“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I cancelled my complete order and was told I would get a full refund. I found out they gave me a credit. I called to request a total refund and later that day they shipped part of the canceled order any way.

I got a part and installed it. But it wasn't as the salesman said it would be. So I sent images in of the numbers on the boxes to show the part I got and the way it looks installed. They said it is the wrong part was shipped but because I have installed it, they won't allow me to send it back. So they made the mistake and I'm supposed to live with it? Bad business practice! But they're hoping that with all the reviews, this one will just get lost in the shuffle.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. I made an order for some tires and canceled it the next day because I found then for $100 cheaper. Well they go ahead and ship these tires out and then they tell me that I have to pay for the return fee of the tires and the initial shipping costs even though I had canceled the order. So I opened up and but opened up in a dispute with PayPal, then they told me that they would not refund any money until I close down all my disputes or until PayPal told them that they had to give me back my money so after 3 months I finally got my refund I refund. These guys are a joke and they do not know the meaning of customer service.

Avoid at all cost

I Did order rear wind from carid. 6 weeks ago every time i call them they tell me is back order give them couples days and never call me back, they never receive that call them. Next thing i was call them to cancel the order the day i call, they told me the send wind. I did receive, a week later came broke and now they tell me ups broke the wing came in box split in half look is a use wind and like somebody try to glue. The telling me ups brooked. Realty i did hear horrible story's a about their costumer service they are low life companies. Don't get fool from this companies. Stay way from car id

I ordered four wheel/tire set from them and it was delivered in April 2019. As of today 8/14/19, I have two wheels and tires where the weights have falling off, literally within a month time frame. I called to let them know about this to let them know how inconvenient this had been for me in regards to time and cost to get it rebalanced. I know it doesn't cost much but you wouldn't expect the weights to start falling off after 4 months. I owned many wheels and tires and never had this issue. There answer is if it falls off, it would've happen within a few weeks from the time you received them and we no longer cover that. Seriously? Horrible service. If you don't care about service, shop here. If you do, don't expect it to get it here. I was recommending people to buy here, but now it will be just the opposite.

I would return here for products just based on the help I received from car IDs customer service! The product had a faulty connection come up but it was just one bulb, not both so I know it wasn't their fault but it was the fault of either the shipping company or the maker of the product and I was still helped with no problems at all!

I purchased new head lights for my Suburban. In January 8th. Received around 15th. Sat in box until Certified body shop could install on 03/01/2022
I paid $600 DOLLARS for these damn lights and $200 to install.

The Drivers side low beams do not WORK! And the lights both are not air tight and are full of condensation after a rain one day after install.

Called CS for exchange and they said... SORRY, out of Warranty. So i am Fd! This company sucks! $600 DOLLARS!

I placed a order for my 2003 silverado! (Hood) I must say! Great service from start to finish. I see a lot of bad customer service complaints. But I for me, it was awesome. Thanks again guys, for the awesome service you guys provide.

The absolute worst service ever! I bought a alternator with a $ 60 core charge sent it back
For refund and they finaly got back to me and said they are not going to send it to me because I filed a paypal claim.

I ordered a windflector for car and received one that was not like the picture described. I called CarId that day and salesman Blake walked me through a thorough comparison of other windflectors until I found one that was more appropriate. If every salesperson had the patience of Blake then all purchasing would be a pleasure!

Purchased sunroof wind deflector for pontiac grandprix. Fit and styling was perfect. The best part was it drastically reduced the noise. The brand was weather tech.
Live Customer service was helpful during the transaction.

Attempted to return an item for over a month. Made two calls to Carid, over 5 email exchanges, and email with the mfg. IM chats with customer service Always a run around. Sites return policy is borderline fraud. Carid refers you to mfg for item warranty.

