Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.
Driver ate my 55.00 worth of wings after picking up from restaurant then cancelled the order while my credit card was charged you suck and need to be investigated for your criminal activity.

I took an online course for DoorDash on or about July 13th of this year and DoorDash has not paid for the participation of me and several others after you are required to complete the course. I don't know about the other Dashers but 50$is alot of money to myself! I emailed and called several times
The food came late, cold and only a portion of my order. Driver said, "that all they gave me."

Stay away customer service is awful you can not submit a feedback app doesn't allow you or website is experiencing technical difficulties and the drivers don't use their thermo cooler bags
Stay away from Door Dash. They tack on an extra cost to the food and advertise free delivery. I paid $12.74 to have a $21.02 order delivered. It was advertised as free delivery. Don't get ripped off!
Their dasher can never read instructions! I live in a trailer park, and always include EXPLICIT instructions that makes it easy to find my place, yet they can never find it! When they call me because they're lost, they still can't follow verbal instructions and IF my food arrives AT ALL, IT'S COLD! I agreed to dash-credits once, and now they refuse to refund the money to my original payment method, even if I pay extra on top of the credits, even though I paid MORE! NEVER ACCEPT DASH-CREDITS, because after you do, you are second class to them! I learned an expensive lesson, one I will NEVER repeat, PLEASE learn from my experience, and order with ANYONE ELSE!
The last three times my food had been cold and soggy. And because of that it tasted awful, so I ended up throwing it out! Big waste of money! I'm never ordering with door dash again.
Ok today order from johnnys pastrami. They first told me I cancel the order I did not. So I order again. To find out the merchant cancel the order. Door dash told me my food would be deliver on the 2nd order to find out the driver called and stated the merchant was not dealing with dood dash. Not mind you they have 60.00 dollars of my money and refuse to put back on my card until 5 to 7 business days. I told them I am a senior citizen and that was all my money and now I am not able to order nothing to eat. They refuse to refund my money until 5 to 7 days. I feel this is wrong the merchant cancel the orders but I have to wait for my money. I will start using postmates or any other food delivery company. How could not refund my money in a timely you took it. I am done with door dash
Absolutely horrible company. I have ordered from them quite often because of this pandemic and every single time I order from a store I am missing items. This past time I ordered from Walgreens and my bill was over $70 (Only bought a few things but you know Doordash has to raise the prices drastically), anyways 4 of the items I ordered were not delivered. I looked at the Walgreens receipt and the total was correct for these missing items $54ish but Doordash charged me for the entire order (Over $70) even though those items weren't included! I contacted them to get a refund and they say "Oh sorry, you have complained too much in the past and have gotten too many refunds so you can't get anymore". WTF. Every time I complained to get a refund was because Doordash RIPPED ME OFF by charging full price when I didn't get all my items. I really hope someone starts a class action against this company. They are absolute trash.
As much as I like the idea if Doordash. And because of my situation I have used it often. But they DO NOT follow special instructions. AND I had an issue with being overcharged and filed a complaint and NOTHING was ever done about it.
Alas, I was initially a fan of DoorDash. After being burned by Postmates, I was happy that DoorDash delivered to my neighborhood. Until they didn't.
For two months, July and Augst 2017, I enjoyed deliveries via DoorDash. Specically, I had five successful deliveries from one restaurant located just over a mile from my apartment. However, I could not check out today because suddenly I was "outside of DoorDash's delivery radius."
I hoped it was a mistake so I called Customer Service. They confirmed it was not a mistake but had no explanation why I suddenly could not get a delivery. I told them alas, I knew **exactly why** because it happens with disturbing regularity when you live above 100th Street in New York City.
Once again, apparently I live too close to Harlem and thus I can't have nice things. It is really tiresome, it's not a coincidence that it keeps happening with delivery services here and it just plain SUCKS.
Dont ever use Door Dash for food delivery! After a funeral I attended on Saturday Oct 12 in Santa Cruz, CA my girlfriend and I were too wiped out to go out to get something to eat so we decided to order in Thai food. I downloaded the Door Dash app, made the order, paid with my credit card and the food never arrived. The app said it was delivered. I called the restaurant and at first they said they didn't receive the order. Then I called back and the person acknowledged the order and said it was on its way. It still never arrived and when I called back they said they were closed and to contact Door Dash. I went onto their app and notified them that the order never arrived. I didn't hear anything back from them and went back onto the app today and got their Chat person who said because it was after 2 days they could not refund my money! Needless to say I contacted my bank to deny the charge on my card and am now letting people know NEVER TO USE DOOR DASH!
I started dashing for extra money for my 501c3 nonprofit. Started driving for door dash during the pandemic since then this company has gone down. Customers will lie and they won't care even when showing proof. When starting I was located in Alabama and was a 5-star dasher, only have located in Nevada for two months and ended up being deactivated for no reason. When dumping into other dashers, they have nothing nice to say about the company and complain about how they pin dashers and divers agest each other and never show support or responsibility.
I don't even want to put ONE star...there needs to be an option for zero. The driver never delivered my order but completed it in the app so I couldn't contact him again. I paid for part of it with a gift card and after talking to 3 people at Doordash on the phone, I have been told that I will not be getting my refund from the use of the gift card despite the fact that I got NOTHING for my money. They have lost me and several family members as customers because of this and I want to shout it from the rooftops how awful their customer service is, how unhelpful their app is, and how horrible their policies are to hard-working people who are trying to feed their families and end up getting NOTHING and still paying. Disgraceful.
As someone who orders $1,000 per month worth of food from food delivery apps, I am more than qualified to tell everyone – NEVER USE DOORDASH.
I recently received an order that was NOT what I ordered -- the food had been dropped and tampered with (the photo is literally what I found when I opened the box).
I called Doordash and was escalated to 3 people in 40 minutes, and STILL no resolution or refund. I subsequently called the restaurant and they confirmed they did not drop the food -- clearly.
The final person on their escalation team refused to refund my money and said they would call me back. Still waiting for that call. I wasted nearly an hour dealing with these imbeciles. So I am going to dispute the transaction directly with my bank.
Doordash delivery service is horrendous. I have received numerous late orders, someone else's order entirely (on multiple occasions), and food that was tampered with!
Doordash customer service is abysmal (on hold for 30+ minutes); they scrape the bottom of the barrel when hiring drivers and customer service reps.
Seriously, I've never had multiple headaches and issues -- with one delivery app -- that compares to Doordash and their company-wide incompetence. I am deleting the app today and will never place another Doordash order and ensure everyone I know does the same.
My doordash account keep on getting deactivated and best part is customer service doesn't have any clue. Everytime I need to place an order I had to create new account. Once I place an order from the new account, it gets deactivated and I can't place orders. They want me to starve for 24 hours to get my account back and then place an order. What a garbage service. I vote for ubereats and grubhub. Will recommend not to use this doordash service. Its a doortrash not doordash
If I can give them zero stars are negative number of stars I would it was a matter of about four times where my order was canceled at the last minute once I was already expecting the food and it was late. They would live on text message telling me that the Dasher was at the restaurant waiting on order that was a lie. They did not call me I had to call them and then they refunded my money and wanted me to wait 5 to 7 business days to get my money back. I paid for my food that night and my husband works overnight. I place the order around 7 PM to make sure you had something on his stomach they canceled it around 8:15 and then offered me a $10 credit. Are there customer service reps that I spoke to had a very hard Indian accent and when I asked to get a callback from the manager they told me it would take 24 to 48 hours very unprofessional I would not recommend door dash to anyone you make out better walking to get your food
I don't recommend anyone use this service. They double charged my credit card for a dashpass refuse to refund the extra charge then right after charging my card 2x for a dashpass they canceled my account. They are a dishonest company and from all the negative reviews they have it's very clear they shouldn't be in business.
The drivers delivery late or don't deliver at all, deliver to wrong address, cold food, fees are ridiculous, never follow delivery instructions.

