How can you possibly justify charging a cancellation/change fee during this financial/health crisis? Even the greedy airlines are waiving their fees. This puts you in a class lower than them. Shame on you.
Everything went without a hitch. Our airline, New Zealand, did change the time for our return flight from Australia, but I was kept abreast of that. I brought my tickets 9 months in advance, so I was taking some risk, especially since I did not get flight insurance. For a total savings of $700 for two tickets, I felt it was a good risk. I also went in with both eyes open that I would loss my money if I changed my mind about the trip.
Can't trust their bookings and changing a flight costs a ton. They made me pay dearly when I tried to change my flight. They call it 'penalty' and 'handling fees' which was about $350! Still can't belive this, but what choice did I have? Never ever again!
The site was easy to use and prices were so awesome. Thanks for doing what you do! We don't travel a lot but when we do it's great to have a reliable site to immediately start with. I had to coordinate with one of the airlines following our booking to have a minor choke accompany us and that was also quite easy. I didn't actually talk to anyone with Justfly, but I also didn't need to.
My experience with just fly has been fair enough,,, the only bad experience I had with them is when I tried to change the timing of my flight, they told me that it will cost something more than the ticket price itself. And another experience was I booked many hotels with just fly, one hotel charge me resort fee which was not mentioned when I booked thru just fly site. Upon asking to the hotel they told me that their fees are not visible when you guys sell them online and they themselves does not know the answer.
I wish I could put 0 stars! Bad experience all the way around. We got to their site through Kayak. Went to the JustFly site where in the middle of booking they charged $10 each more which we were ok with because we needed that specific flight time. We thought we paid for the 2pm flight time and we have screenshots to show that was what was confirmed. But, when the receipt came up, it was a 7am flight time! Over an hour waiting for customer service (no joke - I have the screen shot) and then they said it's not refundable! The booking was less than 2 hours ago and it was on Frontier which says you can cancel within 24 hours. Customer service guy just kept repeating, "It is not refundable." Waste of time and money all around for lies! And, I was on the phone for over an hour and 15 minutes.
Be sure what you order, because refund is more than just click of a button. I reserved a ticket to London earlier In October, cost $406.3 weeks later, I needed to cancel the reservation. I called their 1-800 number several times and it didn't go through. I cancel the ticket online anyhow. Then discovered it charged my card $200. Then I called their number for third time, the rep said it is a cancellation fee for reservation. Basically I spent 1 way ticket for $600.
I recently was told by a friend to check this site out. To find the best deal for my flight to go home to my family I see once a year. I had my email set up to watch flights in case they went down. They sure did. I received email and I paid for it. I was extremely happy with your service. I will definitely use it again next year when I fly back to visit my family in minnesota. Thankyou justfly.
They force you to pay too much money and go against travel rules. I had a family emergency and they did not care. One of the reps said that I had to provide a doctor note to proof that there was an emergency, while the job that pays me did not ask me for that. The hold time was unbelievable in addition to the bad customer service. Don't ever deal with this company.
We flew with them before and it was fine. This time we booked our tickets to Europe and showed up to the airport. Turns out your passport needs to be valid for 3 months after your return. We never received the email notification we should have. We even logged all the passport information into the login and never got any alert or notice at all. They accepted our passport information and we did not get a single notice of any kind.
At the airport we were turned away and told to call justfly. After being on the phone for 2+ hours Justfly said there was nothing they could do. No refund. No transferring the tickets. Nothing. We could buy new tickets but ours were useless. I know I should have researched passport law but shouldn't they have notified me or allowed me to reschedule with a fee of some kind? Very disappointed! Will not be using this website again after seeing what happens when things don't go as planned.
Love the website! The website is quite user friendly and you can always navigate it without any hassle. Ive always been able to find cheap fares on this site compared to any other even the airlines own website. Recommend for anyone whos looking to save a lot of money on air fares.
