“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I order a bumper from them on 5/7/15. I was told it would ship on 5/14/15. By 5/20/15 I still had not heard anything from them. I called a 9 a.m. to be told the manufacturer was closed and they would call be back in a hour. By noon I hadn't heard anything so I called back to be told the servers were down and was assured I'd be called back as soon as they were back up. I called back at 4 p.m. when they hadn't called me to be told it was back ordered and would be at least a month. I was not informed of this until I contacted them. I cancelled my order and am now fighting with them to get my money refunded.

I made a purchase for a bumper last Friday. Was sold the item with free shipping., paid for item and invoice reflected free shipping. We did not receive the item on time. When we called, was told we now needed to be charged shipping (after a closed sale) due to their incurred expense with distributer. The is unacceptable and poor customer service. We were also able to go online and still see offered with no shipping and were being told we had to pay addtl money to get the item after a closed sale. Very disappointing and will not be referring this company to anyone in the future.

I placed an order *******, (#*******), and the first red flag should've been 2 different prices! 60.84 in the beginning, and then 79.03 after the customer service rep applied a "discount"! But, I really needed the part and ever place else had them on back order.
I get an alert that fedex delivered the package *******, and since it was a long weekend, I was out of town. The package was put in my mailbox, according to the photo, I get back in town tuesday, no package in the mailbox,I contact carid, they say "search around", I searched the property, no package. Contacted them again, they say "file a police report!". The police wouldn't file a report since it was left in the mailbox, instead of the porch, where fedex normally leave packages. The police say "contact the post office!". The post office couldn't act, because it wasn't a package that was sent through the US mail!. Carid won't give me a refund or a replacement!, even though? I followed all of the steps on the carid website regarding replacements. So I'm stuck paying for a part I never received. The run around and buck passing. So I
Plan to warn my social media groups and followers to avoid these people at all costs.

Avoid carid!!

I understand your frustration but the total on your order includes the shipping cost and tax. The shipping cost varies on the destination as well as the taxes. When the address is filled in, it shows the subtotals for the item, shipping, tax separately and the total. If the total does not work for you, the order is not processed, no fee is hidden, just close the page or get back to the cart.

We tried to file a lost package claim with the shipping carrier but it was denied due to them having proof of delivery. Regretfully, CARiD is not responsible for the theft of any packages lost.

Consumer beware of this organization! They will agree to a price match over the phone and then ship you a cheaper inferior product -even though you give them precise product sku.
After they debit your account, you will wonder why you haven't received an e-mail confirmation invoice of your purchase. They conveniently change your e-mail address to make it appear as a honest mistake.
Now call their customer service representatives or voice your complaint with a supervisor and they will demand additional payment from you and ask you if you have the e-mailed invoice that they altered and never sent.
If you want what you originally ordered, have to take out your credit card and pay additional on what you requested!
I thought this type of extortion &
Scamming was illegal?
Never, never again! Even if I have to pay more money with a honest reputable vender - I advise you to do so!

Put through 3 pending transaction on my credit card which put a hold of over $300.00 and also overdrew the account and cost me overdraft fees. On top of that they refused my order due to the shipping address being different from my billing address. I never heard of such a thing. They said that the shipping address needed to match the billing address or I needed to use PayPal. Needless to say I went elsewhere.

Ordered a part for my 2013 F-250 and the site told me it would be shipped to me by October 8th. October 8th came and went with no email or phone call from Car Id. So I reached out to them and then they told that the product was on back order. That probably should of been stated when I ordered the part. Would of ordered from another company. Got an email today November 20th stating the product was still on back order and they did not know when it would get in. So I told them to cancel my order and car id said it would take 5 business for them to put it back on my card. Don't understand that they can take my money so quickly but take their time giving it back.

I recently bought a radiator and Laura was very helpful. I was supposed to get it in 3-5 days and I was surprised that it came the day after I ordered it. I was very happy. I reccomend this company iD carid because they have very good prices. :)

Long story short

I ordered a carbon fiber hood in January 2017. They kept telling me the estimated ship date. First they said it will be shipped January 27,2017, then backed up to March 31st, then backed up to April 13th and now they just told me it will be backed up AGAIN to May 12,2017.

Why wait almost half a year when I can easily order the carbon fiber hood on another website that can be shipped 1-2 days later. I'm a patient person and I was willing to wait maybe a month or so, but to wait half a year already is ridiculous.

It is totally not worth ordering from them. I ended up canceling my order and I completely wasted my time waiting on them.

I ordered a coolant reservoir for a 2014 Ford Escape and received a reservoir for a Ford Mustang! I called them to fix the problem and they repeatedly blamed some mystery "manufacturer" for the error. When they finally agreed to exchange the part (a part I desperately needed), they said it would be sent ASAP. I called a day later because there was no sign of it being sent and was told they wouldn't send the correct part until the "manufacturer" received the other one back.To make matters worse, they weren't even going to send a return label (by snail mail) for 2-3 days! That doesn't sound like ASAP to me! In the mean time, I had a car the was leaking fluid. My husband finally had to go to the dealership to buy the part. Now I get to wait until God know when for them the refund my money! Do not buy anything from this company!

