It's a different product than Shutterfly. Don't compare the 2. The quality is exactly what you should expect. They just acquired it so give them some time to iron out bugs. I love mine. No issues with mine
Groove book Sucks! Had original app and worked great! Quality of pictures overall was mediocre to poor. Delivery time Way too long--- customer service? That's a joke because there is no Customer service! Now Shutterfly bought Groovebook and things are Terrible... Can't open the app. The shutterfly group should call Themselves "gutter fly". They have totally ruined this process. Warning: save your money and don't try to do business with them!
Very disappointed! The concept is great, price is great BUT quality is horrible. I know it's only $2.99 per book but I expect my pictures to still look good. They are dark and I have an iPhone 6 that takes great pictures. If they could improve picture quality I would sign up again. I cancelled after my first 2 books. Had trouble with my 3rd book, the app didn't work and I could only upload 83 photos. If their pictures looked like the ones on their app I would even pay more per month but for now I will not be a customer.
The pictures are faded and not clear very disappointed in the quality of the pictures. At first I thought it was my camera, but the pics I am downloading are very clear. You guys need to fix this issue
I got my first groove book this month and i absolutely love it. For $3 and some change a month i think it is a great investment. Other companies like snapfish to get this mailed to me would have cost around $15. From other reviews that i have heard i will watch my credit card and make sure i am getting billed right and make sure i get my books every month. The other thing i will watch out for is the quality of the pictures. This months is pretty good for $3 but i did see some reviews that said the quality goes down. As for right now i really enjoy this app but will watch out for mistakes in the future.
I moved 3 months ago and updated my address on the app and I haven't received my oct, nob, dec or jan book. I have emailed them a few times and their response this morning this is the address we have for you which was my old address- I doubled checked nd my address is my new address so I emailed them back and told them that was the wrong address and I wanted the last 4 books asap. And haven't had a response back as of yet. I am very frustrated
Terrible. I was a member in 2012, the quality wasn't the greatest the books are very cute. I just like to empty my iphone. And not just put the pics on a usb.
I have a new email, new address, new debit card. And they continue to say I Have an account. Oh Geez. Ok.
The funny thing is, I entered all my info. And there isn't a submit button. So I dont know how they are getting my old info. CUSTOMER service is terrible they keep giving me a generic response all the time. Im just going to Sams club and pay extra for some good quality.
Not going to lie. I am VERY upset with this company! I picked 100 photos on June 1st. Well, my history said it was sent June 27th. I NEVER received my Groovebook! I had to deactivate my account for this month... because I do not have $3. And... I will be mad if I never get my Groovebook that I paid for, for last month. I have been trying to cancel my awful subscription to Groovebook. I have been a customer for 2 years and for about 1 year I have been trying to cancel with them! They take a monthly payment out of my checking, I have proof of various emails back and forth telling me I am cancelled and yet no stop of payment from my account. For about 6 months I did get books and they were repeated and duplicates of pictures I didn't even pick. I am going to have to change my checking account #. I will have to get all new checks, new submitting of info at my work. I'm frustrated and angry at GrooveBook.
This company "accidentally" sends your photos and info to random people and vice versa... either they are crooked or they are a horribly run company. Do not jeopardize your photos or privacy by using them.
The quality of the pictures are poor. I did not receive my first book although they tell me a duplicate was sent over 3 weeks ago. I hope I do not have trouble canceling as others have stated in their reviews. While the idea is good, the quality is not.
I've had ordered quite a few books since 2014, and those books from the early years are now completely USELESS! Pictures are faded, starting to get fuzzy, and the color changed drastically compare to pictures printed on real photo paper. I keep all my photos in the same closed cabinet, no sun light, and not going through them often at all. Feel like I wasted all the money and now I have to print them ALL AGAIN, that's 6 years of pictures. Thanks for nothing.
It took 22 days to get to me. The quality of the pictures were poor (very blurry and weird coloring) and it was printed on a thin, flimsy paper. More than half of my photos had a weird crease down the middle. Hey, but at $2.99 you get exactly what you pay for. I love the idea, but I would pay more for better quality.
It took forever to get my first book. I thought I would try it again, ordered second book. My first book took forever and I didn't receive it until after I ordered my second book. The quality is very poor. I would rather get my prints from Walgreens. I will be cancelling before my third book for sure.
