I have had three cancellation of my orders from DOORDASH at the last minute to be told system malfunctions, They are not dependable for food delivery. I work from home and unable get out for lunch due to workload deadlines and receiving these not being able to receive your order due to cancellation at the last minute is not good and the important factor is, I did not cancel any of the orders. This has happened to me three times within the span of three weeks, then you have to wait for your refund three to five days. I AM DONE WITH THESE PEOPLE!
I have been making multiple attempts to get through to someone who can help me, but the agents keep making me email. I get no response. Someone has been using my bank card to purchase through Door Dash, so obviously they do not check or verify who is purchasing through their site. HORRIBLE I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND!
Order $100 in food from Applebees waited two hours for the food, when it came it was one sandwich from Panera worth $10. Called doordash costumer service they told me that I would have to call the restaurant since I want thourgh there app. But told them that it wasn't the restaurant fault it was the drivers fault, he didn't even bring me the food from the right restaurant they pretty much told me that didn't matter that I would have to call them, so I called them then they told me I had to call doordash, called doordash back and argued with them for an hour for them to refund the money, two weeks later finally got my money back worst service ever... Never again, and will never order thourgh any restaurant that use them for there main delivery on there web page.
Dear "Heart-Bashers" We rely on the Daily money we make to feed our families, and if we had money saved up in our multiple bank accounts as backup for times like we're in right now, then trust me we won't be risking our lives as well as our families lives to deliver a big-Mac for $5 in the middle of nowhere, and for you! I mean you HEART-BASHERS to come and decide when I should get my fast money, and have the nerves to disable it for 7 days. SHAME SHAME ON YOU for being completely inhumane and unprofessional for doing this. We going through crisis, and people are living day by day, and that's how you help you SHARKS. My newborn CRIED ALL DAY hungry waiting for his daddy to show up with his formula. So very thankful to Uber-eats instant pay. Again SHAME ON YOU FROM YOUR HEADS TO YOUR NASTY TOES FOR BEING SO UNPROFESSIONAL.
Restaurant messed up the order and they will only give me a $7.50 refund on a $41 order and restaurant can't do anything since we ordered through Doordash. They even said to stay away from them.
Website is easy to usr and order went smoothly but I couldn't believe the final price.
All I wanted was a $12 entree and was stuck at home.
After minimum purchase requirement is met (or "too small order penalty") AND delivery fee AND service fee (?) AND mandatory 10% minimum tip (on the whole total after the extra fees are added) my total ballooned to $$THIRTY THREE$$ dollars.
$12 --> $33
I cannot fathom how enough people are willing to pay 250% more just for delivery. It is far cheaper to pick up yourself or even order delivery from traditional pizza or Chinese joints.
Who uses this service regularly?
If youve suffered a debilitating injury and are housebound this is at least an option not to starve.
Otherwise WAAAAAYYY too freaking expensive to recommend.
I order food using doordash. I place 2 different orders. The driver picked up one order and didn't pick up my other order but confirmed he did. When he got to my house he only had my shake from one spot. When I asked him about my wings. He stated he only had one stop. But I seen him go to Wingstop. I have him on my ring camera stating he didn't go. But door dash will not refund me for the food I did not get. Please do not order with doordash. They do not care about the customers rights. For now on it is only right for me to order through UBER EATS. UBER EATS IS A LOT BETTER AND PROFESIONAL.
Aweful customer service and they don't fully refund for cold food that I threw away. The lady said she had to contact the store to see what she could do I guess?
It won't let me log in to either of my accounts. Not to mention it's extremely overpriced. It should not cost $60 to order from a fast food restaurant for 2 people.
Worst experience ever was just trying to get help transferring funds from one account to another definitely couldn't get through to her because she did not speak fluent or understand English

Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
