I am devasting. I ordered a xmas present for my kid and used flexpay only to find out it was cancelled and they still ahve my money and i cant get it from my bank, mind u this was all the money i had for his gift. Y did they take my money if they cant give it back as fast as they take it and christmas is in n 4 days what am i going to do this is awful. Couldnt u at least warn people that if it doesnt go through and your order gets cancelled that it may take days to get your money back. My kid will not have xmas now cuz of HSN. That is theft! I want my money back theres no reason it should take this long. I rented a car a week ago and they held a hold on the deposit and it was bank in my bank in24 hours, so u cant tell me that it depends on my bank cuz my bank does it as soon as they see the hold released. Y do u say that from what im seeing on here that some people its took weeks for u to relaese there money! Thanks for ruinng my childs christmas! If i had my money back i could use it to buy them something else. How is this legal?
We just purchased an RCA Pro Tablet from HSN May 2019. After receiving it and setting it up, we contacted our cellular provider to activate the HSN tablet on our cellular account. ATT told us to switch out the SIM card. Much to our dismay there was no SIM slot on the RCA. ATT advised us the tablet was WiFi only, which meant we were using a product that was only usable on unsecured WiFi since we have no dedicated WiFi service where we live which was NEVER mentioned by the HSN Huskers on their infomercial. HSN would not be able to sell their crap if they were honest. They hope most people that purchase their crap won't understand "unsecured" and use it at their peril.
You watch these CARNY folks on HSN infomercials and they go through the Switch & Bait process so fast you don't get to spend anytime on the important details.
They like to lull in into a sense of trust to follow the bouncing ball to order the product because we're telling you the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
We're STUCK with the additional add-on's we purchased with this HSN RCA Tablet.
Talked to an HSN Supervisor June 9,2019 at 9:45am. He defended HSN's Infomercial not having to tell the BUYER all the facts. He stuck to this position during our 30 minute conversation arguing that it was not HSN's responsibility to advise the prospective customer regarding the limited unsecured connectivity.
Buyer Beware should be their MOTO.
Please do not buy from hsn they do not care about the customer all they care about is your money the product they sale are last year model I know because I brought a cellphone from them and it was last year model not this year model when I got the phone the screen was crack so I sent it back and got other cellphone this time it came with no back cover or battery and it was the wrong was told we are sorry but we are out of the cellphone you ordered so we will give you the number of the vendor I call vendor was told it hsn problem talk to them the phone I brought was Samsung galaxy 2 I had nothing but problem with the phone and all hsn did was take $50.00 dollars off the price I'm still stuck with a cellphone that doesn't work well the and it looks like it had been a use cellphone when got it. I had a nother problem I had found a camera on a nother website for less I ask hsn if they match prices they had a camera that I was looking at I told them my situation and if they could help me out and stead of making 4flexpay could I make 6 flexpay because I need the camera by Friday and I told them normally I could the 4 flex pay was told we don't match prices and no we can't help you out if you still want the camera buy friday it will cost you $27.95 extra for shipping I told hsn that I was posting blog about them and let people know about hsn and I would not be shopping hsn
Any more and I hope other people do the same they say they hate to lose you as customers but they won't do anything for you.
I placed my first order on a Friday and then I got an email saying that I needed to verify my information. Firstly, he assumed I was a female when I am male, 2nd he didn't ask any information of me at ALL! He asked for my phone number and said it wasn't on my account. I had called to place the rep put my area code wrong by one number, 3rd the guy had the worse attitude and was like "I find reason to believe you are not who you say you are because my sources show you as 90 years old" and then starts laughing! If you see your "sources," I'm in my late 20s! When I called the lady asked for my SS and DOB to see if I qualify for the credit card which was fine so that alone shows my DOB, age, sex, etc. The guy was beyond rude and was like "well I'm canceling your account and your account is goooonne! Ok?" I have never ever been spoken to the way he spoke to me. I then tell him how did he verify my information when he didn't even ask for anything, and he continued to to say "well, I don't believe you. Your orders canceled and I get the final say and I say no. So I have nothing more to say to you so have a good day." Then he hung up I me. I am beyond appalled by this! I'm glad I'm not doing service with them. I'm glad I'm getting my money back. Looking at the reviews, I would have probably got a defective 2nd hand pice of crap anyways. I requested a supervisor to call me so I'm going wait on that and I hope that guy gets fired! Not professional, rude, and awful company all together. Beware! I'm glad I didnt start with this company.
They are continually MISLEADING the consumer during their demonstrations and so many products are made in China! What happened to the USA?
Tried to place an order online for a Dell 17.3" AMD A8 8GB/1 TB Win 19 Laptop. Called HSN customer service and come to find out, before I even had a HSN credit card, there was a previous bill that I owed $14.98 for some jeggings back in 2014 that I didn't finish paying for on their flex plan. Must I say, that I haven't even used the card since I got it and they didn't even know anything about the bill till I called, and that's when they decided to place the hold on my account at that time and not before I tried to order something!
So I had to call them back because I wasn't comfortable with the call because the lady was asking me all sorts of questions as if she didn't have or know my information! So I told the lady I would call back because I felt uncomfortable with the call. Not knowing after the call, that she had me doomed already which is "blocking" myaccount!
So I call Synchrony Bank to get some answers and they transferred me to an HSN Representative! Finally the lady tells me my HSN credit card account is on hold because of the past billl for $14.98 back in 2014 that has absolutely nothing to do with my credit card. I didn't even have a HSN credit card back in 2014. I used my own funds to purchase the item. So after paying the $14.98 I tried to order the laptop again today and couldn't. Had to call HSN customer service AGAIN! So the Collection Representative tells me I owe $14.98. I tell her that I already paid it but why is my account still on hold? Oh yes I see it has been paid says the rep! So I ask her why was my credit card placed on hold anyway when the $14.98 had nothing to do with my account? She was like it does have something to do with your account.
How stupid! HSN placed my HSN credit card on HOLD for $14.98. Really? This is totally ridiculous! I really had high standards for HSN, but after this, I ll never waste the time to even watch their channel! I've heard so many negative things about the card, I'm really scared to use the damn thing! It's like nightmare on elm street!

Tijdens de cursus in 2018 kreeg ik te horen dat m'n moeder ongeneeslijk ziek was. Ik gaf aan de cursus op een ander tijdstip te willen vervolgen. 1) Totaal geen empathie of medeleven van de operationeel directeur Bas van der Ende of ik bewijs wilde sturen, zodat ze konden onderzoeken of ik in aanmerking zou komen voor de overmacht regeling, wat zou betekenen dat ik de cursus nogmaals kon doen voor de helft van de kosten ( ik heb toen een foto gestuurd van moeder helemaal geel van de alvleesklierkanker)
M'n moeder overleed 5 maanden erna.
Ik was kapot van verdriet
Nu 2023 geef ik aan alsnog de cursus te willen afmaken, krijg ik te horen dat ik destijds niet genoeg bewijs heb aangeleverd en dat ik de training dus niet kan vervolgen tegen het destijds aangeboden gereduceerd tarief. Ook hebben ze de overmacht regeling ondertussen verwijderd.
Van Bas van der Ende, operationeel directeur hoeft u dus geen empathie te verwachten. Als u of u naasten iets ernstigs overkomt, waardoor u door overmacht de cursus niet kunt bijwonen, bent u het geld kwijt. Walgelijk

Answer: They tell u how long u hv to activate that phone! It's called 'pay attention'. I've been with them over 15 yrs. I do a lot of shopping online. Can't beat the returns or customer service. Watch ur items for 30 day price decrease. They refund the difference! I hv a blast getting $$ back.
