It's a different product than Shutterfly. Don't compare the 2. The quality is exactly what you should expect. They just acquired it so give them some time to iron out bugs. I love mine. No issues with mine

Groove book Sucks! Had original app and worked great! Quality of pictures overall was mediocre to poor. Delivery time Way too long--- customer service? That's a joke because there is no Customer service! Now Shutterfly bought Groovebook and things are Terrible... Can't open the app. The shutterfly group should call Themselves "gutter fly". They have totally ruined this process. Warning: save your money and don't try to do business with them!

My first groove book was great-arrived in about 3 weeks after closing it. 2nd book-45 days, still waiting. They said they'd reprint. 3rd book arrived today. Washed out and fuzzy.
I dislike the app as well. It is difficult to reach them to ask questions, and when I was considering buying a book subscription for someone, when you click on the book you're interested in it automatically buys a subscription for you. Nothing like are you sure or confirm purchase or anything. Like that. Also you then have to pass along a gift code to your recipient. They won't send an email note or anything like that so it's really kind of rough operation. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue.

Groove book used to be great, but since moving to shutterfly, it has completely gone in the toilet. So much so that it makes me dislike shutterfly---a company I greatly liked prior to this experience. They used to allow you to upload pictures in advance, so if I had more than 100 photos one month I would just upload in advance to the next month. Not anymore... now they want you to pay an extra 2.99 for an extra book. It stinks of corporate greed tactics to pad the bottom line! When I contacted customer service (by email b/c that's all that is available) I got a template response that didn't even address my question. Shipping is also dreadfully slow.

Groovebook--you never should have sold out. If things don't improve fast, I will be canceling my subscription.

I never ordered a subscription with this Co.
There is no one to contact and no way to cancel.
Terrible dishonest practices They give a FAQ with websites that have no connection or any way to contact them. I had a charge from them on my bank statement. When I looked into who they were. There was no way to contact them.

I do not recommend groove book. The app was very frustrating, and crashed 3x while trying to select my 100 photos. While the site did say to allow ~15 days for the book to arrive, I believe mine took closer to 10, so that was nice I guess... Though I was super disappointed with the quality of the pictures. They were all dark and blurry - I don't feel like they're useable for anything... I can print through Costco photo center for 13 cents a picture (4x6) and they are high quality and ready within an hour or two. I'm not using this service again.

Up until shutterfly took over it was awesome. Now it takes 30 days or more to get a book my last closing was Jan 22 it's now Feb 7th my info says in production used to receive book within 8 days from closing. Shutter fly will not get Xtra product order from me.

I like the concept but the quality is just not up to the standard. Dark, blurry, grainy prints. I had to reprint all my photos somewhere else. Shipping is a bit slow but it's not a huge issue for me. No billing issue, I was able to cancel easily.

I'm still waiting for my FIRST one. It's been a month now... i'm starting to regret this decision... and i was so very hopeful. So i called Shutterfly as they recently aqcuired Groovebooks company. Shutterfly had no information nor could they give me a phone # or anything; other than GB's email; which i already tried several times and no response.

I've had a membership for quite a while now, two books per month. I used to love it and raved about the app to anyone who would listen. The paper was thin, but the picture quality was great for such a cheap, compact book of prints.
My last 2 books, however, are garbage. The pictures are so dark and grainy ans the books literally stink. The chemical odor is enough to knock you out.
I'll be looking into canceling before the next set of books is due. :(

I started in March 2016. I got my free book as promised. Then it was downhill! Each book the pictures were darker and not clear. I have been double charged each month. I've emailed them each time asking to be credited and after canceling my subscription I was charged again! There is a phone number on my charge slip, but when you call it's a recording telling you to email them! My next step is calling my credit card company and maybe BBB. Don't get involved with this company!

Joined Groovebook like many others after seeing it on Sharktank. I still think it is my most cherished invention of all time. But you can not speak to anyone regarding loading hiccups. I have an iPhone that I've had almost a year with no issues. In the last 3 months my Groovebooks have given me tons of repeat photos- which means that the photos I've deleted are gone. This month as I loaded I realized it glitches at 20 photos... had to start again. 20 again... start again... then loaded if I was lucky 36 photos. Then 42. Then 46... this took all night. My guess is that I will get a book with those 20 photos and the earlier months is not noticed the loading glitches. Can you call customer service for help? No. You get an email that never really targets the issue well. That being said, you pay practically NOTHING for a book full of amazing memories. I can't argue with the concept or the price. I just wish I could load my photos these last months...

I've been using this app for a few months now, and I am very impressed with what you get for the price. For $2.99 per month they will print and ship 100 photos from your phone in a keepsake book. The photos are nice quality and easily tear out if you want to remove them from the book. You can transfer photos from your computer to your phone and have them printed as well. My complaints are minor. The shipping is a bit slow. The thumbnails are small so it is difficult to determine the photos that you are choosing.
Overall it's easy to use. Just download the free app and it gives instructions on how to get started.

