“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I ordered on the 11th. I purchase tires and rims. I was told they would take 5 to 7 business days. Because of covid-19 it would take longer. After reading all the reviews I'm scared I made a bad decision. I ordered from a lot of different companies and I've never waited this long. I had someone name Nicole email me about the situation and said I only did it on the 11th. I should of stuck with Amazon. They always fix things when you have problems. EBay sucks too. I wanted to find someone new. By the way my order number is CARiD.com: Order receipt #*******. It is all over my email and my account. Try and deny it.

I placed an order almost a month ago and was sent the incorrect part. I keep getting told the manufacturer has not gotten back with CarID. I have not been sent a return lable and keep getting told the same thing. This is poor customer service.

This company is the worst, purchased some Lexani custom painted wheels which CarID match the WRONG tires for the wheels causing rocks and debris to hit the outter edge of the wheel and cause scratches and dents in the wheels. The problem is that the wheel outer lip sticks out further then the tire therefore the wheel has no protection. Called them and ask what they can do for me and the sales rep said "You can send them back for repair at your cost". What the hell, why is this my fault, it's clear that these tire are the wrong type for these wheels. Sales rep said because I drove on them that the damage was my fault. I responded saying "If I didn't drive on them no one would of known if they were prone to road debris issue. Anyway don't do business with these crooks..

I have been working with CARiD support for weeks trying to sort out some international shipping issues. Most big online vendors consider the issue we are dealing with as "combined shipping" for multiples of the same product. In this case, the product weighs little more than an ounce at a cost of $7.00USD. Shipping cost is said to be $250USD (50 x5)! The folks at CARiD seem to have some trouble with this concept but have been working hard to try to sort it out. At this point, still unresolved.

I placed an order well in advance of needing it for a gift. When I tracked it, I discovered they had the address wrong. I called customer service, was told (by Blaise) they would cancel that order, reorder it and I would get the item the next day. What happened was that I was charged TWICE for the item, charged for regular AND overnight shipping, only received ONE item, and can't get anyone in customer service to call me back, answer my e-mails or rectify the situation. I will not be ordering from them again.

I ordered an accelerator shift sensor and recieved a fender light. I called and did live chat only to get the run around. The representative I spoke with via chat was supposed to send me the information to return the item via email and refund me for the item. I never received the email. I then called and the representative was supposed to send me my correct item and give me a 10% off coupon. I have not received my part or refund to my account. I started a chat today 2x and was ignored by the reps. This is the worst company I have ever done business with over the web. I will not be doing business here again.

It has been over a month since this company sent me the wrong part, I have been talking to a CarId.com representative tried asking me to change my first 1 star rating because they offered me a $40 gift card, serioulsy? They keep telling me I will get my refund in "1 to 5 buissness days" but they first told me that like a month ago! I even had a seperate rep email me saying once again ill have my refund in "1 to 5 buissnes days", the 5th day being yesterday and i have STILL have yet to receive my refund. This is probably the worst customer service Ive ever experienced, i feel like they just expect people to forget about it or give up waiting.

I bought side rails for my jeep, which I found out later were overpriced and they send me the wrong ones. The ones they sent didn't even look like the ones i bought. When I called to return the rails they make you jump through hoops to return the item they messed up on. Even after sending them photos and the lady on their phone admitting the ones they sent were the wrong items they still make you jump through more hoops, ridiculous!

I am realli disappointed in the service I recieved. I ordered Mesh Grille for my 2004 BMW 525i and was told by *******@carid.com to wait for a month because it has to be manufactured just for my car. She offered me free overnight shipping once the product becomes available. Today she calls me and tells me to pay $64 for overnight shipping. Total Scams. I will Never order anything from this company nor will I advice anyone to shop from this website.

This company has return policies that are theft at best. Bumper I ordered was made of poor quality and they wouldn't refund my money unless I sent pictures of the item not fitting my car. I explained that the bumper was poorly made and I ended up having to buy another bumper to have the painted because the body shop needed the car out of the bay. Their vendor delayed the delivery by over a week and a half. I paid for shipping and the part. Without the pictures I'd only be refunded the part cost but I would have to pay the return shipping. The shipping was more than the part, that's how badly made the part was. This company is a total P.O.S! P.O.S! P.O.S! P.O.S! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I ordered a roof rack system from this company for my car. While it said they had the items in stock they really did not and werent expecting to for months. I canceled the shipment on the same day. It has now been over a week and not only have i not received a refund, but they shipped me part of the order that was in stock. Every time I call their customer serive they are rude and are not any help.

I stupidly clicked the button to submit my order before I noticed that they charged me $127 for shipping on a $135 dollar part for my dads truck. I immediately attempted to cancel the order and the customer service person told me that they will submit a request, but the order may have been shipped already. They said that if the shipping label was already created, that I was out of luck. How could it have shipped if I called within minutes of ordering?!

I called to confirm what the 1st person told me and they giggled at me and read to me the notes from the first person and said that they will not do anything more.

I have a screenshot of UPS stating that the shipping label was created at 2:40PM on 6/7 and I have an email confirmation that my request was submitted at 12:53PM on the same day. They lied.

