THIS PEOPLE ARE CHEATING PEOPLE, THEY SHOULD BE BANNED IN INDIA
One of the saddest experiences was my family trip to Calicut with this Hotel Yash, Because of reviews I tried to book online, but there was no booking option available, I called this hotel and they advised me to book through any other platform. As per my search I booked through Clear trip. I reached on 22. 10. 22. While checking in they showed the restaurant and told me breakfast was included. Next day when we were having my breakfast this people had come and told you they had to pay for that. I was very much shocked because I totally paid Rs *******. 00 to clear trip, as per their website this same room with extra bed is charging only Rs 4700. 00 including the breakfast. I paid so much extra money but I got bad treatment from this hotel.
Please never use Cleartrip. I had booked a ticket for my friend under freedom fare something they had when I was booking a ticket for her. With freedom fare, there is zero cancellation fees and you get your entire money back with even the fees included. They of course charge an extra amount for this. I bought a one way ticket for AED 529 with taxes and fees. I paid an extra AED 86 for freedom fare so when I request for a refund, I can get the full amount back. I cancelled the ticket and they gave me a refund of only AED224, that too after months of wait. I emailed them like 5 times over the course of 4 months and received the automated message saying you will receive a reply in 72 hours and last message there was absolutely no response. They have no phone no to call and chat option when you go to their site.
Cleartrip is clearly looting people. I paid the extra money so I don't loose any money. It may not be much but It's hard earned money and imagine if they do this to many people how much money are they grabbing. It's ridiculous and totally unprofessional and unethical from cleartrip's side.
The email says it all they got the money back from the airline but they never refunded to me and they have been writing automated, intimidating emails adding more nails to the coffin!
My trip I'd is **************. I have booked a ticket with cleartrip on 2nd march 2020 from dubai to Bangladesh return. Because of Covid pandemic I wasn6able to fly so cleartrip decided to refund the amount back to my account. But it's more then 8 months I am waiting for my refund. On 2t th March 2021 I receive a email from cleartrip that they have processed my refund and it will be credited in 6 days. But they didn't. Then I ask again then they send me a link to upload my bank details for refund I had sent that also. But still I disnt recieve my money back. I mean really this the way that you are treating your regular customers.

Answer: I'll keep it brief. We booked a ticket in August (India to Canada using Air France) this was before the air bubble restrictions were launched both on the website and in public knowledge. On the day of my Air France flight, Air France called me to tell me because of the airline restrictions I can't board the plane, the ticket was 1.83 lakhs for one way. We called Cleartrip right away to see what can be done about this - well firstly they've removed the option to call them so you're forced to email. They called us back and said we should hear back about a refund in two weeks. In two weeks nothing. As I mentioned that was August, it is now DECEMBER and we have had endless emails and calls with Cleartrip with no resolve. You'd think those emails would be something productive - but no! They are AUTOMATED emails, again and again. Every time someone calls me its a different person from their team who has no context about my use case and then says oh give us 72 hours to get back to you and then someone else calls me! And now they're saying because it's after the day of the flight that they can't guarantee the refund amount - have you heard of anyone cancelling a 1.83 lakh flight with NO GUARANTEE of the refund?! What if I get 100 rs back? Am I supposed to be okay with it? The biggest joke is that I called Air France directly and told them about this situation and they said in this circumstance we would have offered a full refund. The offered to convert my ticket into a voucher I could use till the end of 2022 with any of their airlines and had no idea why Cleartrip was saying they need to speak to them and happily left a remark on my ticket recommending a full refund. You thought that would help? Wrong. Since that remark, Cleartrip has now continued another three weeks of ridiculous automated emails with absolutely no indication of this remark or anything else helpful frankly. I'm very very sorry for you if you have to ever interact with Cleartrip support for anything. If you're booking a risky flight, be sure this is the wrong place for any kind of help.

Answer: Impossible. None of the contacts provided in the companies website are working. Customer service portal doesnot work. Only the refund related calls don't go through. All other dial options work. This looks like a complete fraud, which needs to be reported to the authority, which I will do if i do not get a response.
