Their face scanning step wouldn't work on my laptop at all. I tried requesting a link be sent to my phone, but didn't work either.
Ended up having to log in on my phone, which gave me limited access to the site I was trying to ultimately visit.
On top of that, I shouldn't have to give my personal information to a private company to access essential government services.
Not everyone has a smart phone and this service assumes that everyone does. Trying to verify my identity with the resources I had available was less than ideal. There should really be more options available for those of us in this situation. It wasn't a requirement to have a smart phone before, why is it seemingly a requirement now? I do not appreciate this service.
Well me and my buddy tried registering into ID.me. He successfully got through but I had to show some documents. I wasn't sure if I had them all or If I had the technical equipment to send them to you. So I went to my community center for help and they helped me get connected.
Felt very comfortable on giving information trustable company I will definitely recommend a friend to try it. Great service and will if I need use service again with ID trustable company no doubt great job guys.

I was reapplying for my benefits for unemployment, overall I had to reset my password and my email to provide my information so that I can start the process for my benefits.
It was relatively easy for someone who is not really tech savvy. I just don't know if I had to use it or it was an app that captured my information. The information I research said it was used by government agencies. I want security and I hope it was necessary. Otherwise if it gives a level of security then I very pleased. That's my only concern.
ID.me suspended my account out of blue. Then when I emailed its customer support, I was then told my account was no longer suspended. But when I logged in according to their instructions, its website said I was still suspended. I had to email the customer support again and was told that my account was still suspended. I tried to get further response from ID.me customer support but didn't hear back from them until I contacted its customer support on LinkedIn. I felt frustrated and helpless throughout the entire process.
I was entering my information for a friend request leaving for work overseas. I didn't know which agency I was to register under so it was confusing to me that I needed to pick an agency to register under. Once I figured out the agency it became a little clearer to fill out my information.
