I live in France and have entered the information as requested in ID.me for Social Security Website and still do not have acces to Social Security Online Services.

Idina is something that it was hired by the IRS to get people's verification of their identity truly understandable however I've never heard of the company and only trusted it because of the fact it was coming from the IRS I've never used this company nor have I had ever heard of it everything seemed to be okay though it was hard to identify myself using the document of my driver's license because a driver's license isn't made to be photocopied so after three attempts then I had to do the phone identity made it complicated only because of the fact I really didn't have the time but had to make the time.
I tried to creat an account and kept getting error messages. Virtual assisant no help. No phone number to call for help. In person, with a human, communication has not happened.
I cannot complete creating an ID.me account. I don't know why. I returned to the other open browser tab, per the instructions, it states: "SOMETHING WENT WRONG. We are unable to process your request. Overall, I found ID not need to be simple and easy, but some of them procedures had complications. For example, the upload function,, I uploaded the wrong document and it was difficult erase or delete and upload the correct document.
Signup and signing process for capturing DL or passport photo very poor. Rejected photos but could still verify and capture data. It took me two hours to complete the process.

I myself had a horrible experience! And I never did get my acct. Set, well I did but then it takes you out and makes you sign back in well it said all my info was wrong. I gave up. Good luck!
It was terrible and still has not been solved. Something is wrong with your system and I was not able to get verified by ID.me for Norwegian cruises. It was embarrassing.
Very difficult process if you do not have a video camera and microphone connected to your computer. Or if you have only land line in your name, and do not have a smart phone in your name.
Full of lies, $#*!ty technology, bull$#*! lying employees, not available on phone or any other way to contact. Takes months to get anything done from these $#*!s.
I am currently working on a dispute with back taxes, using this ID me has saved me so much time and energy and not to mention gas in obtaining the information that I needed for my case.
The site is very time consuming, NOT user frindly and not unless you have extensive technology experience will be very hard to navigate it. No one sick should have this torture of dealing with this site.

When inviting a client to a video call, provide them a (Youtube?) demo video of a call which would show that push "<" (on the screen's left causing a dropdown in the top left corner) and whatever else. And show the client how to communicate via a printed message.
I was nervous about providing my personal information online, in fear of fraud and or identity theft, the staff/agent put my worries at ease, the invitation for video call was provided before the 2-3 period, the agent was personable while remaining professional and provided reassurance throughout process. The call itself was less than 4 minutes.
I love ID Me for accessing my government accounts. You only need to remember one password and it is so secure. ID ME is so easy and convenient to use.
I uploaded my docs and recieved a message for 3 Mins to get doc Approval. I waited 37 mins for approval. I had to leave the session. I had to log back in the following day. This is a very poor experience. It was a Sunday that I uploaded docs. If there was not anyonme available on Sundays or for whatever the reason THE USER SHOULD BE MADE AWARE, so they can come back when the docs can be approved.
Forced to use this subpar service to gain access to our own info. Another taxpayer funded monopoly. We shouldn't have to use a single point of contact for every interaction with government
