I've been playing this since 2012 and have won many items. It's a great way to purchase items at a low cost.

My experience with Deal Dash customer service was superb. If ever I use an online auction they will be my choice.

They charge for every bid placed. The buy it now price is higher then retail prices. This company is a scam.

Sounds like an absolute deal Johnny, I'm happy to hear of your great win and Happy Bidding!
I have some learning to do. It was horrible, after my big mistake, then you helped me correct it. So now I'm looking forward to many hours of fun

My experience was:
* i joined and spent $21 on 60 bids
* i amazingly "won" 4 auctions for $10 gift cards (Burger King, Dunkin Donuts etc) for less than 10 cents
* i "won" an auction for 60 bids for $5.40
* i started looking for deals on stuff I wanted, figuring "what the heck, if I don't win, i'll pay full price". I identified a cordless phone set from Panasonic
* I spent all 90 of my bids on that item, and did not win it
So: to summarize:
* I spent $21 + $5 = $26
* i "won" $ 40 worth of gift cards
* I realized it was a worthless waste of time and money and stopped before giving them another penny.
NOTE 1 -- their "if their full price" were legit, I would use this site still. But you can *ALWAYS* find the same exact product on Amazon for 10-20% less. Their price is what I would call FULL RETAIL, which noone ever pays. So yeah, you can bid until you are blue in the face, and then pay FULL PRICE and get all of those bids back --- but you are paying WELL OVER FAIR MARKET PRICE
NOTE 2 - an auction for something worth $100 that sells even for $20 (great deal) takes 4 hours + to finish. (bids come in at, generally, 9 second intervals once the auction "settles in"). I don't know about you, but my time is move valuable that that.
Date of experience: December 20, 2013
Hi Sandro, why the negative rating? The "full price" comes directly from our partners like Best Buy meaning we price match them and many times this price is the lowest you can find anywhere. As for your second note, yes it can take some time for the auction to end so if you have the patience you can get some really good deals. Please let us know what we can do to improve your experience. Thank you.
I m new and don't quite have the hang of it yet but with using the buddy bed I'm hoping to do much better and actually win an auction

Deal Dash is a really great way to score some stuff in my experience, but beyond the simple mechanics of how it works, a few other bits of advice before you go nuts:
1) Observe, observe, observe! Nearly every item up for auction will come up for auction again. Especially when you are starting out, watch and learn who the big players are and how they are bidding. You are going to get blown out of the water and have a bad experience if you spend what you consider a lot of bids, only to lose against someone who was always going to bid way more than you could. The joy of Deal Dash comes in those miracle wins when no one is watching.
2) Don't expect luxury items because you see luxury prices. Particularly with the recurring brands that you see constantly - the ones that present as a luxury brand but you've never heard of until now. Everything I have won is quality, but it's not luxury quality.
3) Realize that the retail prices Deal Dash displays are massively inflated. You might see that as a bad thing, but consider that this also prevents the top players from blowing every single auction out of the water with massive numbers of bids, knowing that they can "Buy It Now" for a much smaller and more realistic retail rate and get all those bids back on top of it.
4) It should go without saying, but stick to a budget. Deal Dash is entertainment money. It is not going to help you make ends meet if you are struggling. There are very few items on DD that anyone really *needs*. I've seen people waste colossal amounts of bids (way more than they could earn for free), and yet these are some of the same people whose profile implies they are struggling.
Don't be dumb, and Deal Dash may turn out to be a lot of fun!

I tried deal dash fro the first time. I placed some bids and wanted to see if I would win. I didnt of course so, I looked at some other purchases. I seen a lady won a Ps5 for 10 bucks then, then I scroll down to see a ps5 going for 1200 bucks! Im like thats weird, how did that lady win a ps5 for 10 bucks and the other ps5 is wayyyy pass 10 bucks, so, I did some snooping around. Same thing with other prizes. Dude won "$300" pair of handphones for 1.70 and the same headphones are pass $295 in the bidding! The winners I've seen so far are weird avatars (I don't think deal dash shoul use btw) and the names ALLLLLL have somethings stranger like buttersammy23, truckerbob394, av293paper, etc. I seen sale for 500 bids go for 120 bucks when you can buy 600 bids for 72 bucks. This site is hella weird and to avoid at all cost. Either bots or employees bidding on these items to get you to buy more bids.
Tip for consumers:
run, don't use. other places that offer lower prices

Competing with team bidders getting old, but I do enjoy trying to get items that I would be buying anyway.
Date of experience: February 5, 2014
Hi Floyd, thank you for the review. It's strictly forbidden to participate as a team. We have systems in place to monitor this and we encourage you to always report anything to the customer support team so it can be investigated. The case you reported was investigated however after a thorough examination of bidding patterns and users it was determined no team play was actually taking place.
We hope you continue to enjoy your shopping and bidding experience and are more assured of the measures we have in place. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Sincerely, Dave

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
Hi David,
On DealDash, you do have to pay for bid credits. We explain the way the service works on our website: www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work
The Buy it Now price you'll find is the same as in the brand's official website or official Amazon seller store. We're a BBB accredited business with a maximum rating of A+. We're committed to provide the best online shopping experience to our 10 million registered US shoppers.