The worst customer service I ever went through. They do all they can to make the customer to place the order and after that you are lucky if you get what you wanted. In my case I canceled the order five minutes after I place it, they canceled the order but I got it shipped anyway and no cancellation whatsoever. Sending them back the product would have been more expensive than the purchase itself, so I keep the lesson and write the review.

I ordered rotors from these scam artist. The photo showed a pair of rotors but the fine lines stated one rotor. Needless to say i mistakenly ordered the wrong stuff. After taking forever to even get in touch with someone they were suppose to send me return info but it took a week JUST FOR AN EMAIL and then these scam artist sent me return info for just one part and not both.

At first, I had received great customer service. Presently, I have to warn all potential customers to completely avoid this business. After trying to return my $500.00 Bushwhacker wheel flares that came scratched out of the box and did NOT fit my vehicle, this company foot dragged on my return, e mailed return paperwork that would NOT allow it to be copied by my p. C. and printer. These people did everything in their power to NOT allow me to return a part. These parts were photographed and documented, pictures were sent directly to Bushwhacker, who also agreed! I urge and warn all potential customers, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE A-HOLES. Their service was so reprehensible that I'm next calling the N. J. State board of consumer affairs AND lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SLIMEBAGS.

I placed a order they said it was in stock ( it wasn't) when I called to confirm shipment is when I found out it wasnt in stock they never notified me. I was on hold for 1 hour just to be disconnected when I asked for a supervisor, called back and was on hold for more than a hour and then disconnected. Tried to get in touch with then through email that gave me no answers. Called back finally got in touch and just told them to just cancel the order. This is the worse company in every way. Stay away I should have read the reviews before i ordered.

So i ordered some headers for my car they seemed to be damaged called carid they said ups had to pick it up since they supposly damaged it but it looks like ups didnt even damage them since the box does not look beat up reps were rude i told them i could not wait for the ups guy to pick up item since i work from 6 am to 9 pm Monday trough Saturday rep said it was not their problem verry rude and $#*!ed $#*! return policy

Ordered a fuel pump for my 65 and had it installed but it was defective and would not pump fuel. The mechanic took it out and sourced another one and installed it without any problem. Sent a request back to carid but was told I need to have a video of it not working but I am not about to pay a the mechanic to take out the one he has working and put this one back in just to take a video and redo it again as it is too expensive. If a video is a requirement of a warranty issue then it should have a note attached to the product to advise of the requirement. I have unsubscribed from their emails and will never purchase from them again because they do not back up their products unlike in their website that says easy returns. Poor customer service

Don’t. Shipping is more than the products and in Canada you end up with taxes on top of the costs.

One of the worst experiences I ever had on the internet.
I ordered a retaining clip online for my 56 Cadillac window switch. Their photo of the part online was the part exactly the part I needed. They sent me a completely different part, not even close to the photo.
I thought, Simply mistake, right. After waiting on hold for over an hour I finally talked to someone, out of the country, and told them the error.
They told me, "Sorry the part is nonrefundable." I said excuse me?
"This was not my mistake, your photo of the part online is incorrect"' I said. Nope! They didn't care. I asked to speak to a supervisory (pulled a Karen) and it only got worst. She started getting nasty! Needless to say, I will NEVER BUY ANTHING from the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!

Tip for consumers:
NEVER.... NEVER... NEVER... BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL COMPANY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE! TRIED TO BLAME ME FOR ORDERING THE WRONG PART!!!

I am a professional vehicle restorer and I went a company with integrity that I have done business with in the past OPGI.

I should have read their terrible reviews first before I bought from them. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, INSULTING, RUDE COMPANY WITH HORRIFIC ETHICS.

Ordered a carbon fiber hood called before I ordered to inquire about any modifications to install was assured no modifications needed; received after a month and proceeded to install hood would not close striker was shorter than oem hood took off car put back in box and called said they needed pics told them I would not put back on car but would take pictures of strikers with tape measure then called manufacturer who said latch on car could be ajusted tried that didn't work realized also that secondary catch was hitting so modified and still can't get it to work now I'm out 1300 dollars and don't think I will be able to install also said they need more pics but quite obvious they had no intentions on returning item just want to rob you of your hard earned money

It was the best and the sale person Rekha's was the best. I will keep shopping with them. Now I know u can order your on part at cheat price and not let the mechanic take u for your money. And the person was very helpful and very nice on the phone and took her time out to help me.

We ordered a fiberglass bumper from CARDID and when received it was of horrible quality. We were completely unsatisfied with it and sent pics of how it was warped and not even. They said it was fine would not take it back unless we paid to send it back which cost us almost $300. After purchasing insurance on the freight I received an email from them 9 days after receiving the item that it had "cracked" in transport and rudely asking what I wanted to do with the bumper. I feel like they did it on purpose to not have to refund us our money. I also only had 5 days from delivery date to report damage for insurance to cover it so 9 days later I'm out almost $1000. I will NEVER do business with them again.

About a year ago I purchased a set of towing mirrors for my 2013 Chevy Silverado. At the same time there was a set of chrome covers advertised with the mirrors. I asked the order "specialist" if these covers would fit the towing mirrors. He answered that they would. The towing mirrors are exactly as advertised and installed easily. However, the chrome covers are for the stock mirros. When I called CarID customer service, I was informed that the order "specialist" no longer worked there and that nothing could be done about my situation. I now have two pieces of chrome junk sitting in my garage.
