I like DealDash partially because it is challenging. I would warn everyone to be cautious of their bids, and consider whether they are truly receiving a deal. There are professional users who know how to play the game, and will outbid you until the cows come home (and then some). Add the cost of bids and consider auctions lost- is it really less than shopping around and being patient for a deal somewhere else? Remember when you lose auctions, your bids pay for the winner's item (which is how the "deal" is possible)..
Had lots of fun with Labor Day bidding. Didn't win big, so I requested refund of initial bids. They quickly responded and refunded the $39, no questions. Deal Dash's money back guarantee is real.
I have always had a lot of nice winnings from dealdash including:
http://www.dealdash.com/battle.php?auction_id=*******
Where I spend like around $60.
But, the reason I am writing this is a recent customer care experience.
I placed a bid buddy which went above the actual price of the item.
When I communicated this to them, they refunded my bids without making me run through the hoopla (though with a warning, which I think is fair, that next time I should be careful when setting up the bidbuddy.
I tried this and have made bids, seems to be no time limits or end in sight so the bids keep going on and on and on. Just don't see how one can get anything. Possibly I don't understand it, but seems to me the auctions could go on for hours and hours.
Hi Claire. As soon as no bids are placed before the timer hits zero, the auction ends and the highest bidder wins an incredible bargain on the auction item. Shipping on DealDash is always free, and the auction winner will only have to pay for the final auction price to claim the win.
DealDash has no control of the duration of the auctions, and it is solely up to the bidders and their placed bids to determine when an auction ends. That’s what makes it so exciting – there are no reserve prices regardless of the value of the item, and any bid can truly be the last one. We have seen $3,000 TVs or $2,200 Macbooks get sold for just a few bids, and many other similar deals are made on DealDash every day.
Sometimes auctions can last for longer durations, and this is why we have a tool called the BidBuddy which you can utilize to bid on the auctions even when you're not on your computer. It will automatically place Bids for you within the last seconds of the auction. In fact, most auctions on DealDash are won with the BidBuddy.
Deal dash has the best customer service no hassles a very good site to be on
Very easy and convenient, was surprised at the response to my inquiry
My issue was taken care of immediately. I was quite satisfied.
WAS A FIRST TIME BIDDER. DIDN'T REALLY LIKE HOW SOME WERE BIDDING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE GETTING GREAT DEALS BUT I HAD TO GET OUT. REFUNDS ARE ALWAYS 100% WHICH WAS STATED. NOT SAYING ANYTHING BAD BUT HOPEFULLY I WELL RETURN AS A FUTURE BIDDER!
Graham was very knowledgeable with the service offered in this site. A good listener and was very fast in response and checking my account. My best customer service ever.
I am skeptical of anything that sounds to good to be true, so accordingly I had
Thought of numerous ways DealDash might not be legitimate and asked them
Numerous "gotcha" questions. They passed my litmus test with prompt and
Relevant (no BS) responses.
I will be signing up as soon as I need an item they might auction.
Received refund within a few days for unused bids. Am very pleased with prompt response time!
Web site froze on 2 seconds and didn't accept my bid. By the time it did, they had awarded the prize to the other person bidding. It happened on Sunday night also, but I contributed it to a flood of people using the site; But, today I realized there was a technical problem with the website and it was freezing up randomly and then unfreezing and you didn't know where you were. I hope you get this problem filtered soon. It really taints the game.
I love Deal Dash which i found to be a really honest site.
I have won item for a small cost many times
I had a problem with the bidding process and used my bids wrong I didn't understand the way you can bid. I contact customer service and within hours on a Sunday, they solve my issue and helped me with links to learn, and make my experience bidding an enjoyable time for me. Again, thank you.
I received and very timely and clear reply to my question about how it works. I was given an example that cleared up my understanding.
Deal dash really is a great site., I think one of the best online sites out there.
My grandkids are band from playing with my phone. I have enjoyed bidding and intend to again when I have time
My 1st round of bids and not accustomed on how to pay with multiple bids left me a little confused on how to pay for merchandise. Overall, it was a great inexpensive game to play!
I erringly thought I was getting a free trial only to find out that I had actually bought a bid package! I do not have internet service at my home at this time and didn't think I could adequately use the service, so I requested a refund. Within LESS than 24 hours I received a response from a rep and refund was in process, and was even told I could use the bids I had left without interfering with the refund request! What a wonderful opportunity and with absolutely NO HASSLE whatsoever! I will definitely become a member once I have internet at my home, and will recommend this company to all I talk to, and that's a lot!
Answer: Thats a hard question to answer, because it depends on the article, and its value. I will say I have won some great Articles, and lost many, maby more. The more valuable the article the harder to win. Personally, I gave up on Deal Dash due to the BID STOMPING and Jumpers and the gready nature of some bidders, who stockpile bids. Also, even though Deal Dash supposedly has means to catch Buddy Bidding, I myself have caught at least 4 people doing buddy bidding, reported it, and nothing was ever done about it. Finally I no longer play on Deal Dash, for the reasons I mentioned, but thats my choice. Its up to you, on what you want to do. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hi Beatriz, I want to start this conversation by inviting you to read our Audit Conducted by Ernst & Young: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdf Fair & Honest is a symbolic capture of DealDash's core values, and these certainly start and end with our commitment to being humanistic. I would love to show this to you, how can we help? Please let me know. Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi William. If you do not win an auction you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You have the option to use the Buy it Now button. By using the Buy it Now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. If you do not want to use Buy it Now you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want, so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer: Hi Julie, I hope you are having a wonderful day I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works. Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. Answer: Hi Elizaabeth, Thank you for getting in touch. We offer all of our customers a full money back guarantee for the first bid pack purchase. Our payments team can get in touch with you and issue a refund. Please send me a number we can call. My email is adrian@dealdash.com
Answer: Hi Patricia, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sure this has been a misunderstanding. DealDash is audited by Ernst & Young, confirming that all bids are placed by real customers and all items are delivered. DealDash members and their acquaintances are strictly banned from taking part in the auctions. My guess is that another user may have chosen a user name similar to DealDash. If so, we'll need to change it to avoid confusion. Please send me an email with your user name, so I can find the auctions and spot the user. My email is adrian@dealdash.com I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Adrian Community Manager

Answer: Hi Jasmine. All items on the site are brand new, factory sealed and come with standard manufacturer’s warranties. Vanessa, I am very sorry to hear you have felt that way. Could you please let me know your user name and I'll pull up your account? I'll be happy to assist with any concerns!
