Tomorrow is my mother's 80th Birthday. This was ordered from FTD(BIG MISTAKE). Yes, the arrangement is cute, but to me there seems to be a lot of filler, not enough flowers and not close to the Better option, which is what was chosen. A full size Birthday card was to be included. That's the folded thing on the serving tray. I literally begged and pleaded to speak with someone who I could understand. I even asked to be transferred to someone in the US, hoping to get someone I could understand. I usually can understand accents. Not today. I even told them I have never asked for this. I didn't want to upset my mother with a replacement, that would crush her. They sent the good, not the better and card was not a full size card, lets discuss that. I even explained that I had a very traumatic day and needed someone I could understand and that would listen. Sending a replacement would make my 80 yr old mother feel crushed for the florist. Partial refund was in order. Now I will NEVER EVER order through them again. In collage, upper left is from ftd site, lots of flowers and big green flowers. Other two are what was delivered, lots of filler and no big green flowers. 2nd pick are the price levels, I paid for the middle.
This is a front to take your money and not deliver a product. When I call the customer service number I am told that they just send a not to the shop but say they do not know who that is.
Im sorry Im sorry is all I could understand ordered floweres for a funereal on a Tuesday and Friday never delivered after days of yes they be delivered and never were. Took our money right away though... this company IS THE WORST DO NOT ORDER! THEY ARE NOT A QUALITY OR A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY!
A day late on a major accident with a family member, no feedback on missed delivery and 1.5 hours on customer service to find out it will take another day with no concern.
Flowers do not arrive when promised. When they do arrive, they are cheap and poor quality. Customer service is a joke. Don't expect to get your money back.
I ordered a gift basket on Friday, it was to be delivered on Saturday for a friend in the hospital. When I chatted with someone Saturday on their site, she told me the business was closed…. REALLY, it's a hospital. I canceled the order and got a credit, plus my friend will now NOT get the gift while in the hospital.
My very last time ordering from FTD. SERVICE SUCKS

I ordered - and paid extra for - a Christmas Eve delivery for a gift. 1/3 of my purchase expense ($160 total) was delivery fees, and yet they still did not get it right. The gift showed up almost a week early, completely ruining the surprise that I had set up. I called customer service, and they agreed to resend the gift (the surprise was ruined, but I still wanted the impact of what I had set up). However, they never resent it. In fact, about 10 minutes after hanging up, I received an e-mail stating my request to cancel the order was denied. WTH? I never requested a cancellation. I called a bit later and after getting some run around about delivery windows being several days, the girl again agreed to resend the gift. NEVER WAS RECEIVED. Not only was the surprise ruined but *everything* I had arranged around the gift showing up on Christmas Eve was ruined. What jerks. And again... I was charged extra for a Christmas Eve delivery.
I actually use FTD for my business to send gifts to clients, employees, and other business relations. We spend about $4-10k a year but after this experience I will be setting up with a new vendor. And of course I will be closing my personal account.
My suggestion to anyone who sends gifts via FTD... ask the recipient to send you pictures to see how close the intended item is to reality. You will find there is often a HUGE difference.
Never again! I ordered flowers for my daughter's 30th birthday via FTD Online. I found the bouquet that I wanted to send and took it to the Premium level to the tune of almost $100. I was advised via email that the flowers were scheduled for delivery the day I expected. I found out that evening that the flowers had not in fact been delivered. It seemed that the florist never received the order due to their internet not working appropriately. When i went back to FTD Online, they checked with the florist and said they would be delivered that next day. And due to the issues, the florist said they would upgrade the order. I said i had already upgraded to to Premium, and was assured that they would 'fill it out even further' to make it more full and larger. When the arrangement finally arrived, later that afternoon, she sent me a picture. It was a sad bouquet that looked like the lowest level I could have ordered. Very disappointed in FTD AND the florist who put it together. I was an FTD Gold member, and have consistently experienced this type of service and product quality. Once I ordered a sympathy plant for a colleague in Florida, and it came in a bright rainbow container, nothing like the peaceful white vase in the picture. Unfortunately, unless you get a picture from the recipient, you only have your faith in FTD to rely on, which is minimal at best at this point. I feel that this is consistently a 'bait and switch'.
I ordered 2 sets of flowers for my wife, while I was away at work. First, I thought, (my fault) the flowers would be sent doing the day. WRONG after 5pm, I called and asked about my order. They said on the way... then they sent me an email telling me the flowers were already at my house, WRONG, they lied. One set showed up, next set, still waiting hours later. Totally UNSAT service, I will NEVER use FTD again. NOT HAPPY, OVER PRICED, Dont use, lie to you, charge you costly service, NO WAY NEVER AGAIN... TOTALLY UNHAPPY
Flowers were ordered, confirmed HAND DELIVERY. GUARANTEED... flowers were delivered to wrong address. Called customer svc. Obvious it's an outsourced operation, JEFF could barely speak English and Couldn't answer a question without placing me a hold. With an open line he spoke to another employee in a foreign language. When I asked for the location of the call ctr. Couldn't confirm local florist handling the order for pick-up. Can Only take a # & have them call us. JEFF hung up on me. 5 calls later all the same. They offered refund... no apology or offer REDO. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE. So another rush gift had to be ordered... THIS COMPANY & THOSE LIKE THIS ONE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN... Next call BBB.
