It's a different product than Shutterfly. Don't compare the 2. The quality is exactly what you should expect. They just acquired it so give them some time to iron out bugs. I love mine. No issues with mine

Groove book Sucks! Had original app and worked great! Quality of pictures overall was mediocre to poor. Delivery time Way too long--- customer service? That's a joke because there is no Customer service! Now Shutterfly bought Groovebook and things are Terrible... Can't open the app. The shutterfly group should call Themselves "gutter fly". They have totally ruined this process. Warning: save your money and don't try to do business with them!

I liked the first book but did not want anymore, My credit card expired so I just let it go, I received random reminders to upload my photos but since my card was expired I was not worried, BUT NOW After 15 months I found a charge on my account? How can that happen? I wrote to them but after reading all this I don't expect much so I guess i will call the Bank but since it was ion a debit card I expect to be told they can not help. SO, I say stay away!

I ordered a groovebook and it came with all the pictures printed half way off the page. Couldn't get a refund. Its really a hit or miss cause the ones I got last year were fine.

I ordered a package for 8 groovebooks from QVC, super excited! Placed first order, says shipped 4/30/16, I emailed customer service they said it would arrive by 5/20/16, still NOTHING! I emailed them AGAIN this morning. As my 2nd book is ready to be created I haven't even received my first book... so cant give review on quality yet but the time frame to receive your order SUCKS! I WOULD NOT recommend this to a friend I can go to walgreens or cvs and choose photos and get them developed way easier! Also process to choose photos very hard I have to TAP picture on my phone hard to choose how many just weird and I have a Galaxy S7 phone, also to download pics takes way to long... it took my phone all night to process. Once I receive all my 8 books I WILL NEVER order again

I bought a subscription as a gift for my 18 yr old sister Christmas before last. The plan was for it to be for one year and then I would cancel it. We live halfway across the country from each other and she never used it and I think she forgot about it. She probably would have loved it if she had started using it because Groovebook was getting great reviews back then. (Im reading now that they were bought out recently which seems to be when it went downhill) Anyway, I tried to call to cancel, and got an automated message saying they only communicate by email. Thats never a good sign. So I sent an email requesting a cancellation. I forgot about it, didnt get a response, and realized two months later Im still being billed. Emailed again, this time sternly, and they responded saying they cant locate my account and needed more information. I wrote back with full name, billing address, and even a screen shot of my bank statement with their charges. They say they cant find any record of my name, my email or any of my sisters information and therefore cant do anything. Its ridiculous. Their customer service office who handles the emails is in India, so the whole operation is about as detached as possible. Theyre basically telling me that because THEY cant find the information that I KNOW I signed up with, Im just screwed and will just have to eat $3 a month the rest of my life? I dont think so. I feel like Groovebook is a big scam and because its only a few dollars a month they think they can get away with it without much of a fight. Screw these guys.

I have emailed, I have deleted my info online, I spoke with customer service... STILL I continue to receive email messages about my credit card information on my account that SUPPOSEDLY does NOT exist anymore... ugh! Do NOT sign up!

I was billed month after month for books that I never received. The company kept saying the books were lost in the mail and supposedly they sent me a new book in which I never received either. I paid for a total of three books that I never received. I close my account back in March and they had the nerve to bill me for A book in the month of July that I never even ordered. Customer service is awful. I requested multiple times to be refunded for the books I never received but Of course I never received that either. I would not recommend using this company. I signed up three months ago and haven't received a single book! I would not use them. They still charged me. I emailed them and they never got back with me...

I did GB when it was privately owned, it worked, it was much better,,, faster uploads things actually WORKED! Now that SF owns it, its gotten very poor, nothing opens, the app SUCKS. It just wastes hours of your time. Then before you can change things around in the photos,,, pooof,,,, NO DRAFT, nothing is saved and you must wait 20 minutes for ALL your pictures to load in again. THEY have fixed NOTHING! They know they have problems with their app, and IGNORE it, and steal your money monthly. This is a second chance I ghave them,,, Im about to cancel AGAIN. There are other sites that do the same thing. Can someone tell me what these are? Thank you.

I did everything they said about a month and a half ago, the app said they shipped my book a month ago and I have not received a book yet. I am extremely upset about this. This is a complete scam.

Ever since Shutterfly purchased groovebook, it's gone downhill. Customer service is horrible, pictures are terrible. There is NO phone number to talk to a human. For weeks it keeps telling me to update my credit card info when in fact it doesn't expire until 2021. So I did anyway again with a card that e lures in 2022. And they STILL keep sending me notices to update. I did not receive my December book. I uploaded January pictures, and when customer service finally answered an email,, they didn't answer ALL my questions. They once again told me to update billing, and said I did not upload pictures for December and January when I DID. I am thoroughly disgusted and pissed off at this company. I have been with groovebook the day after they aired on Shark Tank. Until Shutterfly purchased company, it was a great service with NO problems at all. Since then, a freakin nightmare. Plus I Received an email their service fee is going up. They were sure able to send that email-but not answer all my problems. Save your money, go elsewhere.

I used to love this company a new book great quality etc... Then Shutterfly bought them and I watched as the paper got thinner and the picture quality took a nose dive. Booo!