I wish I had read the reviews before booking through Justfly. Just as ive seen other reviews /complaints, we also had to change flight dates and was charged a $150.00 cancellation fee and received $ 975.00 travel credit. When we went to book a new flight it was going to cost $ 800.+ dollars. I talked to them twice and received the same lame excuse, that the cost of flights are very expensive right now, I told them I could book flights with almost anyone and pay the same as the original ticket price, that the credit voucher was worthless. With the original price of about $ 1000. 00 + the $ 150.00 fee and then another $ 800.00+, I'm paying double the cost of the original purchase price. DO NOT book through these people ( I mean scammers)! I'm only listing my booking number in case they do decide to resolve this to my satisfaction, but I doubt they do anything based on other reviews.
Beware of hidden charges including never heard of $29.90 for having 2 seats together when both tickets are bought in same purchase. Also $4 service charge ($2 each ticket issued)
Total $33.90 separate and additional charge benefiting JustFly.com found on credit card statement
Be advised this is not a charge from airline for seats selection or customary charge for upgraded seats, but an unilateral additional fee from JustFly.com

We bought our tickets through justfly going from Minneapolis to Kona, Hawaii. Justfly adjusted our itinerary so that we landed in San Francisco several hours after our connecting flight left. We had to reschedule our flight a day later with the airline itself. When we contacted justfly, to at least get a refund for the seat assignments we paid for, the agent stated this could not be done. Do not use this company. If you do you are asking for trouble and the loss of days of your vacation. If I could give this company zero stars I would.
I got a flight in short order for a good price and would totally recommend using JustFly because I was also able to claim my seats in advance. Claiming my seating is very important to me. So, this was a great feature as well as the pricing and time of the flights.
A JustFly.com ad popped up on another site through which I was about to make a reservation. I decided to check it out just in case and to my surprise found flight options I had not seen through the original site and with slightly better prices. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
A friend called me last February and asked me to come visit them in Victoria, CA. So, I agreed to go there and booked a flight with JustFly. Well, they also recommended that I used this agent because it was faster and cheaper. So, I did.
When my I went there, everything went well. I had no problems with my tickets. I did not have to call customer service, at all. My flight was on time. It was certainly a memorable experience.
I bought a ticket on justfly (directed there from hipmunk), rather than through Air Canada because justfly gave me better seat options. I'm in Canada and the justfly web site priced the ticket in Canadian dollars. So I paid with a Canadian credit card. Well, after I pay, on the receipt, it says I've been charged in US dollars. So now I have to pay an extra $35 to my bank for the currency conversion. Not a huge amount of money but it's messed up that justfly did not disclose the currency it would use to bill me. I called and complained to a supervisor, who dropped the change fee to $25 from $75, but then they wanted me to go through the whole process of rebooking the flight over the phone. While I was on hold, I looked up some reviews and got worried, so I decided to skip the rebooking process because I don't want any glitches. I'll just pay my bank the silly $35.
Now I'm worrying that those seat options are a scam. We'll see.
I booked a flight for a family friend and when I received the confirmation email, I realized it was for the day after I intended. So I immediately cancelled and re-booked for the correct date. I was charged a $75 cancellation fee. I have called several times and spoken to representatives who tell me the cancellation fee cannot be refunded. The last time I called, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that the was no supervisor onsite. I then asked speak to the person who the rep reports to, and he states there is no one on site and just gives me an email to send my complaint. I sent the email hoping since this was my first time booking with them they would give a courtesy adjustment. They declined. I would have even been happy to be offered a partial refund, but they didn't even offer that or anything. I will tell everyone I know to never book with them.
This company, put several extra charges through not only one but two cards. Blaming credit card companies as they stopped charges due to multiple transactions thankfully. I eventually canceled after several hours of dealing with them locked out my cards and requested a refund that was only partially resolved. My credit card company will deal with the balance remaining. This was an extensive process and very inconvenient dealing with several agents, from sales and costumer service and my credit card company's. Flight hub and Justfly are one and the same Justfly being USA counterpart. I wound definitely not recommend this booking service. And although the agents are polite and seemingly helpful don't be fooled.
