Don't answer any questionnaire ID.me sends you about your experience with them. They don't let you go ahead unless you answer every question they demand you answer, even if they have no provision for your answer.
After you sign up and upload your documents and it does you facial recording it gives you an error message and will not allow you to answer the questions, so you don't know where or whom has your documents, personal information and facial recording 🤔 this is not a trust worthy sight.

It take a little time at peak hours but if you the process early morning it doesn't take very long to complete the process.
I thought IDme was against me. During my first encounter with IDme my ID could not be scanned after two hours of effort. I was a.pissed consumer. My cell phone was a little dated so I used Chromebook. Now I am able to use IDme.simply at an array of agencies. I am extremely satisfied.
I tried to verify with ID.me in February 2024.
However, I had my social card and passport ready, but I changed my US driver's license to a Korean driver's license. In the process, I ended up keeping my US driver's license at the Korean driver's license examination center.
To find this, I need a flight ticket to go abroad.
However, I had no opportunity to go abroad, so I had to wait a year.
I went to Vietnam in March of this year, bought a flight ticket, presented it at the driver's license examination center, and was able to get my US driver's license and verify it with ID.me.
I already had a ID me account that worked but had to set up a new one that was more difficult technically do then the one I set up some time ago.Not sure why I had to do it again what happened to my old account?
After you learn how to use ID.Me you need it to access your government site, for taxes, SS etc.
One problem if you share a e- mail with your wife ID. Me wouldn't sign her in that's a problem with with the IRS because they need a Ippin no.for her also. Help us please?

My first time using this site and each step was extremely simple. It began when ID.me’s CEO and founder Blake Hall, a decorated Army Ranger, watched a military veteran display their DD214 separation paperwork to a store employee to claim a military discount. The document held far more information than was needed to verify military service. Exposing so much personal information for a single benefit was risky and unnecessary. There had to be a better way.
We set out with the mission to make community verification easier and more secure. We began with the military community, but quickly grew to include students, teachers, nurses, first responders, and government employees.