I ordered a bedliner for a Ram truck. They took the vin number as to make sure it was correct. I paid 200 in shipping. When it got here I went to put it in and it was too small. I contacted them and they once again asked for the vin number and then the part number they sent. They told me I had the wrong one for my truck. That was it. No offer to get me the correct one or anything. Bad business!

We ordered 2 items from them and 3 weeks passed before we called and inquired about our order thay was already paid for. At first they claimed they could not find the order after some back and forth they found the order and promised to ship the items within a day. 5 days passed and we received one item. Called again and they said they could not find the order again some back and forth and they magically found the order and told us they had not heard back from the manufacturer and to give them more time. It has been over a month.

I bought hubcaps they said it would fit I called and asked yes it will fit they said 16 inch hubcaps I told the guy how the rim shape was and try ed to explain it the best I could . So when I got them they didn't fit so I measured them and there 17 inch so called back took all day to talk to someone . When I told him what happened he said ok these will fit there 17 inch he said pay for theses and we will send you a return label so I said ok I got the new ones and still no fit so it's been a month I sent one back and still no money on card and still have hubcaps I need to send back! Peace of $#*! rip offs

Ordered four struts for my car. All arrived as expected. One strut was defective, as the strut mount wasn't connected correctly. I removed the defective strut, reinstalled the old one and called CarID to begin the return process. The technician I dealt with JosephMA was argumentative, defensive and only "allowed" a return after I escalated the situation. Never, ever buy from this company. Their return policy promises 100% satisfaction, but they don't deliver.

Tip for consumers:
My advice would be to not use this site under any circumstances.

I bought a pair of taillights from them and was told that the ship date would be 6 weeks away. The very next day I canceled the order and received a cancellation request confirmation. 2 days later I received an email saying that my order had shipped and my cancellation could not be fulfilled. I was forced to pay the shipping to return the product or I would not get any of my money back. After spending upwards of 10 hours on hold trying to reach customer service I still ended up having to pay the shipping out of my return for a mistake that they made. Be extremely sure you want the product if you place an order from them or they will hold you hostage.

I have been having a lot of grief and so has CARID. It took the CV axle manufacture 3 shipments to finally get it right and the brake drum distributor shipped out drums 3 times with all but 1 defective. CARID made price adjustments to another brand to accommodate me. In the end it is not CARID's fault that the manufacture of the axles and brake drums I ordered made bad parts. I could have ordered the same parts from any retailer and the same thing would have happened. So they did what they could with a bad situation. Still waiting for the replacements and credit for the returns, but expect CARID will handle it!

I ordered a pair of 20x9 fuel kranks on December 21 I called recently I was told they were not going to ship until January 5th and should take 5 days to ship so now I have my tired waiting which were delivered 2 days after ordering and a lift on my truck I can't drive anywhere until I get the wheels in. Never order from this site. Wish I would have read some reviews before ordering

Best prices and service cant believe other companies have not caught on. I will start by saying my customer service experience was great when I placed my order. However, my order was supposed to ship by December 11, then I was informed it was delayed until December 14. Then I heard nothing until I contacted customer service and a couple days later I get a call that the gift for my husband wont ship until possibly December 29th! Ive spent all I can so I have nothing but a crappy gift card for my husband to open Christmas morning. Im super disappointed! Hi everyone. I placed my order with CarID on 5/27/16. My order was for a set of five Fuel Beast Wheels paired with a set of Toyo Open Country Tires for my Jeep. I did not receive my order until 06/22/16. Granted my order turned out perfect, it took quite a long time. CarID seems to be a middle man on a lot of the products that they offer. You place the order with CarID then they order it directly from the manufacturer or another wholesaler. They have to wait to receive the item then you have to wait on the turnaround time for CarID to ship it to you. I had to check on the status of my order a few times to verify the timeframe. If you are a patient person then I would give them a shot. If not, then I would look to place my order elsewhere. Especially when it comes to a wheel and tire order. I am very happy with the product I ordered. I was just not satisfied with the time that it took for me to get it.