I have used Doordash, cancelled my subscription, reinstated my subscription, but this will be the last time I have a subscription. Doordash stands behind poor customer service. Should your meal arrive late or have missing items, it can take an hour or more to get it corrected. I have been told that I would receive no compensation for wrong items because I had complained in the past. Seriously? Blaming the customer instead of the business. The latest took it all. In an email, I was promised over $18 in credit due to a poor order. Nope. Not there. I responded to the email and then was told that since I already had a credit (from a previous poor order), they would refund to my original payment just under $3. When questioned about there being an obligation to honor what was promised to me, two and a half hours later, I won't be getting credits for one of the worst experiences ever! This is a company who honors poor businesses and still wonders why customers rate it so low. To add to the insult, I still wonder why during one of my calls for support, my age was mentioned. I may be elderly, but I am not stupid. Hoping to prey on the elderly is just disgusting and another reason to stay away from this so called business.
I had an employee from door dash by the name of Darcy k come into the store that I work at being extremely rude to everyone of my employees because her Order was not finished I understand it should of been made but are ticket machine was not printing tickets and I tried multiple times to fix it and it just wasn't printing. I polietly told her about are machine not printing tickets she was not The only driver waiting for someone's food. I asked her what was all on the order because "She cleared it off her phone " so it clears off my tablet too therefore I couldn't see what was needed for her order. She was mad that I didn't make the drinks for her and I told her I'm sorry it's not our policy when delivery drivers come in they grab the drinks and whatever sides the customer had. She just kept going off on me and the other employees at the establishment I was very upset.
Zero stars! Doordash is the worst delivery service ever! They lie and say they've completed the order but they don't deliver! Twice, for different deliveries, they have NOT made it to our house with our food/groceries, but they say the order was delivered. They lie and charge us for our order but don't deliver. I've had to call the merchants back and have my order cancelled or re-delivered. Doordash is terrible and hires terrible people that should not be trusted. DO NOT USE DOORDASH EVER FOR ANYTHING! EVER!
