ID ME is a secure and easy to set up program which allows you to have a firewall protecting the access process for your data when you have a need to visit various state and federal agency's websites. We use it with ease in accessing information, forms, etc and when the need arises to view our own data at various state and federal agencies. We heartily recommend getting set up with it for your own needs!
V now this is what I'm talking about is pretty good one bad I mean I've seen better. I've seen worse. You know get over it. I just have to fill up this thing questionnaire things. I'm pretty much talking bull$#*! so yeah I don't know if I'm at 100 yet or not but I wouldn't read my review. U.S. born citizen with family generations who gave service to this country, who has paid taxes and voted, now subjected to a verification process that implies the fascist undertones of this Project 25 agenda. I was forced to go through the whole process of verification after I did my 100% service connected diabled husband, who easily verified. I fought for his right to care but I had to jump through the whole gammit of verification which was ridiculously time consuming!
This system asked for information that didn't address whether the individual signing up is an authorized disabled vet. This lead me to believe that any USA citizen could get an account on this site. It also means that they have more information then they should have to create a veteran's account.
ID.me help me to sign in and they give you a password that you can keep. It doesn't frustrated you loading your picture are finding documents. And my information is confidential and they don't share with others. Thank you
I have already completed a lengthy ID.me survey. Increases time and effort needed to access the sites that I need to access. Yet allows another entity to access and track my data and activities. Increases privacy risks to my info and activities and compromises the security and access to my identity.
Bad. You are require to upload and give lots of personal information. Not a day goes by that there is not a data breach, why should I trust these people with our data? What is the penalty for them if personal data is released? 1 year fraud alert IS NOT sufficient. Lots of trouble creating an account. First got a 4301 error with no explanation why. NOTHING HAS CHANGED (same phone, address, email, name as last year filing paper tax return). System said to wait 17 min for a video. Waited 50 min! And they still rejected documents submitted. Probably just an automatic AI reject. Uploaded another document. Now they said they'll send email. Right... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! No number to call. Go ahead and "submit a ticket". I'll give them 2 days, then I'm contacting all my congressmen.
Passport should have separate database that stores info for I d me that way people do not have to dig up paper copies of birth certs and ss# paper cards its dinosaur and not realistic for billions of people. Decentralized life is coming.

It began when ID.me’s CEO and founder Blake Hall, a decorated Army Ranger, watched a military veteran display their DD214 separation paperwork to a store employee to claim a military discount. The document held far more information than was needed to verify military service. Exposing so much personal information for a single benefit was risky and unnecessary. There had to be a better way.
We set out with the mission to make community verification easier and more secure. We began with the military community, but quickly grew to include students, teachers, nurses, first responders, and government employees.
We built partnerships with hundreds of retailers and expanded into regulated sectors like government, healthcare, and financial services with legal identity verification for high-risk transactions.
Today, we’re building a digital identity network where users verify their identity once, and never have to re-verify their identity again across any organization where ID.me is accepted. It’s just like the driver's license in the physical world. Once you’re verified, proof of your identity goes with you everywhere.
