It's a different product than Shutterfly. Don't compare the 2. The quality is exactly what you should expect. They just acquired it so give them some time to iron out bugs. I love mine. No issues with mine

Groove book Sucks! Had original app and worked great! Quality of pictures overall was mediocre to poor. Delivery time Way too long--- customer service? That's a joke because there is no Customer service! Now Shutterfly bought Groovebook and things are Terrible... Can't open the app. The shutterfly group should call Themselves "gutter fly". They have totally ruined this process. Warning: save your money and don't try to do business with them!

This company sounded so good at first until I tried to upload my pics! Ugh! Took forever and kept crashing, but I thought it's ok cuz it's cheap and I will have pictures every month. Haha! The pics are low quality and they didn't even send the ones I had download half the time! Thank god my bank sent out new debit cards with new numbers... now groovebook can't charge my account anymore! Not worth the $3 a month!

Like a lot of the other reviews Groovebook was great until Shutterfly took over. The quality of the photos has gotten worse. I ordered their magnets and when the first set came in the images were completely blurry. I thought maybe it was because I zoomed in just a hair it distorted the image. The last set I ordered I did not alter the picture at all and it came in just as blurry as the last set. Why did the reminder feature get removed? Will never purchase from them again and will be canceling my subscription.

This is a rip-off. Pictures uploaded/ordered on November 17th have still NOT been received on December 10th. Previous pictures ordered are of extremely poor quality and cut off portions of the original images.

The home page of their web site shows that you will receive the pictures in 10-12 days. It is only if you find the "fine print" in their Frequently Asked Questions where it tells you that they create the book 3-4 business days after you order, and ship bulk mail which takes 10-12 business days for delivery. So you may not receive your book from one month by the time you are being charged automatically for the next months subscription cost.

I will never use this service again, and will tell everyone I know to stay FAR FAR away from GrooveBook!

The first two books I received within 4-6 weeks of each other. The next month August of 2014 I uploaded my pictures and submitted my order. I waited for months and did not get the book. No customer service phone # to contact for help. I submitted an email to customer service without any response. One year later, August 29,2015 I received the groovebook ordered a year earlier. I thought maybe they worked out the kinks and decided to download the app again and give it another try. No upgrades to the app and still no customer service support #. It says I still have an account, but I can't remember my password. The app and website direct me to the *******@grooveboook.com. Oh great the the black hole of support emails. Maybe I will get a response by next August, 2016. Don't bother it's not worth the headache.

Stay away from Groovebook! I have had multiple problems with them: 1: they never said I had to upload 100 photos so I waited... No photos. 2. They made a mistake with my address and I waited... no photos. 3. I gave them the corrected address TWICE and waited... no photos. 4. In the meantime my photos disappeared from my phone. I told them this and pleaded for help and instead received an automated response letting me know they will be reprinted and sent to THE WRONG ADDRESS! They had no trouble charging my account correctly! Bonnie

I first contacted them in 11/15 regarding my inability to upload pics. They said the would credit my account and cancel my subscription. I noticed charges again in January, 2016 and contacted them once again. They again confirmed my account was cancelled. Charges continued on my latest statement I received this month, so I filed a complaint with my credit card company, and they put a block on any future charges. Groovebook refuses to respond to my emails at this point. What a scam!

OMG! I ordered a book on April 12th and now it is May 13th. When i wrote to customer service, I got a response saying "please wait 15 days and you will have it". WTF! Its been a month! Groove book obviously doesn't care about customer satisfaction and I'm pretty sure they won't survive for too long. Don't even waste your time or get too excited about it - you do get what you [ay for and for 2.99, you get nothing.If i could give them no star - i would!

I signed up in 2014 and have loved it until the last few months. I upload 100 pics and I get multiple pics of a few that I uploaded. No consistency at all. Some I get 5 others I get 1 copy. Not sure what happened but it sucks now and I've cancelled my subscription. Contacted customer service multiple times and just get the "We'll give you a credit for another book" but the next one is the same freaking way! Yeah they aren't the greatest paper or quality but it was fine for what I needed.

I canceled this service in June 2015. They did not charge my card in July 2015 but then a charge showed up Aug 2015 I disputed with credit card and got credit. No charge in Sept 2015 but now in Oct 2015 they charged again! So frustrating! I confirmed service was canceled with Groovebook but they keep charging my card!

I was randomly charged $17 I emailed them to find out why I was charged they say it's because I haven't paid in a few months so they bulk the charge together? I was just charged July 15 $4.32! I emailed them back to show me which months I wasn't charged and if so isn't that an issue on their end? I have my proof, every month payment was deducted. How can I even submit to print photos if there was a payment issue? I told them I have proof of payments and they stopped responding when I told them to show me their proof of non payment. Thieves!

