they have already done an exception for me, since they said they would ship out the right one when they got tracking instead of the part. Like they did me a favor. And also tell me each time I talk to them it will be another 24-72 business hours. This company is a joke, I do not recommend them and will never do business with them again.

Purchased tires and rims, provided all the details on the vehicle and even pictures. The tires are unsafe and will crush upon the weight of the vehicle or shred upon driving, our tire place would not install them and our dealership provided a written statement on how unsafe they were. CARiD still does not believe that they are unsafe and won't let us return them. Even the tire manufacture has stated they are unsafe. We had to order safe tires from our tire place so we could use the rims. The rims are not custom like we ordered and the bolts keep coming lose because they are not custom for our vehicle. The dealership has deemed these unsafe and could cause serious injury or death. CARid obviously does not care that they sell products that could cost a life of a loved one. 4months of trying to return unsafe products is not great customer service.

Partly my own fault as I should have looked at the poor reviews first. I'm past my estimated ship date and still no shipping info. So I guess my order hasn't been shipped yet. Over a week after I placed an order. It would be so bad if I hadn't had to lose more money on a reservation fee to have tires mounted. If I were Carid, I wouldn't hold my breath hoping for my continued business. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and you guys blew it. I was going to add the proof of purchase, but apparently my screenshot didn't meet the requirements to upload.

Searched high and low for a replacement heater core fora 1970s truck. CarID was the only place that showed availability. Should have thought something was up then. Anyway, ordered it and waited... and waited... and waited... Made a couple of attempts to contact, the last one saying it was in the warehouse on the 22nd, give them a couple of days to get it out. Next thing I know I get a notice that it is unavailable and next expected date was another month. After 3 months of waiting, I said forget it, not signing up for a fourth. But guess what, the item was still showing available on the site with a 3 week delivery direct form the manufacturer?!

Fool me once, shame on me for giving the benefit of the doubt that the information was accurate and they would follow through and deliver the part ordered from an accurate listing. Fool me twice, CarID wont get the second chance.

I asked the specialist at CARID if some parts were completely compatible with my vehicle. She assured me that they were and sent me parts that were not and now they are fighting me for a refund with several emails blaming me for their misguidance. I'm out so far around $700 and a lot of time fighting with them.

Tip for consumers:
Do not order from these guys. They will fight you if you get the wrong parts on any returns.

Truck toolbox came quickly and looks good. Built well too. Good price.
Still waiting on my wood dash kit as the mfg. Was out of walnut burl. They do keep me up to date on the back order though.
3rd order was Weather Tech mud flaps. I received the wrong ones (my error?) and they are correcting that nicely. Customer service tries hard to get it right.

Ordered Brake Caliper Covers for my car, Originally it was suppose to be for a Christmas present for 2013. The order was late first of all, and the covers were not the right cover at all. It took three tries before I got the right covers. After many emails and phone calls and alot of time spent, I actually got them to give me credit to use on the website on my next purchase. This is where it gets good, I go to the website off and on browsing at things I might want to purchase, I try to log into my account and it will not let me. I then try to recover my password and it does not recognize my email address, the very same one that I used to order and complain about the last order. I have called no answer it just tells me they will call back, I have sent five emails explaining my issue. They just dropped me like a bad habit. This is the worst online shopping and the worst communication i Have ever had!

Tip for consumers:
don't waste your time, cause they will sure waste yours!!!

I purchased two rear brake calipers for my 2006 Hyundai Sonata, from my initial call to when I received the parts, the representative knew what she was doing and answered all questions in a professional manner.
I will recommend CARiD to friends and family.

I normally don't write reviews but I ordered a set of brakes for my Acura on June 22 2020. I recieved a backorder notification with No ETA on June 23. So I called and asked for you credit me back you said 24 to 48 hr. It's now July 19 2020 and still no credit. I have called 5 times and I am told the same thing every time, I will have my credit within 24-48 hours, but I still have not received my credit. If you can't provide a customer with the products they ordered I don't understand why there is this much hassle to give them back their money. This is my 1st order and will be my very last order! Very unprofessional.
