My verification video interview with Joey C was an exceedingly pleasant and educational experience. I have a dinosaur of a laptop, and was unsure if it would be able to handle the requirements of video chat technology corresponding to this century. Before the interview, I contacted Joey C via chat and asked him if it was acceptable to use my phone to proceed with the interview. He guided me through the process of using the phone instead of the laptop, and I was able to speak with him at the time we had designated.
The interview process was interesting and informative, and Joey C made me feel comfortable from the beginning of the interview process until the conclusion of our chat. Even though I couldn't see his face, I felt a genuine warmth, interest and natural flow of conversation from his thought-provoking questions and insights. Joey C is both a marvelous interviewer and listener, and he possesses the interpersonal skills necessary for his position.
Throughout the interview process, I felt that his questions were relevant and intelligent. They reflected the culture, expectations and high standards of Freelancer.com, and they also taught me more about the platform and the quality it expects from the freelancers who use the site. After the interview with Joey C was finished, I felt as though I knew more about the platform and how it operates.
