It's a different product than Shutterfly. Don't compare the 2. The quality is exactly what you should expect. They just acquired it so give them some time to iron out bugs. I love mine. No issues with mine

“Groove book Sucks!”

Groove book Sucks! Had original app and worked great! Quality of pictures overall was mediocre to poor. Delivery time Way too long--- customer service? That's a joke because there is no Customer service! Now Shutterfly bought Groovebook and things are Terrible... Can't open the app. The shutterfly group should call Themselves "gutter fly". They have totally ruined this process. Warning: save your money and don't try to do business with them!

I also had Groovebook for over a yr. All of a sudden it tells me my password is wrong. It was not. So I changed it and updated my account then it stated I needed to verify my address. I did and it still said to verify address. Then my password didn't work. When I contacted groovebook they said they deleted my account per my request. I never requested this. They had to have there tech locate my account. Once they did my password wouldn't work to sign in. They said they can not reset it from there end. Funny because neither could I seeing how the only way to reset it is by logging into your account and going to reset password. Hmmmmm how am I supposed to do that when my password does not work to log into my account. They want me to create a new account. Sure they do so I re-request photo's I already have printed. I requested 3 books so thats figuring out which 300 are already printed. Something is not right with groovebook. Reading all of these comments the same thing is happening to alot of people.

Awful. Commutation via email even if asked them to give u a call, they just write u another email with no way of resolving the issue

So I have ordered exactly one Groove book. One. In like a year. Yet I've been billed every single month. Not at $2.99 as advertised. But at $7.99. I finally emailed their "customer service" and received a reply saying they would give me so many free books since they had charged me. Figuring I'd give them one last chance I began uploading my photos for their July book. Well... guess I missed their deadline because this morning I went to complete the uploads wig pics of my grandaughter that I took on the Fourth of July and July's entire book is gone. Not even an option to go back to. I can reorder Hi ed book or begin August's book... BUT WAIT! I NEVER ORDERED A JUNE BOOK. SO WHY THE HELL IS "REORDERING JUNE" EVEN AN OPTION? I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I'm filing fraudulent billing with my bank. And I encourage every one of you to steer clear of this app. It is NOT user friendly, their is NO legitimate customer support, and they will keep taking your money even when you don't order anything. $#*!ing scanners.

I have ordered 3 books, was charged, and never received anything. Most irritating is NO communication and no way to contact the company.

No way to reset password. Quirky way of uploading photos and verifying photos you have sent before. Not user friendly at all.

I've been communicating with support for TWO MONTHS trying to get my pictures to update. POOR SERVICE. BAD APP. I've had this for over a year, and I'm deleting my account.

I am very disappointed with groovebook! I joined& I was suppose to have a free book but I never uploaded any pics to get a free book. But they took money from my bank account... I ask them to give back money they took but they refused. They email they keep the fees for subscription. It was suppose to be free to join I thought. I refuse to pay them for something I didnt get! I I did cancelled my membership. I had to contact my bank fraud dept to stop them from charging my account any more fees. They crooks my opinion! I will not use them. They dont have no contact by phone communication, and all replys has to be done by email only.to all you people that are trying to cancel you subscription. You can go through your bank or credit card co. Put a stop paymt against them and file fraud charges through your bank. That will put a stop to them taking your money and cancel your subscription. Thats what I had to do and now they cant take any more money and they canceled my subscription. That is what you probably wil have to do. You have a right to cancel and it is fraud what they is doing taking money when people dont want to use them.****************update. Groove book DID give me a refund after I filed a fraud against them. I thankful I got my money back and cancelled subscription.

I have tried to contact Groovebook... NO response.

DO NOT GET GROOVEBOOK!
I cancelled my subscription 3 TIMES AND HAVE 3 EMAIL CONFORMATIONS THAT THEY SENT AND I JUST CHECKED MY CREDIT CARD AND THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN!

The photos were nice in the beginning and now they're always dark and grainy... They suck and don't answer emails. Dont subscribe!

This was a gift for my husband and I after our marriage. I was totally excited because I am a picture lover and would be printing the pictures anyway. The gift giver, we will call her J, sent me all the information that GroveBook stated that I would need to get started. I followed the directions to a T. That was in October, November comes around and I get an email stating that there was a problem with the billing. Took me almost a month go get it sorted out, they only way to contact them is by email, very frustrating. I actually had to call them out on their facebook page to get a response to my emails! After receiving my first Grovebook I was very unimpressed with the quality of the photo and the fact that only one random picture is the size of the page in the book which is the size of a regular printed photo from Walmart. Not to mention that the color was crappy, to say the least, and the photos were grainy. Of course I referred to my pictures to make sure that I had not take them in the manner they were being presented to me and I had not. They were beautiful colorful non-grainy pictures on my device. This lead me to doing some research. I found out that if you use your smart phone the likely hood that the pictures will be the full size of the Grovebook is a joke. However I did read that if you use your camera or upload them from the computer there is a chance that they would be the entire page, WRONG. I have tried all forms up upload to Grovebook and I get the same crappy quality. I am so discouraged that I have not even been using my gift. I decided to write this review because after the first mishap with with billing I thought I was out of the woods and could enjoy what little pleasure and usable pictures I got for the remaining 8 months. Boy was I wrong. I received yet another email stating that there was a problem with the billing, but didn't you just tell me that there were 11 credits on my account? I have replied to them email and their solutions are not even really solutions to the problem they emailed me about! If I could have given less than 11 star I would have because in my opinion the rating should be negative stars!

When I received a one year subscription for Groovebook for Christmas I was really excited, until I tried to print my first book in January. I got an error message that said there was a credit card issue. I ignored the message and forgot about printing the January book. In February, I tried to print the book again and got the same error, so sent an email to *******@groovebook.com. I thought the issue would be resolved simply, but when it wasn't, I got upset and sent an email to groovebook asking for a number to call so I could talk w/ a human... instead of getting a "canned" FAQ answer that did NOT help. I just kept getting an error that stated I needed to enter MY credit card number to resolve the problem. But, my 1 year gift subscription had already been paid for, so why does Groovebook need MY credit card number? Four emails and 4 months later, I am still trying to figure out a solution, but why should it be so difficult? Suffice it to say, that I have yet to receive a book of printed pictures and my daughter's credit card has NEVER been credited, but what the HELL... it's just money! And in my opinion, the way this outfit is being run, they're probably doing this scam to at least 100 people a day times 365 days a year... pretty soon, there won't be a Groovebook because they've stolen enough people's money so there will be no need to stay in business? Bad company, NEVER, EVER use them if you can find an alternative. Hey, Wal-Mart is a reputable business and they can get your pictures printed for almost as cheap as Groovebook and they can't get away with outright STEALING from their customers. USE GROOVEBOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK! You've been warned!
