“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I ordered four items which, despite ostensibly being available in stock, didnt actually ship for a week or more. When the items did finally ship, they were broken into three separate parcels, each of which shipped on three different days, and were correspondingly scheduled for arrival on different days. Fast forward a full 12 days, and only one of the three parcels has arrived. Why did I pay $20 for shipping? Why shouldnt I just order from Amazon and get my stufftomorrow? I dont think Amazon represents the salvation of e-commerce, I dont really even like the company, but arent we beyond the days of a 7 to 10 day lead time just for picking and shipping an in stock product?

I placed two orders with this company. First one was for a cargo mat for a 22 Jeep Cherokee. I received the mat, and it's not the right mat. They guarantee fitment. It did not fit. I contacted them, and was told that they would take it back and deduct return shipping costs. So they're going to charge me for their mistake?
The second order was a little larger. A full set of wheels, tires, lug nuts, mounting, balancing, and OEM TPS. It took them nearly a week to finally ship them, when the salesman I placed the order with told me they were in stock. I finally received them, took them to a local garage to have them installed. Once they were on the vehicle, it was lowered to back out of the garage. Instant screeching. Why? The wheels don't fit over my brake calipers. I called them, they said they are non-returnable because they were mounted. How do we know that they fit if we don't put them on the vehicle? Well we're going to let a judge decide that because they refuse to refund my $2,500. This company is disgusting. The three times I talked to customer service, I swear to God I was talking to somebody from India who didn't understand a lick of English. Yet the company is from New Jersey? Stay as far away from this company as you possibly can. They are the worst. I'll let you know how the lawsuit goes.

Go to any other car parts store on the internet and you'll be better off than with carID.

This company sells aftermarket products that fail, then when it fails they make it cost you thousands of dollars to have the part Uninstalled to send it back to them so they can then send you the replacement and pay to have that installed... So tripple installation price because they sent out a failed product and no common sense to send a replacement part first. I even offered my credit card for a temporary hold until their part was returned and they refused. $#*! service, $#*! warranty, $#*! company. I encourage others to find better vendors with better policies.
Reference: the headlight they sent me started to melt, as shown in picture. They accepted the warranty but refused to work with me to save me money for re-installation of a part I shouldn't have to have reinstalled in the first place

I emailed for the veterans discount and the automatic reply said they would contact me in a day. We all know what its like to have your rims in checkout... a day was forever so I called. I was quikly told t readthe fine print. Discount doesn't apply to all products... but i talked to Alex and he took care of me. Althought it wasn't a straight 10% he was able to help on shipping and other areas to get me back in budget. He thanked me gor my service and I thanked him for the discount... now just waiting for Santa... i mean UPS. :)

Ordered a bull bar with lights and a third brake light. After a week of no response I finally got an email telling me they shipped the lights but the bull bar was back ordered. After two more weeks no bull bar in stock with no delivery date expected. Got the lights for the bull bar with no bull bar. Got the incorrect third brake light so I asked to return and refund. After a month of bull$#*! from over 8 different employees telling me they are working on it I called it quits. I kept the incorrect part and sold it on ebay for a profit because it was luckily a more expensive light. They did not return my money for over three weeks for the bull bar they sold me but never had in stock. I never got a refund receipt for the third brake light. THIS COMPANY AND ANY "ID" COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

I bought "KYB® SR4231 - Strut-Plus Front Driver & Passenger Side Twin-Tube Complete Strut Assembly" from CARiD.
I got them installed and noticed an increasing noise when making turns. Got the vehicle inspected at the dealer and was told I have defective struts.
I contacted CARiD for a refund or store credit but was told that is not possible.
They expect me to send them the parts and wait on them with my vehicle in the shop for a week to 10 days.
I got original honda parts installed.

My Loss:
Around $400 I spent at CARiD for parts.
Labor $300 for installation of CARiD parts.
$170 I paid for inspection with the dealer.

The parts are lying in my garage now.

I ordered 1800 dollars wheels and tires, I placed the order on January 4th, the order was supposed to shipped in two weeks, after two weeks I called CARID, and they don't know What is going on, all the employees are incompetent and they don't know What they are doing, then I contact with the manager and he told me that the will send the order quickly. Today is 24th and the order will shipped tomorrow, very unprofessional, they put you on hold for 20 - 30 min, and during the hold on the phone some guy says a lot of interesting things, but still is not funny guys. You are a Joke. I will tell everyone, and I will write only bad reviews because you deserve it,

I ordered some springs and the springs they sent me were wrong. I didnt know that at the time until I went to install them. I contacted them and they said the declined my return because the springs now had scuffs. I told them its not my fault yall sent me the wrong part and was basically told Im stuck with eating the $115. I also asked if their 100% satisfaction guarantee was b. S. and the lady said yes, I guess so. Worst company Ive ever had to deal with. Talked to 2 customer service reps and was told there is nothing they can do for me. Complete trash customer service.

