This is the worst clothing company I've dealt with, including those in China. Items arrived too late for Christmas, now I have to pay return shipping. Seriously! Avoid them at all costs.
You can't get through to customer service. They eventually email you back but don't solve your problem. They take two months to refund and even that took countless phone calls and emails and three supervisors. They have made fools of all their customers who fell for their fake folksy working man crap
I placed two orders on December 30th totaling nearly $200. Both orders were immediately charged to my credit card. Since then, I have received absolutely no correspondence from Duluth. I've checked both orders several times - both were waiting to be packed until today, 1/8, when they were both cancelled. Again, I received no notice of this - Duluth has simply erased them. I have received no refund and now need to initiate multiple credit card chargebacks. According to the many other reviews, this is Duluth's new standard of operation. I'll never be ordering from them again.
I'm a longtime customer, 90% of my clothes are from Duluth. I was on the phone for an hour today to try to exchange a sweater i had received for Christmas because it was to large. After an hour it rang, I could hear someone in the background that said WTF and then it went straight to a survey asking me how the service was. What service! I finished the survey so I could leave a message and number so someone could contact me. I'm waiting!
Placed an order a week ago and have yet to receive order conformation or any info on shipping. Called 4 seperate times and after holding for 30+ minutes without any communication I hung up. Even tried live chat but no communication that way either. Duluth is a joke and a scam.
They will send you the wrong item, ask you to ship it back, then tell you that the item you actually ordered is out of stock. So you'll never get your order and get stuck with shipping chores. Stay away.
I am beyond frustrated and I am out of options on what to do. It all started when I ordered 2 boxer briefs for my fiancé for Christmas on November 19th. I waited 2 weeks and they hadn't updated anything at all on the tracking website. So I called, I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for them to even answer the phone and they told me it was lost so they would arrange for it to get delivered as soon as possible (which the earliest was Dec. 30th! They said since it couldn't be any earlier, even though I ordered it on Nov. 19th. I am so frustrated honestly. Because I asked if they could send a tracking number or confirmation and they said no because they don't do that but once it ships I'll get the tracking number and all that. So then, I wait 3 days and they send me an email saying "ready to return your items?" But I never even got the package in the first place! It does say $0 return (but I think it's because it would've been an exchange) so I don't know what to do. I tried calling again today since I never got a tracking number or anything other than that return email saying to return my package. I got in contact with an agent and told her the situation and she said "let me put you on a brief hold" and then I waited 15 minutes for her to hang up! I am at loss of words on how unhelpful it has been to try and at least find out where my order is. The customer service is very bad during this holiday season and I'm so disappointed and upset. It was a $40 purchase and I do not make a lot of money, but this is my finances favorite underwear brand!
Please, if there are any ideas on what to do in this situation? I've tried reaching out on the phone, on live chat, I've emailed them 3 times (2 times to their customer service email & 1 time to their return email) and it's been weeks and I haven't gotten one single response.
Is anyone else going through this? If so, how do you get it situated?
My understanding is that the Visa credit card company requires merchants to wait to charge the customer's credit card until the order actually ships. Duluth lets the carrier know there will be an order coming and they seem to count that as shipping the order. I received an email stating my order was shipped but when I tried to track the order the carrier stated they had not received the package. This is the first time I have come across this when dealing with a major merchant. It's not a good business practice and it will definitely stop me from ordering from Duluth again. I tried to call to inquire but there was a fifteen minute wait to talk to a customer service representative so I sent an email inquiring about the status of my order.
I used to buy all the time from Duluth, but their "Made in the USA" mantra seems to have disappeared, and it seems to me they really don't care about their customers as long as they are making a quick buck.
I purchased two packs of underwear and they came in as shown below. The very least an underwear company could do is package their product so it seems like someone else hasn't ALREADY WORN YOUR UNDERWEAR. This is so egregious that it almost seems like a joke.
I contacted customer service and they said "oh darn, we'll email an exchange slip to you." Thanks, Duluth. I cannot wait to exchange my used $60 underwear for another pair of used underwear. I wonder if they could give me a $5 gift card for the gas it'll take to return this.
I love this company and have spent quite a bit of money on especially the heirloom overalls and no yank boat neck tanks. I recently tried a new jumpsuit hoping it would be ideal for upcoming European travel. It was, unfortunately, too difficult to get on and off. I was dismayed to find it would be $8 to return. In this day and age of rising prices and unmitigated corporate greed, I will think twice about ordering knowing that I will take a hit on my refund if I find the product unsatisfactory. Very disappointed.
