Very great full for the way they sorted out my problem and the speed in which they did it. Product itself met my expectations and is very useful in my daily life. All in all, very satisfied with the product and would recommend to a friend.
Have been a cusomer since 1917, and the vacuum cleaner I purchased then, a Vax is till going stong. I've just purchased a Goblin 2 in1 from them mainly because it makes vacuuming the stair way easier. Cannot fault this Company for any reason, I have no hesitation in recommending them. You can buy with confidence and know if there is a problem, they will sort it extremely quickly.
I ordered a Vytronix Lion 29 cordless vacuum from Direct Vacuums and I must admit I was very impressed with the whole system. To do this review properly I will have to do it with a sequence of events and timings and hope it makes sense.

Next day I emailed Customer service for a tracking number. This was on 23rd Feb at 10:54.

Vacuum delivered around 13:00 on 23rd Feb.
So the whole thing from order to delivery just over 24 hours. I cannot fault the service nor, more importantly to me, the Customer Service I received when making an enquiry, (Thank You Mya).
Although the vacuums are 'refurbished' the item arrived looking brand new and with 1 year guarantee, how could you go wrong or pay full price?
The vacuum itself is not good for full home use but I only bought it for the stairs and car cleaning, so the 40 minute runtime is great for me.
Very pleased with the purchase and the service received along with a simple tracking system by Yodel for delivery.

I wanted a Braun steam generator iorn but a over £200 a tad too expensive. I went on Google in hunt for a Braun to my delight I saw one for £99.00 I did a bit of a search about the Merchant that advertised it.one Direct Vacuum these boys really play hard. Firstly they never answer the phone, the reply to one email out of12 or more not telling me where the Braun that I spent the day it was supposed to come is only to tell me that their phones are down. Cut to the chase I peppered them with emails with some really fruity swearing. Door bell rang yesterday a courier grinning at me box in hand before I could say Bob is your uncle he bolted to his van, gone. Then only me a £49.00 Tefal opened the beat up box and it stank. Phoned straight away same old same old woman telling me not to hang up because an agent will be with you soon. Their returns policy reads like a scammers charter. I will be sending it back tomorrow will also have a chat with trading standards I am sure what they did in really off the scale. Ho can they thank you for the order telling me what is comming my way only to see a smelly old box stuffed with paper anda lousy refurbished TEFAL.
I ordered a 'new' Vax cordless vacuum cleaner 7 days ago for £79. I started to worry a couple of days later when I still hadn't received confirmation of my order.
I have emailed and left notes on their contact page every day since... Still nothing, no vacuum cleaner and no response to my emails.
OK so day 8 I had a reply where they said they'd look into it. 2 days later it arrived, to be honest after reading all the bad reviews here this was a celebration moment.
I rapidly unpacked... The main parts appeared to be new, as advertised, but the floor part had scuffs on both sides and a few hairs so was obviously not new. I was still on a high from actually getting something for my money. It was charged so I tried it out and it seems to work OK, however it ran out of charge after about 5 minutes. It was at this point that I realised there was no charger.
I messaged direct vacuums and they apologised and asked for some info. After i supplied the info I had a message to apologise and to tell me that the charger would be sent out ASAP.
Fingers crossed I may have a fully working machine soon so I've upped my rating to 3.
From that first reply, they have kept in contact perfectly.
I bought a Vax Blade Ultra TBT3V1P2 Cordless 32V Stick Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner from this company. It arrived in just a couple of days and works perfectly. A £300+ cleaner for £79! In fact I have just bought another - for family or a back up. Really pleased
I was initally sent the wrong item, but the problem was very satisfactorily solved with the help of the managing director; would buy through them again.
Worst company I have ever dealt with. My vacuum stopped working after one use. Customer service take weeks to reply, they lie about refunds being issued. Finally received refund after waiting over two months. Shop elsewhere.
Bought a vacuum with a description that clearly stated 'brand new'.
Item delivered was not brand new - no packaging, no instruction booklet/docs, all but one tool attachment was missing, physical damage to the cleaner (extensive scrapes/gouging around the brush head housing). And, most of all, the item doesn't work (doesn't even switch on)
Direct vacuums aren't taking calls, so I emailed them requesting a full refund within 7 days.
When they eventually responded (day 5), they only offered a partial refund or exchange. I have rejected this and requested a full refund. Still awaiting on their response a further 5 days on.
Appalling customer service.
I've had to put it in the hands of PayPal to hopefully get a resolution, and will be contacting their local Trading Standards Office to lodge a complaint..
Bought a Vax vacuum(as new) battery lasted just over a month! Awful,,, cowboys, when i told them about battery they said the wanted full vacuum back,,, at my cost! £13! Went out and had to buy another Battery £79.99... tried for a little compensation = NO CHANCE... pity i cant leave NO STARS

