Need to fix the problem that it is not working error message and process error with paystubs paperwork
I logged into IDme 3 years ago, gave the personal information they required to set me up with an ID
From that day on all I have to do is select IDme on the VA site and I am logged in. Todate none of my personal data has been compromised
It's a great and secure simple process.
I hope that it's secure. I say this because of how bad the Biden administration did on everything. I hate to use that all-inclusive word but it fits, there's nothing that He did right.
It took me 17 verification attempts over a period of 3 days to finally get one approved. When you are older and have hand tremors taking a picture of a document isn't easy. Besides that even the scans from my multifunction printer were not accepted. I did try the in-person verification at a UPS kiosk & that wasn't any better as the camera is stationary, but you are now holding the document.
Besides the above be sure you know exactly what they are verifying. Every choice of primary and/or secondary documents they accept do not work.

Having a US Government internet login account is a good idea to be secure and usable over different agencies.
Multiple steps, confirmations, verifications, picture taking of front and back of license, submitting info, video confirmation,...too much.
Very easy to use with step by step directives. This wasn't a nerve racking experience...very smooth operation.
It was a great experience signing up with ID ME. I know this is the future of things to come especially when it comes to identity theft. Upload documents before beginning will make it more easier. So don't put it off, jump on it now.

It began when ID.me’s CEO and founder Blake Hall, a decorated Army Ranger, watched a military veteran display their DD214 separation paperwork to a store employee to claim a military discount. The document held far more information than was needed to verify military service. Exposing so much personal information for a single benefit was risky and unnecessary. There had to be a better way.
We set out with the mission to make community verification easier and more secure. We began with the military community, but quickly grew to include students, teachers, nurses, first responders, and government employees.
We built partnerships with hundreds of retailers and expanded into regulated sectors like government, healthcare, and financial services with legal identity verification for high-risk transactions.
