Door Dash customer support person Clark David M, refused to refund us for items never received. We have multiple front door cameras and were watching them during the ETA, but no car or person came near our address or rang our door bell. Clark David M responds stating that it is DOORDASH POLICY TO NOT REFUND FOR ITEMS NOT RECEIVED. Therefore, anyone can work for Doordash, not deliver items and refuse refund. This was our 2nd time ordering from Doordash and our last time. The first time, the food arrived cold, but we said nothing. DOORDASH IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. WE HAVE CAMERAS TO PROVE IT.

THE WORST! The driver apparently stood OUTSIDE of my place of business, never bothered to go in. Called and texted (I was in a meeting) demanding I call him back but the number he left COULD NOT BE CALLED INTO. So after an hour I got customer service on the line who said they could process a refund 5-7 DAYS FROM NOW! This place is a ripoff
I placed an order for over $70, order was almost two hours late, and the food was cold. Customer service was rude, and did nothing to rectify the situation
Extremely poor scheduling from door dash! They added deliveries to my dashers route which then made my food over an hour late for the second time today! I use door dash a lot because of where I work and my inability to go places other than on foot. So outside of a few things I have from the store in a styrofoam cooler in my hotel room I use them for convenience and so I can try different things that are too far for walking.
I spend way too much money on delivery and tips for my food to be cold when it gets to me! Why would someone spend so much to get mediocre food and horrible service! They barely even tried to help when I called customer service even though they know I'm a valued customer that has used them a lot.
I certainly don't feel like it used to be this bad. I've had small issues in the past with them but I'm pretty laid back and never felt it was bad enough to complain but it's getting so much worse. Awful business model and even crappier service! They are just out to make as much money as they can and they don't care about quality or service! I won't be using their service anymore.
The door dasher delivered my food to the wrong address. They took a picture of my food with the wrong door and address but refused to give me a refund.
Never got my order, we were told they would call (never did), and then notified us that they determined that we would not get a refund

Doordash allows hackers to place fake orders on your cards and steal your personal information. They even tried to blackmail me, and Doordash offered no compensation.
Ordered from DoorDash yesterday. Used their online site, not app. I have used DoorDash before and seen tech problems but this was the worst. I was ordering lunch and desert from the CheeseCake Factory. ($6.99 delivery fee).
As I ordered, the cart kept saying it was empty. So I kept putting the same items in the cart. The site never synced, never said "order placed." Finally it did.
Twenty minutes later there were 5 ORDERS on my porch from Cheesecake Factory. Then not ten minutes after that, two more came! I never got any texts that my ordered was being prepared, only several AFTER it had been delivered.
I called DoorDash and they said someone would get back to me, they haven't. Unlike GRUBHUB, DoorDash doesn't care. They have no real support and have had tech problems forever. I am out $200 for a bunch of desserts I never ordered.
Am taking this up with my bank but in the meantime, am definitely calling the Better Business Bureau. DON'T LET DOORDASH CONTINUE TO RIP US OFF, be vocal.
I have been a loyal DoorDash customer for years now. I have the annual DashPass and I almost order every single day.
Like it happens with all companies that get big, they do not give two f$@"s about a simple customer, no matter how many times in a day they order.
My latest ordeal with them was that my order was delivered to the wrong place. The dasher did not even have a working number so I was not able to reach out to him.
I of course contacted customer support and explained the situation. Their solution? A simple refund of my order. No I apologize, no I am sorry for the inconvenience, here is a coupon, so you can keep spending money on our app…
After I complained about that, they offered a 10 dollar coupon for a 50 dollar order that never arrived and we are now talking almost 2 hours after I placed the order.
I asked to escalate the situation and speak with a manager. Whoever they put next as a "supervisor" took forever to answer and "the best they can do is 15 dollar coupon". I told them where they can shove that stupid coupon. I am not ordering again on DoorDash. I know they probably don't care as I am only one customer, but at least I can warn people about their horrible service and not have the horrible experiences I have had with them.

Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