I ordered a groovebook, was charged and then I NEVER received it. I waited a whole month, never got a reply and then I cancelled my service. Don't waste your time.

I agree with the masses. Eversince Groovebook was taken over the customer service is so bad! I am charged multiple times a month for this service, and when I send them an email to their info department or billing department I get a generic response that makes it sound like they never even took the time to read my response.
I canceled my membership with them as some months I wouldn't even receive a book and when I would reach out to them they I would have to go back and forth about 4 times with not wanting to update my address but just looking for my missing book. They would say that they are sending another book right away but then charge me for it... I was already charged for it! One month I had 3 charges... non of which have been refunded at this point and I just send ANOTHER email to every email listed on their site. I would love a phone number of where I could call and actually talk to someone. This service is no longer worth it. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you dont care about customer service.

Stopped letting me upload yet continued to charge monthly fee and only response was to reinstall yet refused to diagnose the problem and though it was working for over one year

I am on my second book yesterday. It asked me if I wanted to upload now for 6.98 and I said NO. It did it anyway and now I, charged 6.98. I want to cancel my membership now

So, a friend of mine suggested Groovebook because she gets monthly photos for cheap. That's what I want. A book of baby photos that I can keep on a bookshelf and refer back to. I added my first 100 photos in May and added my card information. When my book closed out, I received an email that my card information was declined but if I hurried and fixed it I could still get my book. I changed it immediately and emailed them to ensure I'd still get my book. The answer was no. So I filled up my book again for June. My book closed out and again my card was declined. *two different cards*. So I emailed yet again and asked them what was up with this because my cards are fine and I haven't received a book. They asked me yet again to change my card information and address this time. So I did and filled up my July book. When my book closed out MY CARD WAS DECLINED AGAIN.

At this point I sent a very nasty email and got a prepaid card, put $30 on it and tried again for August. My August book I closed out early for an extra fee. MY. CARD. WAS. DECLINED. AGAIN. So I deleted the app and made sure they knew and everyone else I knew that I and no one else that I know will use their company.

I'm still getting charged after canceling account! They didn't even send me the 4 extra groove books I paid for! These people are out to get your money.

I was so excited to hear about them when it first came out. What a great idea?! The idea may be fantastic but how they run their business is not. This company in my opinion just doesn't care about their customers. Every SINGLE time I go on the app it doesn't work. It either takes a freaking week to upload my photos, it doesn't allow me to at all, stops working midway through or after I finally get my 100 pictures picked after fighting and waiting for it to respond THEN it stops working. It is literally a pain in the $#*!! Their customer service page is completely useless as well. Not only all that but all besides the first 2 books had bad quality printing. Oh yeah! Here's this too. 2 different books I received(that I know FOR A FACT) I chose all 100 photos myself had half the book filled with random, useless photos just automatically put in. I asked them about it and they said it was impossible that their system could do that. WELL IT HAPPENED! So clearly it does have the capacity to do that. I sure as hell wouldn't be waisting even 1 of my 100 pictures on some stupid screenshot of a quiz I did once. I mean; come on! This company could be soooo much better and really worth it if they took the time to listen and care about what their customers are saying, fix all the years worth of issues on their app and care about their printing quality. Just such a waist in my opinion. Go with someone else when getting the printed memories you deserve.

1st let me just say the one good thing about them is that you get a hundred pictures really cheap the pictures are NOT the best quality they are really thin and the color is not real great but with the prices nowadays so they say $2.99 for all the pictures well now that's not the case they charge you more than that and if you put a card on there that has money they will continuously keep charging you without your knowledge and without you approving it so in all reality there is a hidden agenda there. Then to top it off there's no 1 800 number or no number to contact anybody just do it over the internet yeah so they don't have to deal with the issues when they know that people are not satisfied. At first I did recommend and download the site for a few of my friends and now I'm telling people do noteven look at this app they are crooks and all thry want is your money so BEAWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROOVEBOOK! In just sayin and let it be known that u have been warned!

I LOVE this app... at least at first. All my pics were taken with my Galaxy S5 and my groovebook were amazing quality... color and clarity were AWESOME... especially for that price. My excitement was short lived however. SINCE IT WAS SOL to SHUTTER FLY the quality is HORRIBLE. Faded color... grainy... just HORRIBLE! There is NO customer service number to call and when you email complaints you get a generic reply DAYS AND DAYS later if at all that says sorry... we can reprint book or give you credit. NO answer as to WHY the quality is Sooooo bad now. This once was a great app... great quality product and great value. Once SHUTTER FLY took over its a giant FAIL! I know the man and his wife who sold this to Shutter fly are probably cruising the world with their millions... but this was a "passion" of theirs and now it's going down the toilet thanks to Shutterfly... what a shame!
I am cancelling and hope someone else comes up with a comparable product... someone who gives a rats $#*! about the product they pit out there! I will NEVER use or promote a Shutterfly product EVER!

Please do not order from these ppl they are just taking your money and not sending out the books. I paid for two months definitely a waste of time.

This is a mess since Shutter fly took over. No customer service, no understanding, no management, no satisfaction for such a loyal customer since 2013. Potential customers PLEASE RUN!