Around 8pm Saturday I was I need of a part on a very tight time schedule. I chatted with Bryan from customer service and he was very helpful in assuring me that I would have the part ordered and in time for when I needed it. Thanks Bryan you guys are the best!

I contacted the service team late around 8:30pm Central time. I was trying to get my Militsry Discount and was unaware of the process to do so. I was put through to a gentleman right away. He was very informative and willing to help. He took me through the steps and got my order finalized within 15 minutes. 5 Stars for customer service. Great job and thank you for the Military Appreciation.

1. Customer service never care of you after you paid money, they are rude, know nothing of their own products and sit in India and China (not in the USA for sure);
2. Products are brought from China too... but they re-pack and send them to you from somewhere in NJ.
3. NEVER DEAL WITH THEM. You will lose time and money!

I had bought a hood and they sent the order to another vendor and when i received the hood it was broken so we had to get it replaced. Now it took 3 weeks to finaly get an answer from the vendor by this time i had just wanted my money back and i was told that the vendor was sendibg a new one so i was not happy but said i would rather get my money back but if it was in transit i would not refuse it. Now carid took this as no matter what send a new one. The vendor gave carid the redund and they took it upon themselves to place a new order for this product which ment i had to wait 3 more weeks to receive it. This is the second place carid failed. I will never buy another thing from them and would tell anyone i can to be very cautious on using this site.

Ahead of ordering aftermarket fog lights made for my vehicle, I contacted customer service so they could verify it would fit including the switch. They confirmed it did, so I ordered the lights. I installed the lights and to my surprise, the switch did not fit. I contacted customer service and they first tried to tell me it wouldn't fit until I forwarded their email that said it would. Then they told me it was outside of their return policy. At this point, I didn'the want to return them since it was installed-just wanted a switch that would work. They offered a $15 gift certificate which does me no good because they don'the sell switches and there wasn't anything on their site I could get for $15 shipped that I needed. I asked instead for them to refund $15 which is about 10% of the purchase price so I could use that to buy a switch that would work at another store. They refused. I will never buy from this site again. I would give them zero starts if I could.

I recently was shopping for a hitch to put on my VW Jetta. I found the best price to be with CARiD. I normally order online after I find what I'm looking for. But I had a question, so I called and talked to salesperson, Brian, who answered my question to my satisfaction and placed my order. My order came quick and was a quality product. Unfortunately I had to return the part because I had to go a different way. I contacted CARiD and they were very courteous and sent me the return invoice with no problem. I received my refund in a few days. I am now a very satisfied customer who will order all my automotive needs from CARiD. They really do have the best price's and customer service all the way around.

I have bought 3 things from Carid, and had no issues until now. I recently purchased some new head lights for my 07 Tahoe, which were promised to improve vision while adding Halo rings and LEDs and boy was that a lie. They offer their 30 day return policy unless you install them, which is where the issue arrises on top of the blantant lie of them improving vision, the headlights are comparable to driving with just my fog lights on, and they refused to refund my money because I Installed them, how am I supposed to know they're junk until I get them installed. Bottom line is I was planning many more purchases from Carid which will not happen even if buying else where is more expensive.

I ordered a bumper cover for my 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. The item was never delivered I had to reach out to the shipper and R&L (Melissa) shipping stated they sent it back. I called CARiD and they refunded me the money for the item only. Customer service stated that R&L attempted to get a hold of me but could not get ahold of me so it was not their fault. I paid them them for shipping and the item but no item was delivered and the only thing a customer service manager could say was "oh well your not getting anything back". Stay away from these criminals. I would zero stars but this site does not let me.

I made an order on 9/13/2020 and the total came out to $548 they took out the money and then never shipped my order so I contacted customer service and they said they will refund and they never did I contacted them again and they said they returned the money and that my bank account had it on hold and so I called my bank and they said there's no purchase under them but they had taken out the money that same day 9/13/2020 and now they said they didn't take it out all so if they hadn't then why did they give me a "return" in the first place? Its a fraudulent website do not order!

I called CARiD to order some parts for my truck, with already knowing what I was interested in, Chad was able to help out on the price of my multiple orders. He was able to beat all of the competitors prices and I was able to save hundreds of dollars. I have ordered parts for previous vehicles from CARiD and there is a reason why I keep going back to the website. Prompt shipment and the best pricing available is a must.

CARiD responded to my review, saying they had no record of my transaction or email. Here is a RECEIPT from these a**holes. Let's see if they respond with their cookie-cutter response of, "We are sorry about your experience. We look forward to resolving... blah blah blah..."

Tried to price match a pair of tail lights from another website, except didn't realize a different company made those tail lights, and both tail lights had to be the same creator to get the discount,... although I wasn't able to get the full discount, I still got a partial discount for the inconvenience, thankfully

I bought chrome taillight covers. Then I was hawked to give a positive review of the covers and I would receive a $25 gift certificate toward my next purchase. DON"T FALL FOR THIS RUSE! I have received 2 expired ones and am told will receive a 3rd one that should work. What kind of customer service is this?! Is this how they keep trying to hold onto customers? Reading the other reviews shows how bad this company is.