On 06/Jul, I am working from home all day. No one ring the bell. But their courier Yodel said goods was delivered to my neighbor.
Checked with neighbor, they have not receive anything from them.
Yodel saying delivered to my neighbor who is a female, but my neighbor is a male. Totally bull $#*!.
Try to raise refund with Direct Vacuums, they refused, because they said it was delivered, but it is a lie.
They don't even follow up with courier.
No any after sales service.
I would prefer pay a bit more to buy it from Amazon.
Basically, it is totally mess.

This company has taken payment from me and not delivered the product, they didn't even give me an order confirmation by email. It was meant to be next day delivery but it now 6 days later with no sign of the product. I have sent several emails to customer support but have had no reply, I have contacted support through the website but had no reply and to make matters worse they don't answer their phones. I honestly think this could be a scam and they don't actually sell vacuums. AVOID
Very bad customer service. I tried buying a hoover and they didn't send me a receipt. Trying to get hold of them is a problem. Been emailing them with no reply. They are working from home but that's no excuse for the inability to get back to me or anyone else. Not sure what to do know as I may have paid for something that I might not get
I have ordered two vacuum cleaners from this company upon arrival the vacuum cleaner had missing parts, had hair on the hose pipe and broken. Although, the item I ordered on their website mentioned it was new with damaged / missing box but the item is new.
This was far from what's stated, it was an substandard used product which was dirty, filthy and full of hair in the hose pipe.
Returned the product however, finding it very difficult to get the refunds now.
Still chasing the company for refunds with lack of real communication and no customer service phone available or complaint handling process.
Would strongly recommend to think twice before buying on this website.
Went to hoover and bought a new item as stated.
Bought a Bissett carpet cleaner that was faulty. Seven emails later, I have still not been refunded. This company is a joke. They claim you get a year's warranty which they do not deliver on. I am now out of pocket with a faulty product. Customer service is shocking!
I purchased a new vacuum cleaner from this company, the goods delivered were damaged, returned to them and they have failed to supply a replacement product and have not refunded me. Avoid dealing with them is my advice

Interesting that there are hundreds of presumably fake 2 line positive reviews on Trustpilot, but they haven't started spamming those on here, so you get a real picture.
I only wish I'd read the reviews here before placing an order with these cowboys, as my experience seems to be far too normal.
I ordered a 'new' vacuum for next day delivery. Days later I received a filthy, badly damaged, very 'used' vacuum, in far worse condition than the 8 year old one I bought it to replace.
It took 2 weeks of chasing and threat of court action/instigating mastercard chargeback to get a refund.
They did eventually refund, at least. Some it seems were not so lucky.
Ordered a refurbished Vax upright cleaner as a gift. Arrived looking like it had been jet washed and not dried before sending... stinks of damp. Handle is from a different vacuum cleaner (wrong colour) but the worst thing is the motor last all of 1-2mins before it overheats and cuts out. Can't phone customer service, 1 automated style email reply in 4 days telling me to check and clean the filters/hoses. That isn't the issue and they should surely have checked its in working order before dispatching. Going to have to order one from Amazon and fight for a refund. I've heard nothing but bad things from friends too. If you want to order a refurbished vacuum its not worth the £20 saving...

'Refurbished product' I received didn't work, it was broken, faulty, useless.
The company made it very difficult to return the item insisting three times for an exchange before issuing a DPD 'pick-up' return label where I would have to carry the 3kg+ bulky vacuum cleaner 0.5 miles to the nearest 'pick-up' store in order to return and refund my (faulty!) item.
I have a Royal Mail over the road and they were unwilling to meet me halfway on this and pay for return postage from RM.
So much time and energy wasted with these guys. Do yourself a favour and buy from someone more trustworthy with better customer care.