The quality of the books is HORRIBLE now. The pictures fall out as you are looking at it upon arrival. The picture paper is extremely thin. The outside is so poor quality that the coloring rubs right off. We have looked at the book twice and it looks like we've owned it for 5 years. The quality is terrible since the acquisition. Such a shame since we use to love groove book and have been members since it aired on shark tank. I canceled my subscription.
I have had this app for several years and although it wasn't perfect it got the job done. But anymore it doesn't load pictures from any album but my camera roll. Very frustrating because i take pictures a lot from snapchat and yes i have it set to save to camera roll but it still doesn't show them. Never had problems with this in the past. I have tried to Google this problem and support from this app is a joke. Will be canceling.
Omg! Just got my first set of prints today and I LOVE THEM! The photos are perfect! The photos come in this awesome photo book that has a very nice look to it.My Grovebook was delivered right on time as they said it would be and Monday was even a holiday! Thanks GrooveBook! I will continue to use you and I will also tell more of my family and friends about you. I am absolutely happy with GrooveBook. YOUR AWESOME!
I love the idea of this service and I love the price point. However, the quality is very very poor and low quality. Paper is very thin. Photos are blurry and off in color. I expect them to deteriorate further with time. I stuck with it for 9 months and have 9 books. I didn't have any problem with the app, customer service or billing. I just hate the quality and had to finally cancel my membership.
I spent hours a pon hours maybe even days finding the perfect 100 photos to print and I was so excited to get them and when I went to the final check out area they only have options to ship to America. When I saw that I almost cried that all that time was for nothing I really think they should tell you before you get to the final stages of your purchase to tell you. But I think that overall it is set out nicely and have watched other people getting their photos and they seem very nice.

I really like this app. I have used it for more than a year. I have had no problems till recently. I saved an address and it only saved half so i think it is going to the wrong person. I have no issues i would love to be able to help those that cant work it. My email is *******@gmail.com
Shame, seemed like a great concept and I as excited. The app crashed constantly on my iPhone 6 - I was never able to choose photos for a book. I emailed Groovebook, got a reply saying they couldn't find my account because I used the wrong email address to send it. EVEN THOUGH all the account information, including the email used to sign up was in the body of my message. I resent using the email associated with my account. They never answered. Weeks ago. And they want me to pay for a subscription? Oh, yeah, they make it a complete pain to cancel, too. They oughta be ashamed.
And now responses to tweets saying I never responded to their emails. This, after many emails exchanged and account finally cancelled. Wow. Accusing me? Shameful.

So far my experience has been positive. For 2.98 I get 100 pictures which is a great deal. I scrapbook with the pictures using the project life format. The paper is a little thinner which I like so I can use my 3 x 4 punch easily. It is a great way to get your pictures off your phone. Very easy to upload pictures
My 2nd book came before the first one ordered and all the pics in both books came out horrible, and blurry or cut off! I'm so disappointed, as I need to clear my phone off for an event and deleted the pics that I had ordered! You get what you pay for I guess!'
I have been using Groove book for 2 years. It started out great and now the app suddenly forgot my password and i know what it is but it wouldn't let me login and i cant get a hold of anyone by email. Also i was being charged $3.29 every month on my card for 2 years then it suddenly jumped to $5.79? Crazy and i cant upload any new pics because i cant get anyone to email me back.
The people in groove books customer service desperately need training in "customer" service. After numerous issues, and being told there are problems with my account, which were never specified I never received either of the two books ordered. I was so excited after seeing them on Shark Tank. What a GRAVE LET DOWN.
This company sounded so good at first until I tried to upload my pics! Ugh! Took forever and kept crashing, but I thought it's ok cuz it's cheap and I will have pictures every month. Haha! The pics are low quality and they didn't even send the ones I had download half the time! Thank god my bank sent out new debit cards with new numbers... now groovebook can't charge my account anymore! Not worth the $3 a month!
Like a lot of the other reviews Groovebook was great until Shutterfly took over. The quality of the photos has gotten worse. I ordered their magnets and when the first set came in the images were completely blurry. I thought maybe it was because I zoomed in just a hair it distorted the image. The last set I ordered I did not alter the picture at all and it came in just as blurry as the last set. Why did the reminder feature get removed? Will never purchase from them again and will be canceling my subscription.
