A true pain in the rump. Absolutely no need for all this. I had an active ID me. Verified by federal documents. Unaccepted by the VA. Now I'm being forced to change the legal spelling of my name for this wed review!

Had one from 5 years ago. Didn't remember pswd. Kept trying. Then said couldn't verify. Got text to phone 3x to click link 3x then finally got it to verify but couldn't upload id picture. Took a picture and I'd me logged me out. Started over again. Quit til next day. Same thing wouldn't verify, try again. Took pic of I'd so finally got link after phone verification and was able to get it accepted. VI Assist. No help. If I have to log again, i pray not so time consuming and difficult. Exhausting!
Ms Kelly was quite a lady helping me set up ID-ME. I really enjoyed all that she showed me,I am thankful for all that she told that my transition would be safe, there too many hackers out there just trying to get into our business.
Like pulling teeth, add an impending federal mandate—(IRS-taxes due soon. And I have to wrestle with this company too?)

Seemed daunting upon reading the instructions for uploading the drivers license, etc, but proved to be well documented and easier to use than expected. Instruction and feedback ("move to a less well lit area") were very helpful. I tend to read only a portion of the directions so I had to redo a step or two. It's all there for the patient person!
I feel the system is very secure. The verification checks are needed and excellent. I also like the system is user friendly and easy to navigate around. For me and most people, these are very important features.
The experience for itself was very challenging, because I never had such, and it was unique for me. When I solved one obstacle it came another. I had to thing very hard to overcome the obstacles a then to meet a referee to prove me identity. But in the end, all the effort pay off.
I had not had an ID.ME account for over two years but know how important it is for a person to be able to verify they are whom they are. I just got ID.ME last evening and I already know how it will help me to verify myself in the coming days. ID.ME is extremely important and is something every citizen should have! Never ever give anyone your login info, as I learned the hard way, some years ago!
My experience with ID Me was very satisfying and with peace of mind. Try them you will be glad you did. Keeping your personal information privately locked away inside a lock that only you can unlock.
I made the appointment and just sat my phone down. One notification to make sure I had my documents. One more for right before it started. Then is was on and got out of there. Super easy
Bad and horrible I changed my phone number now I can't get in the system. The number they've on file is disconnected there's no way you can text or call and give me a six digit code.
I was getting some business stickers and letterhead envelopes at Vista Print and ID.me popped up at check out. At 1st I was like, $5.00... $10.00... come on for cryin' out loud. But it was at Vista Print and my experiences with them have always been awesome. Wouldn't you know, the 1st time they glitched. The 1st time I gave them a service date near the start. The second time I gave a date closer to my discharge and it went right through. Bam! It recalculated my order instantly. My total dropped from $247.00 to $198.00. Thank you ID.me and Vista Print! You'll never know how much it meant to me. When it comes to showing your appreciation to veterans, you deserve a medal and thank you for your service!
Put simply, this system does not work on the IRS website. Hours of wasted time on multiple devices, unclear instructions, no available help or instructions once it failed. Useless.
My experience was great, I thought it would be hard, lengthy yes but easy and worth it. Knowing that that you're safe and covered with all the features is beneficial for me.
I would say my experience was as simple as possible, breezed right through it. Didn't have too much trouble getting into the video call with the agent. I do like the filing process, it wasn't too much to fill out.
Had this system in place for a few years now. How ever today when I really needed it for my edd benefits I could not get verified. After about 2 hrs of trying I gave up. Now I don't know what I can do since I'm not home and won't be for another month.
I recently came across a new app called "ID.me". I feel every company that deals with our personal information should use this company. They make you go through a multiple step ID process. Just to make sure it is in fact you. Having my identity stolen recently I was more than happy to use this app. It was easy, (I'm an old woman) professional and I had no issues going through the app. I highly recommend this for your company. Or if you are a customer like me, I highly encourage you to use it!

I always and CONSISTENTLY have issues with using ID.me due to the fact that it will not work. It will return me directly to the login page without actually allowing me to either create or update my ID.me credentials. I have had it interfere with my school's website, the FAFSA website, the Social Security page, and other government pages. I'm thoroughly unimpressed, and I don't know if it's my actual identity profile that has a problem, or if it's the entire damn page. Either way, something needs to give, and I honestly am at a point in my life where I'm tired of fighting with glitching code. But what else can I expect from a government-run website?
I found the instructions confusing. Finally ID.me wrote that they had verified my identity, but the IRS then would not give me a IP PIN. It is not even clear to me if I succeeded in establishing an account with the IRS.
I spent an hour entering the same information over and over before it was finally accepted. Then when I tried to submit this review, I was forced to enter my name and email address before the system would process the review, in spite of the note that reads: +Add review details (optional). What's up with that?
