As a non technical person, I really had no real problems setting up an account. Directions were easy to follow, and everything went smoothly and quickly.
From beginning to end please have patience because it is a difficult process to understand and do.

Using I.D. Me is really quick. I use it to sign into IRS. Being that it has been some time of signing into IRS...I didn't have to worry about remembering my password.
Lack of customer service and refusal to provide support ends in denial/postponement of benefits. Why would anyone do business with someone that can not be gotten a hold off? They hit a huge windfall by getting in with TWC. But I would never use them
The ID. Me was pretty easy to understand. The only confusing part for me was the video selfie. The loading bar should load at you are successful or not. The way it bounced was confusing if I was doing it correctly
I needed to access my account on the IRS web site and had to use this "service". They REQUIRED me to do a video for ID purposes. At one point, it looked like I could avoid this by linking to my Google account but that just helped them get more info about me. They still required me to do the video. If you read their "privacy policy" basically they'll share your info with whoever they want to. Hate this ongoing behavior by all the tech "services". They wonder why we want the government to break them up and limit their power over us (huge eyeroll!).
Extremely difficult to use this site. Had to continuously tried to upload a photo. Then that exact same photo was accepted for times later. Ridiculous and overkill for such a simple site.
My first attempt with a young girl sucked, she must be using a crappy computer and wouldn't verify my documents. The young man on my second attempt went smooth

They accepted a wide variety of documents. I didn't even have to scan my physical documents and ID card, they sent a link to my phone where I was able to take and upload photos directly to the website. The instructions to take the photos were very clear and the process was simple. It took mere minutes for my documents to be reviewed and accepted, and from there I was on the waitlist for a videocall with an agent. The waitlist said 5 minutes, but they were ready even sooner than that. I clicked to join the call, and was met by a prepared agent who explained the directions clearly and in detail. I was on the call for 5-10, when she was done verifying my documents she made sure to explain the next steps of the process to me before checking in and ending the call. Overall the process was so smooth and simple. There was nothing unreasonable about the entire experience. 10/10.