I ordered some foglights for my vehicle. They were $32 and I then payed an extra 35 dollars in shipping. When I looked at the charges after purchase it says $101 (I'm ordering from Canada so the conversion). However, two days later I get another charge for $104. I thought this might be an updated conversion on the date of shipping but my card has actually been charged both the $101 initial charge AND the $104 charge later on. KEEP IN MIND THE FOGLIGHTS COST $32! I'm looking at paying over 5 TIMES what they're worth. Seriously considering never buying from here again, especially this being my first experience. Hoping customer service answers soon, as the gripes about customer service make my pending experience look grim.

At first I was ecstatic. I swore that I loved the price, and the ease of use of the website. I was told my order was not in stock, fine, they said oct 10th, I waited, called a few times, and finally someone finally gives me a straight up oct 27th, I've already been without my truck for over a month, and need it back on the road. They never told me they were actually manufacturing my particular product per order. They should be forthright about the timeframe of when a product ships, etc. The website said one date, then moved to 10th, then it said 13th despite actual date of 27th. No a stretch of over a month in ETA is not acceptable by any sense of modern eCommerce, where some shippers get it out within the next day, like JC whitney. Just look at their under 99% rating on ebay.

Tip for consumers:
If you buy from then, make sure they are honest about stock.

I purchased both my front and back sets of brake rotors. The front set was correct but they took the longest to receive from the manufacturer, so CARiD did not send the rears until the whole order was ready. It took about 2.5 weeks to receive my rotors, and I received the WRONG rear set of brake rotors.

I contacted CARiD for a refund and was initially greeted with apologies asking for pictures of the box part # for proof before sending me a shipping label. However, I was then told that "the part # on the box doesn't exist, according to the manufacturer. You should be able to install the rotors." I clarified that I ordered the correct part # for my vehicle, and now they are claiming that no error was made on their part or the manufacturer's so they are deducting the shipping AND restocking fees from my refund.

I must also note that it is extremely suspicious that multiple different support agents are emailing me with different replies on my issue.

Complete bull$#*! customer service. I will never shop here again or suggest this place to anyone.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site, even though the site looks nice. If you receive the wrong product, you'll have the same trouble as I am having right now trying to return it.

Do not buy from this website. They are thief and lying, I had purchased a bed paint for my truck I paid online with all my information had supmetted after 2 weeks I did not get the box I have contact them they respond to me after 2 days they said the box had been delivered and this is the track number I checked it. It was shown some thing delivered to Austin tx but there was no shown my address or my name it is facke tracking and contact them many time after a while they respond to me this communication took more than a month they said they will find the box but no refund no box found they want gain time. I want to my bank to get refund the money the bunker said they cannot after 30days right now I do not get the money or the box and they did not respond to me after 30 days they are sure there is no refund after 30days. One again do not buy from this bad thief website

I had purchased a set of rotors and pads for my Audi an they came in Rong, I called them and they said that they were going to send me a return slip etc, finally got the confirmation email with the return slip so I printed out went to the UPS drop it off and I had to pay for the return because they didn't provide that! I called them and they said they were going to give me the money and I never got it plus the money for the return parts! This company can't be trusted because I've spoken to a couple different agents and all of them have different excuses the last one put me on hold for almost 30 MN and I never heard from them again! Don't spend your time and money with this company!

So I ordered some wheels for my truck, after that I was second guessing about the size of the wheels and stuff, so was chatting with a guy from the chat team, I literally asked like 3 questions and the guys game 3 answers, just his 3 answers for my 3 questions were enough to make me feel comfortable about the product i ordered, I wish all of the customers services were this good lol, shopping on this website its been great so far.

After the order, I received a confirmation e-mail. It was somewhat vague as to the specifics of my order. I requested personalized floor mats with "FairLady Z32" on them. The confirmation showed "fairlady z32" and didn't show the color or type of print. I called and talked to a young lady by the name of Nichole, she was unable to answer my questions, so she put me on hold, called the manufacturer and confirmed my personalization of the mats were correct. Thank you.