Sizes are designed for those who love their snacks so T shirt was like a huge garbage bag. Had to pay shipping and it was extremely slow. Went to return (the shirt I was unable to try on) and found out I had to pay 8 bucks for a T-shirt... Come on folks let's not fund your profits through expensive returns that you probably get a kick back from the USPS. Nice business model: charge $8 dollars every time someone wants to try on a shirt and you'll get rich bilking the hard working middle class that you relentlessly target. I'll keep the stupid shirt and buff the car with it - a reminder not to do business with Duluth any more. They are certainly no Amazon and I should have never fell for their TV ads. I don't usually con easy but I broke my own rule of not dealing with TV advertising companies that have these clever or really sincere advertisements. Save some money stick with Amazon.
I've ordered 3 items from this company via the web. They have managed to screw up all 3 items requiring me to make multiple calls trying to fix the various problems. I'm waiting to see it they've been fixed - won't know until I receive the most recent 2 items or not. Maybe buying in the store is the only way to deal with them. It's certainly the only way I'm going to do business with them in the future. I like their products but hate their web processing.
I have been extremely satisfied with every product I have purchased from DTC but you definitely pay for it. The pants I purchased are their 40 grit pants which were cheaper than their firehouse pants but are super durable and comfortable. Buck naked boxer briefs are the best underwear I have ever worn (this includes over expensive underwear from express, and american eagle). Personally, I just wait for a sale since things are expensive but the quality and customer service is amazing.
For years I've been a satisfied customer...until Christmas of 2023. The products are fine. The customer service is not what it once was. A simple return became a major ordeal. The communication from Duluth was poor and misleading. The refund took twice as long to receive as they said it would. Other items that I ordered were out of stock. I understand that sometimes happens but they took a long time to tell me it wasn't coming. If I ever find myself inside a Duluth store I may buy again, but not online.
I bought a pair after I saw the commercial with the beaver who bites the leg and his teeth fall out. I use them at the dog shelter where I volunteer. A pit bull bit the pants leg and tore a hole in it. When I called the company they said it's not warranted for that.
My nephew researched this company before I ordered his cxmas gifts from there. When he reviewed them and looked at them they were not made in America! He only wears items made in America! So I returned them! It cost 24.00 to return! He should have looked at the return policy! Not good! I wouldn't recommend this company since u have to pay to return items! It's too costly!
I ordered Christmas gifts on November 25. Found out today, December 10, that my orders will not be here by Christmas! They said oops we ran out of underwear yet ads are still airing every time I watch TV. Terrible business practices!
Returns are expensive. Shipping is incredibly slow even if a large order. Stores can have a shirt for $70 that is on sale online for $31-$41. Refunds can take months. Another example of a great company until the founders sell out to some corporate behemoth. Quality and stitching is very very good. But they could massively improve customer relations. An order I made is still not here after 10 days. Free shipping, but when?
I paid 58.57 for 3 pair of these Inferior made underwear. I wore them each once. One pair had a big hole (not on a seam)after laundering. They refused to do anything saying it was "wear and tear"! Another bad product Made in China!
The Women's Can-Do Canvas coat fits perfectly, has plenty of easy to use pockets, an inner drawstring to tighten the waist.
The hood sits well with excellent coverage.
But the dye from this coat rubbed off on the seats of my car.
I submitted photos per Customer Care showing the damage, and cleaned the upholstery as instructed.
After cleaning, the dye remained and Customer Care said they recommend all clothing be washed prior to wearing therefore they would not offer any reimbursement or refund.
I was not aware of this policy and asked them to show me where such information was provided.
Have not heard back from them.
I suppose it's a good thing I didn't sit on a $4,000 couch!
Answer: It is a scam. They don't follow their own policies. Buy elsewhere.
Answer: They profess to have a NO BULL guarantee. That's it, no fine print. But there is fine print, well hidden on their site.
Answer: It was not difficult getting Customer Service. My return was denied twice by email, twice by phone and once by a supervisor. It was the 5th effort that finally got me through to a supervisor who gave me the credit.
Answer: My order has taken over SIX WEEKS AND STILL NOT DELIVERED. Most ALL PRODUCTS ARE MADE, STORED AND SHIPPED FROM CHINA. You always get what you pay for!
Answer: You should call them and explain. They should replace them. Last year, they would have replaced them. They are different now so I can't say what they will do. If they refuse, call back over and over again until you get a reasonable agent on the phone. Ask for a supervisor also, if needed.
