“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

They do not stand behind there shipment terms at all, Originally my order was supposed to shipped to me on 10/3. After waiting a week I get a email that the estimated ship date for (2) items is a week later 10/9 and (1) item 10/5. Which I needed these items in a timely manner. When I called customer service they couldn't provide me with a update on reasons why later that day I received a email that the (2) small items have shipped but the one that was supposed to ship 10/5 information was unavailable. As of 10/8 the item that was supposed to ship still hasn't shipped and I ended up just canceling the order. Now I have to was 3-5 business days for a cancellation request then maybe I can receive my money back. Customer service was no help and I left the manger a voicemail to call me which I never received.

Called my order in to make sure my order was correct. I gave them all the info about my vehicle for a roof rack and they sent it to me in a decent amount of time. WELL it was completely wrong for my vehicle and I had to argue with them until I called the manufacturer and they said it was wrong. Called back Carid with the correct information from the manufacturer so it would be right the next time. Had to repack and ship the incorrect items back(took them 3 days to email call tag) now waiting for my shipment to be received before the correct product will be sent. All in all this takes another 2 weeks. Almost a month for something I needed in a week. I got a sorry sir this is how we work.

CARiD has been great for me. Ricardo in customer service was very helpful. I've had Spyder Euro LED headlights for about 6 months and the driver side light has moisture inside and the outer coating is peeling. Only a 3 month warranty. Not a good look for Spyder! I just ordered Spec-D Chrome Dual Halo LED Headlights and hoping I have better luck with them!

I buy a lot of parts with car ID.com! I much rather call customer service and talked to Chris achaibar so he can personally help me out with getting my order complete! I don't buy parts anywhere else but car ID.com thank you so much for all you do for me!

I was doing research on pricing for an exhaust system for my 2014 Nissan 370Z and was helped by Nancy. All I wanted to know was if they offered military discount which they do. Nancy added the items to my cart and applied the discount. Thank you guys for supporting your Military members.

I called up customer service to question a ship date and was treated so poorly that I couldn't believe it. I was told I was making up the rules to suit my needs, if you ordered tires already then you should know this stuff already, I was told "Sorry if this interrupts your plans" and we have thousands of tires and rims to deal with.
I asked to speak with a supervisor and when they called back they were as bad as the employee. I asked about customer service and he said our job is to give you an answer as fast as possible and move on. He asked me, "What are you digging for". He said this happens all the time. I said what bad customer service. He said no misinterpretation of intent.
I think if he even admits that this happens all the time, then maybe its the companies fault and not the customers.

Tip for consumers:
This is a hit or miss company. If you are lucky and everything goes right then great. If you have a problem or question beware because you are going to get an earful of rudeness from customer service.

Carid.com is unprofessional and uneducated about car parts, go else where please pay a couple dollars more for piece of mind. I ordered light covers for a Challenger srt8 suppose to be here three days ago. And no calls to notify me of the deIay, I have to call them and of course they only return calls while working to pay for the purchase. They need a new business plan or they will not have any business. From me anyways! I would give them 0 stars but you have to give at least one poo. At least leave a tracking number when leaving a message this is why I called, duh.

Ordered parts that weren't compatible for son's vehicle. Asked to return them and received one shipping label. Shipped back and now they claim two labels were sent to go to two different companies. Since they were shipped together and parts didn't go to one company... they JUNKED BRAND NEW PARTS! So no refund for over $160, but they did refund a under $20 part. This company is a joke. Pay attention to the reviews.

Should have learned from the first screw-up, but I tried again. Ordered a bumper and waited 18 days. It arrived and the box/crate was mis-labeled and the bumper in the box was not for a Tundra. Good customer service would be to send out the proper bumper and have wrong picked up asap. Not the case with CarID.com. You have to send pics and wait 24-72 hours for them to look at the issue, another 24-72 hours for them to contact the manufacturer... Then, they have to have it picked up and brought back for inspection, then send the, hopefully, proper bumper. I didnt screw up. You sent the wrong part. Why do I have to wait more weeks to get my order? Literally, the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and I want to make sure everyone will know.

10 days waiting for my tires and wheels to ship. Heard nothing. Called today and was told they had shipped. I said the site doesn't say that and I didn't get a notification. Put on hold and came back with "Your wheels just arrived here, they will go out Wednesday". That's another week to wait. That will be 17 days. My local shop can mount 4 tires in 20 minutes. Why does it take them a week? I spend alot on my cars and trucks, but this will be the last order from CarID.

The site says "Easy Returns" which should be followed by a sarcastic emoji. The whole process has been painful, the item which I ordered had installation issues. I called to initiate a return and they asked for pictures which I sent the same day (6/8). The automated email said I would get a response 24/72 hours later which did not happen. I called again 6/13 again told again I had to wait 24 to 72 hours and they could not find the pictures so I sent them again. I called again 6/15 again and was told I have to wait 3 more days for an RMA until following Tuesday. I have never had such a painful experience with any online merchant returning an item that does not work as with carid. I would never buy from them again

Jorge was outstanding and his customer service and PR skills but I would recommend giving him a raise and advanced him to manager of his section he's very knowledgeable and courteous period I have since told all my buddies that have big four wheel drive trucks here in Arizona to visit the website and try and contact him personally. I just want to say thanks again for helping me on my Ford F250 Super Duty as it is a truck that I consider part of my family. Thank you for your support CARiD.com

The part has been delivered July 7th but wait I live in Ontario Canada and it was delivered to somewhere in California

Called Carid to find out what was going on and was informed I was sent the wrong tacking number.
How long to fix this I asked?
Was told 72 hours I would be contacted, no one ever contacted so I connected with them on their live help, asked for my money to be returned and was informed it was too late for it to be returned.

