As far as sellers go, I had GREAT experiences (outstanding quality & creativity), as well as a couple that were a total waste of time and money. I am still waiting for Fiverr to give me a refund on one I didn't want to give a positive rating to, because I was not satisfied with the product. Most gigs are more than the advertised $5, but in reality - someone designing an awesome logo for $20 is a hell of a good deal.
That said - the reason I would NOT recommend use of Fiverr is because since I have used it, the credit cards I used on the site were hacked. None of my other cards have been hacked; just the ones I used on Fiverr. Large purchases were made for car repairs, "donations", large amounts for Facebook advertising, and several others that were declined. Coincidence that ONLY the cards I used on Fiverr were hacked, and within two weeks of the purchases being made? Maybe - but after that hassle of having to cancel cards and sign declarations I wasn't buying car repairs out of the country... I won't be using, or recommending them anytime soon.
Ok i really think most people who come to fiverr are looking for people who do web designer type of things. They have way more services than that.
Most of the gig on fiver are actually NOT 5 dollars. Most of the "gigs" on here are 35 and up
The people who sell their services are usually way to cocky arrogant and most of all scammers. Now everyone on here is not a scam but i would say less than half of my experiences have been unpleasant cancellation or a scam.
I have had positive experiences from some people but they do not out way the negitive. Fiverr doesnt do enough to help the people who they are taking their money from. Here is one example. You can not change your rating from a seller after five days. So that means once you find out you were scammed its too late. My advice is to not rate. Here is why people rate though fiver SAYS you are not obligated to rate but every time you log in there is a light at the top of your screen saying "oops looks like you for got to rate your experience lets do this now" what ever they are a rip off but their are a couple of people on there who are just trying to work for extra cash.
I purchased service from the seller (Digitalredcube) he claimed the service was being done without providing proof. I checked my Google Analytics account to see if traffic was being delivered, it was not. The seller continued to call me dumb and not know what I was looking for along with ask for my password and username to my website. I requested to cancel the transaction through Fiverr, well the seller reported me unprofessional and threatening him. I got an email the next day saying my account was flagged for unprofessionalism, threats and policy violations. I replied to this email through a support ticket, got a reply basically saying terms and conditions were violated by me. How can you violate their terms and conditions by pointing out to the seller that they are not providing the service? All communications are kept on their server, to go back and review. If they keep threatening me I will go to a lawyer. I recommend staying away from Fiverr if you buy something and do not receive the results you are the one punished and not the fraudster. Fiverr protects their fraudster sellers.

Do not use this site. It's a complete scam. Stay away! The people there plagiarize work and do not use fair techniques. I filed a complaint with BBB to review.
Full of scammers. Even the customer support lies and steals your money. STAY AWAY from them!
This video tells exactly what is going on fiverr: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuRDg0IbgKQ
I actually made it 5 days on Fiverr! On Day 4, I submitted my video created through Adobe to try and drum up business. 24 hours later it was denied and I was told that it was not my video! Even though, I had just ran it on an add the day before and it was accepted. Ok, so I figured it was just some bonehead screening gigs (as they call them) and trying to catch up on screening, or just didn't know what he was doing. Most likely the latter, as my soon to be "Really bad experiences" started. Not only was I attempting to provide a service, but I was already actively buying services. 1 out of 5 turned out to be legit. Then comes the bombardment of spam. I hate Spam! Then... I have a seller asking to pay him through Bitcoin for a service that I was interested in, which is against TOS. So, I promptly mark his request as a TOS violation, 4 hours later after I have submitted all my information as a "Verified Professional", and taken several of their cheesy test for competency, which I might ad, some of them I knew nothing of the subject and still passed. I get banned for supposedly asking for payments outside of Fiverr! Now remember, I was the one that reported it! Now, it gets even worse. I had funds in my account. I was told in an email with no way to reply that my funds would sit there for 90 days and after 90 days, I will get an email with directions on how to get my money back. 90 days! WTF! Now, if that's not some shady SH^t? Nothing that can't get handled with a charge back. Do yourself a favor and use reputable sites, NOT Fiverr!
I don't recommend Fiverr because the sellers are hit and miss. They also have terrible customer service. Here's my experience:
Their refund policy is upsetting. I cancelled an order **respectfully** and successfully. The money is sent back to my account. There is nowhere in the help center for refunding the money back into the bank. Found it on the forum I should go to customer service. I submit a ticket, there is no confirmation email nor does it show up on my requests. Maybe that is a bug on my end, but that doesn't change the fact that it was still sent *successfully*. I wait more than 48hrs for Fiverr to reply, but there is nothing in my email. I take to PayPal for help. I message Fiverr through PayPal and they give Fiverr 48hrs to reply but again they ignore it. I wait about 72hrs and I escalate the issue with PayPal. Finally they respond and what they say is *we have disabled your acccount* for escalating the issue with PayPal. Great. I don't care at this point, I want the money back. I'm never using Fiverr again. I submitted another ticket so hopefully they'll reply this time. There's still no confirmation email and it's not showing up in my requests in the help center. I'm just so infuriated.
