I ordered flowers 3 days before my friend's 50th birthday as a surprise to be sent to her office. No attempt was made to deliver flowers to her office. I was told "Either she no longer works there or she is off today". Actually neither of those statements were true. Had to talk to 4 people to get someone to agree to take an alternate address to send flowers to her home the next morning. I got a call 2 hours later saying they had placed the order with another florist and flowers would be delivered first thing in the morning. And they refunded shipping fee so I thought the issue had been resolved. The problem is that my friend NEVER RECEIVED flowers at her home the next day. No one called or attempted to deliver flowers. When I called to complain they couldn't find my order. Someone had deleted the order, confirmation number, recipient, everything. I left a message for a supervisor and 3 hours later the same person who told me on Friday that the flowers would be delivered on Saturday called to say she was very sorry but the florist had not delivered the order. I'm still waiting for the rest of my refund. This was without a doubt the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Nicole C
The promised " Green Plants " were parsley and mint!
I would be insulted if someone would send me such a birthday present
I had to call the recipient and apologize
Never again
Just love FTD. Florists, I have had to order flowers for different occasions, and they are very helpful. Flowers are always fresh and last a week to 10 days, very beautiful bouquets
This was by far the worst service I have ever received. It was impossible to track my delivery. They apparently use 3rd party florists who lack communicating with them. I contacted them on numerous occasions because each time I spoke to a representative, I would get told something different about my order. I was advised they would call me back once contact was made with the florist. No call back. I advised that the delivery needed to be made before the end of business day, which is 3PM for a school. It was made afterwards, and the recipient had left. I spoke with a very rude manager, Alex, who lacked professionalism and customer service and interrupted me as I expressed my concerns. He even insinuated that my calls to their company was bothersome. I was told I would receive an email notification upon delivery. I did not! It was just overall a horrible, unsatisfactory experience that I would wish upon no one. To improve service, there should be a system set up to track the delivery, so calls do not have to be made to a representative. Especially, when you are made to feel unappreciated, and your business does not matter!
I ordered my girls flowers on a Monday to be delivered on Tuesday. They never arrived! Called "eflowers" on Wednesday and they said they would have the florist to contact me... NEVER DID. Called back on Thursday - said if was their after our service but would have the florist to contact me... NEVER DID!. Called of Friday, they said they would get them out and have the florist to contact me... NEVER DID. Just contacted them on Friday night, said it was their after our service and could only send a message to the florist. WHAT A RIP OFF! NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!
Ordered item for my wife just as a surprise. Website said same day delivery. So I ordered item. Got confirmation email. Then about 3 hours later get email saying they could not fulfill my order. To reply back that they could in the next 3 days or I could cancel the order. I replied cancel the order as my wife was not going to be home. Then they call saying they found a florist to make it and would be able to get out that day. I said wonderful that will work. When I got home around 7pm nothing there. Ok website says till 9pm. Well 9 comes and goes nothing. My wife leaves for work and I get a email at 7 the next morning they are to be delivered. Well $#*! she's not home. So I reply back to the email that nobody will be home to put up where cat can not get. Nothing not a word back from them on when how or if they delivered got my email or nothing. I will not be buying from them ever again as they promise and do not deliver. Nor communicate whats going on after you try to reach back out to them.
Emailed the day delivery was to occur to say the florist in the area was not available after all. Are you kidding me? The day of delivery?. Fortunately I paid with PayPal so I can get my money back
We order our flower 2 days before June 1st for my Aunt & Uncle 60th Anniversary for June 1st, today is June 3rd and it never came! I also requested it to be delivered by 11 am when I spoke to the customer service on the 2nd day, & that didn't happen.
DONT DEPEND ON FTD to get your flowers on time!
VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!
When you order online for FTD, you get a confirmation that it will be delivered on the date submitted. Well, last year, my uncle had passed away and I had ordered flowers through FTD. The sympathy plant arrived the DAY AFTER the funeral service took place! It took my local family to hunt down the plant. It was a MESS.
2024, My Aunt passed so I used1800Flowers. They don't deliver to the entered zip code so I tried FTD once more. Again, the website confirmed the delivery date to deliver on time.
Three days later, the DAY BEFORE THE FUNERAL, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL STARTING OFF SAYING, "UNFORTUNATELY" THEY AREN'T ABLE TO DELIVER ON THE SCHEDULED DATE. IT WOULD BE DELAYED. I was LIVID! So I cancelled and demanded a refund. I received an email the next day to confirm the cancellation and to be refunded in 3-5 business days.
Fortunately, I found a local florist as a back up in the city and state of the funeral services. FTD IS UNRELIABLE! VERY POOR SERVICE! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OVER SEAS! IT IS BEST JUST TO ORDER THROUGH THE CITY'S LOCAL FLORIST. LEAVE THESE MAJOR SO CALLED FLORISTS ALONE. MOST ARE SCAMS ANYWAY!
Back in the 70s and 80s when you wanted to send flowers, everyone knew you chose an FTD florist. I chose them for Valentine's day 2020 because my wife deserves the best. I was willing to pay more to get the best. I spent over $120 for 12 roses and a little stuffed bear, chocolates and delivery costs. I paid for FTD because I did not want my wife to get a box with a do it yourself kit. I want the young person proudly marching into my wife's work with beautiful flowers in hand and announcing he had a delivery for my wife. What she got were old flowers, THAT CAME IN A BOX FROM THE UPS GUY IN A DO IT YOURSELF KIT, the rosebuds started to droop within 4 hours at work. They have a 7-day satisfaction guarantee I will ask for a refund Look at the pictures. Wouldn't you? FTD IS DEAD. Go to Walmart they are cheaper and at least you know you are getting cheap flowers.