I have no part, no money refunded, and unable to drive my vehicle.
What a way to end one week and start the next.

Missing paperwork,

I ordered a rear passenger axle, that shipped the next day, but once it got to FedEx it was stopped at customs as not all the paperwork had been attached to the parcel.
When I contacted carid they had no idea about this.
They instructed to give them 24 to 48 hours to get me some answers.
No one contacted me so had to contact them 4 days later as I have heard nothing.

A little better than a week they supposedly sent the paperwork which I now have to call FedEx to make sure they got it.
Was supposed to be delivered July 5/2022
That's not happening any time soon

Now I am just hoping with all this they sent the right part

I will probably never use carid ever again due to this experience.

Car I'd is THE place to go for car and garage acessories. There is always a large selection for each categories and they carry only quality products. I have never ordered from Carid and been disappointed. Carid is where I go for anything car related. If I want to know if a certain car has a certain type of product available first place I look is Carid. Not only that but the people running the place is great as well, awesome customer service (which you don't really need due to the quality of product and service) they really know what they are doing. If you want to be smart about car stuff Carid is the place

I have purchased many items at carid, great prices and great selection. I had a problem with my oracle side markers and I called carid. I spoke with Wowie and she was very helpful and she quickly got the ball rolling to see if I can exchange them because the item has a two year warranty. Wowie was great.

These guys took my money and sent me stuff I didn't need to buy and took no responsibility for it take 45 min of be i Nguyen on hold to tell u o well, if I could reach through the phone to choke them it wouldn't b enough!

I was looking for struts, and saw something about discounts for first responders. It was very late, and I was sure there wouldn't be anyone online to ask about the discount, but to my surprise there was. Tammy fixed me up as soon as I provided her my information. Outstanding support, and any discount the first responders is always appreciated!

Talked to one agent for brakes was told would receive by FRIDAY never got my order and when I called back Monday took 45min to talk to a supervisor, who did not listen to me at all when I kept repeating what I was told I was going to receive for the price. No one knows what they are doing save yourself the headache use summitracing or xdp easy no b. S. Customer service for carid is horrible place you on hold and don't listen to what you are asking for. This company is a joke buyer beware! I never put negative reviews but this company deserves it.

I purchased calibers for my boyfriend for Christmas. Unfortunately, they did not fit his car. After reading the reviews on here, I was very nervous I would have issues with obtaining a refund. WELL -- CariD.com not only forwarded the return information on a quick turnaround, I also received a FULL refund within a reasonable amount of time. AND, I would like to note that I returned the calibers during the holidays, AND still received excellent customer service. Thanks CariD.

Tip for consumers:
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, go through the necessary steps to request a return shipping, and they will process your refund. Be patient with this process.

I canceled my order to buy bull guard for my car. Amazon offered free delivery while CARID was charging me $40. I posted my return request to CARID on the same day. Ten days several emails phone calls and promisses I still do not have my money back. Each tyme Customer Service asks for more days to contact their own accounting. Today they told me my order was never processed in the first place yet they hold to my payment. I may never get any refund. Horible customer service attitude! I will never ever get even closer to this company!

I ordered a spoiler for my challenger that has the back up camera on it, on their website it showed in detail the back up camera on it and stated that that particular spoiler fit all models so I had it painted got it and there was no hole for the back up camera I called them and they tell me no you have to have that custom made well that's not what the website said so I returned it they refunded me half of my money and kept the other half for the paint all because there website is not truthful what so ever there unprofessional and full of BS! Do not waste your time with these idiots.

I ordered a set of engine mounts. Never opened the box they came in since during the shipping I found out my issue with my truck wasn't engine mount issue. I called them and set up a return and attached the label they gave me. A few days later and I checked the tracking and it arrived to them successfully. This was over two weeks ago. No refund as of yet. I called multiple times to their customer service and there weren't able to figure it out. They escalated it twice with no positive results. I am out $200 and that is theft. I have been robbed in a white collar fashion. This company and those in it are accomplices to robbery and they will be held accountable. Mark my words.
$200 may not be much to some but to me it is.

I saw a bedliner listed I was interested in but with no freight price listed. I made the mistake of hitting buy it and then asking for a freight cost to decide if I wanted it. This was on a Tuesday, ever time I tried I tried to complete the transaction it I could not because they had not set a freight cost. Finally on Friday they e mailed saying a freight cost of $200 had been set on a &147 item. The e mailed on sat morning saying I had failed to complete the purchase in 4 days so we're opening a failure to pay case. So now they are trying to force me to buy this item with threats. I asked them multiple times for a freight cost so I could make a decision. I will not pay $350 for a $147 item no matter what they threaten. The sad thing is I had found many items in their catalog I wanted for my truck but I would not buy a damn thing from them now!

I bought strut assemblies and shocks as well as a new steering rack and some hoses. I was quoted by my mechanic $3300 for parts and labour. After doing it my self and with the parts from CARID.COM I came out with a bill around the $700 mark. It was the difference between scrapping my 2006 Caravan and fixing it.
I am pleased with the service I received and the parts came in either on the date that was given or earlier. Just a reminder to all, if you think you may have to return an item... make sure you keep the box. Funny thing for me is that I wanted to return an item (power steering cooler) but didn't have the box... so I couldn't return it and now I find out that I will need to install the cooler after all. Ha ha.
I will buy from them again

I will start by saying my customer service experience was great when I placed my order. However, my order was supposed to ship by December 11, then I was informed it was delayed until December 14. Then I heard nothing until I contacted customer service and a couple days later I get a call that the gift for my husband wont ship until possibly December 29th! Ive spent all I can so I have nothing but a crappy gift card for my husband to open Christmas morning. Im super disappointed! I realize its a production issue, but this time of year you really need to be on this! Disappointed nonetheless.