The pics are horrible quality... I recieved a damaged book and emailed 3 times with no response. There is NO other way to contact them. Its a great idea that still needs alot of work to make it a great product. Im out until they fix it.

I would NOT recommend GrooveBook at all. Initially I was very impressed with the app; however, the more books I ordered from them, the more they lost. Three books were never sent to me, books I was billed for. The answers I got were non-answers and the respond time was awful. I had to wait 2-3 weeks for someone to respond. I am very unhappy with the service and disappointed with the poor customer service. If they just admitted they lost my pictures, I would be somewhat mollified, but to deny any culpability is just wrong and angering.

After never even receiving a book from the company yet still being charged by them every month, I emailed them to cancel my subscription. The following day I received a conformation email saying my account had been canceled. It has not been 5 months since they confirmed that my account had been cancelled, but I am still being charged every month. Every time I email customer service they give me the same answer saying my account has been cancelled. They will not refund my money and they will not stop charging me for services that I am not receiving. Worst company and customer service I have ever received. Sign up with them only if you want them to steal your money.

I LOVE the concept of this book but quality of the photos is horrible, beyond horrible. Also, the app does not work effectively. The info in my app is not correct with regard to my history. It must be a crazy place so I gave it a few months to 'get it together' but no, not yet!

As my 4th attempt I'm contacting you regarding my book. I've been waiting 4 weeks. I've emailed 3 times. The one and only response I've received simply said to make sure my address is correct. It is. So now what? In my emails I've also asked for your company to resend the book. That has yet to be addressed. Although if you do send another one I imagine I will have to wait another 4+ weeks to get it. I'm sure your explanation will be "it takes 10-14 days to ship". Seems to be your go to response to everyone. Maybe you should get a new line to use because frankly that one just doesn't cut it. It's a flat out lie. Looks like your company has let down a lot of people. Terrible service. I regret ordering and will not order again. I'm afraid if I cancel now all will be lost, including my book. Once I receive it, if I ever do, I will be canceling.

Since I have my windows phone I can not use Groovebook, I did what the website said and went to *******@groovebook.com to cancel my subscription, and I get nowhere. Very angry at this point as I have had my new phone almost a year. HELP!

I've had Groovebook for probably 1.5 years by now. I have ordered 26 books. I loved them. They had great pricing the quality was good. But they have gone downhill over the last several months. My most recent books I noticed not all pictures were being printed. A chunk would be selected a repeated for the entire 100 pages. Also for the past several months they have removed the "G" in the bottom corner of the pictures you have already printed. So I have kept them going to finish out my vacation photos but now I have absolutely no idea which pictures I still need to print without going through all my books. I will be canceling and will have to figure something else out.

Yes, it's a true value. The app is super easy to use. But quality of pictures is below "take it to the drugstore" level. Hard to argue with the price, but if the pictures were just 20% better, I would happily recommend it to everyone I know!

I had an email stating thy grove book sent my book on jan 15th and still have not received it. Emailed customer service and never got a replied. I cancelled my services And after reading all these reviews I am glad I did.

It's so funny. I tried out groove book years ago because my wife loves pictures. I remember only wanting to do it as a one time thing but what I and people failed to realize was once they got your credit card info they would keep charging it every month and there was vertually no way to get them to stop charging it... I don't even know how that is legal but at the time I figured I would do it as a one time thing... WRONG! I was forced to change my card information through my bank because I couldn't figure out a way to cancel the "subscription". To this day 4 long years later I still get the same e-mail every month: "Please update your billing information". Cracks me up every time. One day this scam of a organization will be gone. One day...

I was so excited after my first book. Pictures were great and I liked the idea of saving my pictures in one little book and now I can't get a book. It took them 2 months to get my December pictures and now I am still waiting for February. Something always is wrong with my card for some unexplained reason, I have to email everyday. I am in the process of terminating the service. Huge disappointment. Glad to see the reviews of others, I thought I was the only one.

I ordered my first book on 11/24/14, Around 12/5/14, I emailed inquiring where my book was at. They responded the next day and told me they had a influx of new customers and had to buy additional equipment. On 12/8/14, my book was shipped. On 12/16/14, I received it. The quality of the pictures was average and I used an Iphone 6 to take pics. For $2.99, its a great value to have pictures delivered right to my house. I would recommend to anyone.

These people are terrible. You have to email to cancel, and they don't cancel. You call and get recording that says you can only email. Cat and mouse game, and I Am the one who pays monthly when all I want to do is cancel... horrible.

The quality is poor and so is the service. I cancelled my subscription due to not being able to download photos because their system was busy and I was told to "try again later". By the time I could download photos the deadline had passed. This happened several times and seemed like a waste of money so I cancelled. They also continued to withhold the money from my account for several months and I had to go through the hassle of changing out my card number to stop the charges.