I ordered 4 wheels and tires through them, got them out on and they were out of balance... had to spend 36$Out of my pocket to get balsnced, my tire dealer said this would be an ongoing problem... Carid now days I have to buy new ones and when they recieve my old ones they will reimburse me... BS! They put me in contact with Nexen who said that with the road force rating on the tires that they should have never even been sent out!... sand that Nexen would warranty them but I have to buy the tires and wait 6-8 Weeks and a bunch of paperwork to be rembirsed from Nexen... i don't have money for this so I guess I'm just screwed! I will slam Carid every way i can and will NEVER do business with them again! Reporting to better business bureau and posting on all social media sites! WHAT A SCAM!

The week before Thanksgiving 2013, I assembled a tire and wheel package in a cart, but did not complete the purchase as I wanted to see if there would be any savings waiting until Black Friday.

Sure enough, their website showed "20% off everything plus 12% off with code BLACK12". I emptied the cart and started over. The price was NOT discounted 20% and the additional 12% discount was actually an 8% discount.

In webchat with the site, I asked why the discrepancy between the advertised discount and the actual discount. I was told that the 20% discount was reflected in the price. I explained that the black Friday price was the same as last weeks price so I did not believe him.

He made no attempt to explain why the 12% discount was only 8%, merely stating he was sorry for the inconvenience and I could go ahead and make the purchase and apply for the discount.

Now, this might all be a miscommunication, you can judge for yourself. I; however, will NEVER purchase anything from Carid.com.

I was looking for leafspring bushings for my 1999 Mitsubishi Montero, and I could not find the right ones on the internet until I visited carid.com. One of their executives helped me and selected all the items I needed. Brand new polyurethane bushings for my car, and the whole kit for installation.

Would buy again.

1st when u request for a retur label u have to wait 3-5 business days. Then u have to pay a restocking fee. Last but not lease u have to wait 3-5 business days for your money. Nearly 2 week process to get your money back. Smh

Well, they asked me to give them a second chance. I thought we all deserve one, so alright. I ordered the 3rd brake light for my son's truck in November 2014 thinking it would be there by Christmas. I got an email saying it was to ship on the 12th or so. I thought great! But it didn't show up for Christmas and I received another email sometime later saying it was backordered and would be in around Feb. 17 or so. Take in mind, it was still showing on their website as" in stock." I called to do a trick question to the sales rep asking about the same part. He was going to take my order on it when I asked if it was in stock, he said he would check. He did say "no", but it would only take a week or two max for it to ship. I said I would think about it. Then I get another email later saying the part had been discontinued and I could get a similar light for almost $50 higher. I told them to forget it. Good thing it wasn't a major gift for my son.

Tip for consumers:
Just because something says "in stock." Always ask. Also get the persons first and last name that you spoke to.

The Magnaflow mufflers that I purchased from CarID looked nothing like the one pictured. The mufflers I received were quite ugly actually. Tack welds & scuffs marks all over the muffler housing. No brushed surface as pictured. Also there was no Magnaflow stamp. The mechanic at the shop told me that the Mufflers were not real Magnaflows. Another mechanic who had the opportunity to look at them as well at a different shop said the same thing. The measurements and specifications of size for the muffler where fine.
There was a MagnaFlow warranty as well as stickers in each box.
So there was no question that they were intended to be MagnaFlow.
I eventually ended up ordering them from MagnaFlow directly. I was informed by the representative that all MagnaFlow products are clearly Stamp & sold in Magnaflow branded boxing.

Purchased a caliper with 10yr 100K mile warranty. It failed 10k miles in. Ask for replacement which took forever to get a response. Finally was sent a replacement after some back and forth nonsense. The second one failed 8k miles in and again asked for replacement. They said its out of warranty because they already sent a replacement, therefore, the warranty is only 20days. Go to a real store with real products. I went to the store and replaced the caliper. Problem resolved. Wish I didn't waste my time and money giving Carid a chance for my automotive needs.

Ordered a rear spoiler for a 2011 Honda CRZ in smoke grey Metallic. Received rear spoiler in pearl white. That was on July 1st. Contact CAR I'd a total of four times before I received a return authorization. Filed a complaint with PayPal. Finally received an RA and wrong spoiler was received on July 14th at their suppler in Texas. I still have not received my full refund for an item I ordered correctly. Their customer service person told me they couldn't issue a refund because PayPal had the money and that I needed to cancel my dispute. When I contacted PayPal they said that was incorrect. To say that I am disappointed, in the way this entire order was handled, is an understatement. All they care about, was the rating I was giving on their customer service personnel, who didn't solve the problem I was having, which was just to get a return authorization.
