I have used Doordash, cancelled my subscription, reinstated my subscription, but this will be the last time I have a subscription. Doordash stands behind poor customer service. Should your meal arrive late or have missing items, it can take an hour or more to get it corrected. I have been told that I would receive no compensation for wrong items because I had complained in the past. Seriously? Blaming the customer instead of the business. The latest took it all. In an email, I was promised over $18 in credit due to a poor order. Nope. Not there. I responded to the email and then was told that since I already had a credit (from a previous poor order), they would refund to my original payment just under $3. When questioned about there being an obligation to honor what was promised to me, two and a half hours later, I won't be getting credits for one of the worst experiences ever! This is a company who honors poor businesses and still wonders why customers rate it so low. To add to the insult, I still wonder why during one of my calls for support, my age was mentioned. I may be elderly, but I am not stupid. Hoping to prey on the elderly is just disgusting and another reason to stay away from this so called business.
I ordered from this app twice last week. My first issue was, they had a restaurant that wasn't even connected to this site. The driver and the restaurant tried to call me but this app didn't let them reach out to me. I had to call the restaurant to fix the problem. I had to contact the help desk twice to fix this problem. Couple days later I ordered food from another state for my aunt. The restaurant got her order wrong. I called the restaurant they were closed early because of the holiday. When I contact the help desk, they sucked. They gave me a refund that wasn't even near the amount I spent. I sent my receipt to them and didn't want to give me full refund. They still owe me money. This company sucks

Door Dash SUCKS! I received food that was raw and inedible and they hid behind "policy" and wouldn't reimburse! Absolute crap! This service sucks! And they're customer service is the worst I've ever experienced! They couldn't even tell me what "policy" doesn't let them reimburse for food that's inedible! Use any other service! This one sucks!
How dare you treat customers like this!
First off, I'm a driver. And while some of us have no business even picking our nose, many of us do a pretty good job. This, despite some restaurants not having the orders ready and us having to wait a half hour just for the food. Or, some of them not filling or packing the orders correctly. Guess what happens when they put a cup of soup in a loose container then put that cup in a paper bag? Or, when the customer doesn't even know where they live or the driver has to go onto a military that requires an hour-long wait to get a pass to make their deliveries, all the while the food gets cold? It's not always easy delivering so some screwups happen that aren't the drivers' fault. Still, to me the job is usually fun and if you have more than a couple of brain cells to rub together you can make a few bucks and create happy customers.
If I could give them a -star rating I would do it! I have had nothing but problems with overcharges, deliveries not on time or delivery times changed without consent. DoorDash is the worst business I have ever experienced. I have used them very few times and it was a terrible experience each time.
I ordered food from doordash the total on the bill was $31 the food was incorrect it contained bananas I'm allergic so I called them they offered me a refund of $5.33 towards a $31 order I was unable to eat anything they are ridiculous the price is for what I ordered was $19 for pancakes for 3 of them Which I can get the same size pancakes at McDonald's for $3 they are ridiculous they're unbelievable their customer service is a joke I will never again order from them and I suggest nobody else does Either they do not fix their issues or make refunds for incorrect items doordash is a scam their prices are unbelievable
I will never order from doordash again I ordered today for the first and last time the driver was rude and ignorant she took my order to the wrong house and refused to go back and get it she said there was nothing she could do and hung up she needs to be fired I am posting the number she called from so everyone will know she is rude and uneducated *******7214 please dont make the same mistake I did
Can't get English speaking operators. Usually from some Spanish speaking country or middle eastern. How about hiring people who can speak well and understand. Most just say I'm sorry for your issue they read off a script most of the time. How hard is it.
The amount of times door dash has not only screwed over me, a customer, and the dashers is absolutely horrible. 3 TIMES has there been a conflict between purely dd and the dasher or the dasher and restaurant or between all 3! I always get the sweetest dashers so i KNOW this has nothing to do with them. Its the company. I always ask them to get a settlement from dd and i tip when allowed while getting refunded. At this point all door dash is, is a scam.
The dasher was just horrible. He uses the N word and other profanity. He wanted us to come to meet at a different location other than the address. And customer service was useless. I seriously want to get a lawyer for the way I was treated
The Door dash driver delivered my medications (5 total) to the wrong apartment in my complex. She said a woman told her she was me and supposedly signed for it. Then she even said she went back to the apartment to retrieve my order but no one was home. The next day I found out that the apartment was vacant for at least a week. She ended up leaving my order inside a vacant apartment. She obviously lied about someone signing for it, going back to retrieve my order etc. I got no real help from door dash. If I hadn't done all the research, which took me 24 hours and a tremendous amount of stress, I would never have gotten my meds back. I only use door dash cuz that's who my pharmacy uses for delivery. Suffice it to say I will NEVER order anything from them. If I could give them a negative star, I would.
They screwed up my orders so many times, that they refused to give me a refund on my last order. I paid $95 for cold food and on top of that, the driver ruined my yard after driving through the wet grass! Don't waste your time or money.
Forgot half our food, was supposed to redeliver - said that they had and then found out the restaurant never received our re-order. Get it together!
Doordash only has to do one thing - get food to customers on time. They are obviously completely useless at it. My first Doordash order - I waited two hours for them to deliver a single item, a burrito from a Mex restaurant that is, at most, 2km away. Extraordinarily, the deliverer used a car, not a bike, therefore had got stuck in Sydney lunchtime traffic rather than being able to cut through it - unlike any other delivery firm. Never again.
Quality of the service, mainly the app to the merchant not sending orders correctly. There's clearly a bug in their app. The last several orders have been either completely wrong, or incomplete. The only resolution that they offer is a resolution of a refund, which doesn't cover all the tip, nor delivery fee.
No matter what, they manage to get a few dollars from you every time, whether your order is correct or not.
I've spoken with ALL the merchants on ALL of my incorrect orders, and it is CLEARLY the DoorDash app that is the problem. The merchants didn't even receive the proper order to deliver. So, DoorDash's review of those merchants are completely unfair because the merchants aren't receiving the proper order from app.

Doordash is the worst. They do not deliver food, their customer service resolves nothing and they overcharge. They accomplish nothing that they purport to do. DO NOT USE.
If I could give a negative 100, I would. Doordash tried to blame a local restaurant for something that is clearly an issue with their drivers and refused to refund a meal I had to toss out due to it being 2 hours late. When I requested to deactivate my account, I got hung up on. Then I got transferred to 3 different departments before they sent me to the correct one and was finally able to delete my account an additional hour later. I'm furious. Just use Uber Eats, y'all. Much better, seamless service and it's honestly a better developed and more efficient app.

Answer: Grubhub has lower rates now. Even on restaurants with higher fees, it is worth avoiding Doordash
Answer: They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful
Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