After a couple months of using Groovebook I was only slightly annoyed by the poor quality of the photos I was receiving. Since I was only paying a few dollars per book I just chucked it up to the fact that you get what you pay for and I wasn't using these photos for anything of high importance. However, after a couple months I'd had my fill and tried to cancel my subscription. This has been a NIGHTMARE! I have emailed them multiple times as their site says and I have called to cancel and gotten nowhere and am still being charged months later for books I'm not receiving. I finally just got off the phone with my bank and they are having to close my account and issue a new card. Even with the hassle that I will now have, I'm happy they won't be receiving a penny more from me

This application is $#*!. I closed my book on my close date then a couple hours later they closed another book. Then the next day they closed a third book. If my problem is not fixed im getting rid of the application. This has not happen to me since i had too update the application on my phone. Just called my card company and put a hold on there money till they fix my problem. And i have a code for a free book and they have not applyed that too any of my books. I have only got one book for free and that was my first one.

I ordered 2 books in January and they are great. I was so excited about ordering more. In February Groovebook said I uploaded 101 pics and wouldn't send them to printing. After many emails to customer service, I was told my book was in production and received a new book for March. I quickly filled it with 100 (and only 100) pics, but again couldn't send to printing because GB says I have 101 in book.

I've requested a cancellation, but understand from reviews this may be hard to get. Wish I had read these reviews first.

Groovebook makes it extremely difficult for you to cancel your membership and misleads you into thinking its canceled until SURPRISE you are charged again next month. I was told because i did not respond to the cancelation email with a reason why i wanted to cancel they didnt officially cancel my account. It wasnt until i erased my credit card information and they began emailing me asking me for payment that they finally canceled my subscription. Groovebook is a joke and a pathetic company to try to make their money this way. And the picture quality sucks

Customer service terrible. I ordered my 1st and 2nd book same day. After 16 days, I am still waiting on my 2nd book though I received my 1st one a week ago. They have charged me and now I'm praying to receive my 3rd book.

Wish they would send me my 2nd book or give me a refund and I'll reorder.

The email responses seem like they are automated.

Sounds like Groovebook is a terrible company to do business with and a company I definately do not want to do business with. I will have my photos printed at my local pharmacy. Shame on Shutterfly for scamming so many people.

I used to love Groovebook but then one day I tried signing in and it wouldn't let me. I even tried to sign up with a different email address and it still wouldn't let me sign in. They just can't seem to get it right!

It's a shame because the service was wonderful when it first came out. The pictures were clear, color was good, the paper was a good quality. When Shutterfly bought it, the quality of the paper and the color and clarity of the photos in the books went way down. Also, Uploading gets stuck, it uploads the same photos over and over again, even though you've uploaded 100 different photos. I love Shutterfly, but they should be ashamed for what they did to groovebook. Nothing but problems now, unfortunately. Not worth my time or money.

I, like soooo many others, I saw the amazing presentation on Shark Tank, where the photos had brilliant colors, were just as sharp & clear as the originals & were full pages with no white borders.
My first book came today. The photos I submitted were taken with a very good camera & were crisp, clear, sharp & colorful. The G-book I received did not have even 1 CLEAR photo. They were ALL grainy, dull, dark & had white borders on all the photos. I could NOT use these to frame for holiday gifts! They won't fit in a frame-too small for a 4x6 unless you leave the ugly white border on. Such a waste of time & money! Such poor quality! A HUGE difference than what was shown on the tv show! The photos were all of my new grandson & yet they chose a light purple cover... for a boy? No. I'm glad I was smart enough to cancel my subscription so I won't be out more money for poor quality photos. This company should have stayed small! The Shark Tank product is the product we all hoped we'd receive.

I just started receiving in July, I have received 2 books now, one for each month and my first book was supposed to be free and you charged me $3.16 and then in 2 weeks... you charged me $3.16 again, then in 2 weeks... you again charged me $3.16... I would like to hear from you and I would like a refund plz and thank you

I printed 100 photos from a recent vacation. I printed 100 photos with Groovebook. They all printed dark and grainy. I printed a smaller number of these same photos from the same vacation on the Shutterfly. All the same photos printed clear and bright. I wouldn't recommend Groovebook based on this experience.

My daughter signed up for this using my credit card (we "shared" a card while she was in college). My bad that I didn't notice the recurring charge for six months. When I asked her about it she said she could never get it to work and forgot she had signed up for it. When I contacted the company in Jan 2015 to cancel (by email), they replied that I hadn't given them enough info to find my account so it couldn't be canceled. A day later they sent an email saying the issue had been resolved, but they continued to charge me every single month. I finally had to call my credit card company to dispute charges and block them from further charges.

They charged my credit card twice a month for a few months. I tried contacting them about it in writting and what not and they never refunded me. I cancelled the subscription and to my surprise my credit card got charged again. Now I have to go through the trouble of disputing the charges with my bank and possibly having to cancell my credit card.
What a disappointment! Cannot trust them! For that is not worth using their services. Thiefs

I have tried to cancel 5 months in a row. I get the automated email then confirmation that it is canceled. And yet they continue to charge me. I have been through this process 5 times. There is NO customer service. It is a nightmare! Today, after being charged yet again, they emailed me this time telling me they received my request to cancel but cannot cancel without me giving them a reason! Beyond frustrated! :(( DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO they will charge you forever!

The pictures are not that great they're very cheap looking and they take a long time to arrive. I'm in the process of canceling and the customer service is horrible, after 3 attempts they haven't answered or canceled. DO NOT USE This app they're horrible