Hello i m video editing and image crop edit and logo maker canva so pleas order me contact and may choice
I'm a true fan of this website and purpose, but unfortunately you get what you pay for. Alot of the "gigs" really aren't that good, and the quality worst.
Answer: I used Fiverr for my company logo. The guy lives in Vietnam and speak minimal English. I paid for an upgraded package with an unlimited amount of revisions, 3 original logos, stationary and Facebook as well as Twitter page covers. What does unlimited mean if a revision takes 24 hours and each revision is correcting spelling mistakes or telling him you don't want a green dog in your logo, I want a natural looking dog. His response is "you choose font and gives you a pale old lady stockings colour dog" instead of a white Dalmatian with black dots or a brown German Shepard. In the end I used an online translator to translate my requests from English to Vietnamese. He told me to sketch something and he'd make something. If I could sketch something then I would do my own logo. The one logo that I liked was the one I gave him all my ideas for. All he did was put it together in the right format. I was so frustrated with his other two attempts that I said ok give me the first logo with stationary and everything I've paid for. I got the most basic design, no stationary or headers. Did I go through customer service? OF COURSE! Throughout this whole ordeal. I described every little detail. Each time a different person would reply and say "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him". Only to have him return with the same dog in orange or turquoise and every time customer service would spit out the same line "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him. We see he is responding to you within 24 hours so for us that means you are trying to work things out. I want my money back! Sorry we can't give you your money back. The seller has received his money and its up to him to give you any money back if he so chooses. It was a dreadful experience. I ended up using an online logo maker and I loved it. PLUS it actually cost less. I'm now doing my own website. If you have the patience then try to do it yourself. Do NOT skimp on your website. The way the world is run today you want your website and all social media presence to correctly reflect your quality. If at the end I'm not happy with my website I will go to a professional and pay what it costs. Hope this helped and good luck
Answer: I know I have to wade through a lot of questionable sellers to get a good one. Happy hunting. There are good ones out there though.
Answer: All I can say id Fiverr is the BIGGEST SCAM going. Had to dispute the charges through my bank to get the money back
Answer: Stay far away from fiverr. I paid a guy to do some work and proved with third party techniques they used bots for fake views to my site. Yet this guy had many many great reviews. You cannot trust this site whatsoever. Stick with paypal as you most likely will get nowhere with fiverr.
Answer: If you want a site designed to steal credit card data from hard-working, civilized people, please use Fiverr. It is designed for one thing: to take your credit card data and leave you to deal with a mess. More details, reply or search for my previous posts.
Answer: I can only imagine you got swindled and feel bad about the fact you trusted someone. Don't feel bad, you did nothing wrong. There are sites who take the time to vet their sellers and then there are sites like Fiverr who let's anyone to join with zero check on their credentials. The entry into selling on Fiverr is so easy that it borders on ridiculousness. Anyone can lie about their location, experience, education, and just about any credentials. Some of them are really clever and mask their fake profile pictures and gig descriptions really well. Fiverr is so secretive about their vetting process, which I seriously doubt there is anything in writing, that you can't trust it. The seller's level is a joke - I've gotten cheated by ones with thousands of reviews. How they received literally a thousand or more review is mind boggling. Go back and check again, you'll notice like 99.9% of the million or so sellers all have 5 star reviews. All legitimate businesses have a combination of good and bad reviews, most average around 3/5 or if they are a really great business 4/5 but for a large company with like a million or so freelancers with zero credentials having 5/5 pretty much tells you there is something wrong. Like I said, you did nothing wrong. I hope you didn't lose too much money. Their philosophy is "We don't care how crappy the delivery was as long as the seller delivered you don't get your money back."
Answer: The answer is plain simple NO! You will get your followers, yes! But they are all bots, so you will lose 90% of the followers the same week, might as well throw this 5 bucks in the air.
Answer: There is very little in the world that is unique. You have to trust or spend a lot more $$$ or do it yourself
Answer: I would suggest having nothing whatsoever to do with Fiverr. When things go wrong - and that happens a LOT - there is no customer support line to call. They make it very difficult (in my own case, impossible) to resolve any problems. Read the evaluation reviews- they are extremely negative. My advice: find another site on which to offer your services. DG
Answer: I've had 28 orders and all but two were very satisfactory. Most were PDFform building or business card templates, but I had s few design logos for me then used the one I liked. Buyers: it's cheap. Remember that. When the service is good I tip generously then use the same person. I get great service, often in one day. When I order, I add express service and have yet to be disappointed. It's a business model without customer service. Face it. If you want customer service, go to Nordstroms or Nieman Marcus. Do a better job selecting your service provider; be clear in the order, and overpay.
Fiverr has a rating of 1.6 stars from 1,087 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Fiverr most frequently mention customer service, credit card and low quality. Fiverr ranks 107th among Freelancing sites.
