Pathetic. I did the ID me think. Then I got an e-mail asking me to log on to my social security. Then it asked me to do the driver's license that was already completed. I tried to log in again twice and was locked out.
I have little experience. I have to learn ID. I think on my computer then my phone won't inform me the a wired wow. I still wonder about that. I hope you will improve and rule. That better. I learn more about the responsibilities of Id.me online someday and some time.
I tried very hard to get self-service "liveness detection" to work. As a software developer with decades of experience, I think this part of the app was either malfunctioning or very poorly documented. The only camera instructions were "Take a selfie." There was a gray oval where it said "Center your face". I kind of expected the app to activate the camera on its own and display my face there, but that didn't happen just a blank gray oval. Manually opening the camera app didn't help. Eventually I gave up and did the in-person video call with an agent, which was VERY fast and pleasant. Make it easy on yourself and just do that.
I had issues verifying my account at home, I went to your third party agency in Manhattan and they allow me to used their WiFi and I tried and it worked. So they gave me back my documents that I was about to upload again in person… I think the internet have a lot to do with the verification process… thanks
I was about to file my income tax on line electronically but the program said my agi for 2023 did not match the IRS record agi for me so I decided to log in to the IRS and look up my 2023 agi. I was able to do this and enter in the correct ari. Interestingly the IRS agi for me was the same value as the one I originally entered but for some reason the tax software no longer said I had entered in the incorrect value. Odd that it gave an error only to not give an error after I was able to verify the agi on the IRS web site.
I was having trouble for 4 days after filing it took way to long to contact me back with information I kept getting rejected even with sending the documents in
It was a life saver I was able to access my information with no problem this was my very first time using I heard about it through a friend and I decided to try it out it was amazing yes I will use it again and tell my friends about it as well
I use ID.me ALL THE TIME, and have done so for many years. It helps me check on Social Security, validates me on the IRS page, and even confirms my veteran family status on the Omaha Steaks site. Now that's handy.

If you don't have to use this invasive ID program don't do it. It's cringe. Just one more step closer to getting a ID chip shoved up your $#*!. I don't believe this info will not be compromised.

I had a hard time getting the right photo setting so that you could read the information on my ID and had to redo it like ten times. After that it was all good
I was able to save time by using this app and setting up my account with all of my information and it's ready for the agent to click on saving them time as well
All process was so quick and I had some questions regarding a safety of my personal information but the video call or person clear all my doubts, and I'm really satisfied with the service
It took a while and was difficult to do the document pictures due to my eyesight. It would be easier if not for this. Most people will find the process easier than I did.
This was a pretty straightforward, easy experience... no major hiccups, and a pretty quick process. The only thing I would change would be making the text larger for people with low vision (like me).

Every time a site requires me to sign in I am required to use another sign in source such as Google. That is the only way I can id.me will work! Totally screwed up!
